Great stay!

This place is absolutely amazing! The location is perfect and the hosts were so helpful, flexible, and quick to respond . Bedrooms and bathrooms are enormous. Great room is the perfect spot to watch football or movies . Great, stocked kitchen. For sure plan to stay there again! Highjy recommend .

I was attracted to this listing for several reasons -- the gas fireplaces, the steam shower, and the presence of actual owners rather than a management company. I was not disappointed in any of these. I spent five weeks at this property, working remotely, skiing, visiting family and friends, and taking advantage of SLC's easily accessible cultural opportunities. The University of Utah's Fine Arts Museum was an easy TRAX ride, two stops away. The Broadway, home of the Salt Lake Film Society, was an easy walk. Driving to any of the ski resorts was entirely doable. The house is much bigger than what it appears from the outside. There are two master bedrooms, one downstairs, one upstairs. Both have desks, so suited to remote work. I enjoyed the light of the upstairs bedroom which had a comfortable desk (not a huge desk, but I had no trouble working there). After skiing (or really anytime), I loved the steam shower and the bath tub. Jon and Martine were communicative and responsive. Truly delightful people. They live close by. I am much more comfortable with this kind of situation than an impersonal management company. The 9th East TRAX station is steps away; the SLC Roasting Company is across the street, but the house also sports a luxury built-in coffee maker. The kitchen appliances are all of the highest quality. The only thing this house lacked was a yoga mat as there is no carpeting. But all in all I was very happy with my choice.

This house is a gem and a bargain. Built by the owner with the best materials and attention to detail. Garage parking and steps from the TRAX public train system stop. Great location with many restaurants and nice grocery stores within walking distance. Highly recommended.

By far one of our best rental experiences. We stayed for a month working remotely and had a truly unforgettable experience. Martine and John were wonderful hosts, the house is incredible, and the location cannot be beat. Close to everything downtown, walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants, and 30-40 to Park City. The amenities in the house were luxurious and the internet was fast. We couldn’t have asked for more! Worth every penny and we hope to be back again soon. Thanks Martine and John!

The only reason I did not give them 5 stars for cleanliness was the lack of antibacterial soap pumps at each sink. This seems important during the covid pandemic. The hosts were very friendly and met us at the house to give us a tour of their unique "green" house. The two ensuites are large and beautifully done. However, the shower in the master bathroom was not operating as a steam shower as advertised. We had a minor issue with the shower in the downstairs not having hot water. The hosts did immediately come over and turned up the hot water issue which alliviated the issue. The location is very convenient for walking to downtown and is just off of the light rail, but this home is not really in a "neighborhood" . It is a cluster of about 8 homes in a cul de sac just off a busy road. However, the house is so well built that noise is not an issue. These are just minor issues. Overall, a convenient property for two adult couples.

The owners designed and built the home and each element was beautifully hand selected from natural stone, wood, and water features that make the stay feel like you are at a spa. From the steam shower to the waterfall tub and the incredible coffee machine - no element of the home was overlooked. The design is perfect and creates peace. Great location everything is walkable. Hosts went above and beyond coordinating special requests and giving us the tour of the home's features. What a treat to meet the creative minds behind the beautiful place. Will definitely visit again!

House was awesome. Very modern, comfortable and clean. Location was great. After a long of day of hiking with my son it was great to have so many options for dinner within walking distance. Three supermarkets also walkable. Owners were great to work with. Entertainment room in basement was a very comfortable place to hang out. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful, upscale home! But in a very poor neighborhood. Sorry, but I have to be honest; houses on either side of us were over grown and in poor state of repair, one, two houses away was abandoned. I was concerned for my vehicle on the street at night. Great location though, close to everything. The host forgot we were coming. They gave us a $125 gift card and a bottle of nice wine - which was nice, but how is that even possible to forget a booking? Sorry, but these are things that are concerning to us. Once again, the place was exceptional, but seemingly out of place in this neighborhood.

We stayed here for a week to go skiing at Park City and Alta. It’s truly a fantastic location, close to all the amenities that a downtown offers. The house was beautiful inside, complete with all high end amenities. We loved our stay! The master shower was absolutely to die for! If/when we come back next season, we would love to stay here again!

Martine is such an amazing host, she has really helped me out on numerous occasions. She is incredibly accommodating and makes you feel very welcome at the house. The house is beautiful and very clean.

When we arrived, Martine greeted us at the property. She gave us a tour of her custom built home and it was indeed very impressive. We really appreciated her thoroughness in showing the property. She also gave us recommendations on what to do in the area and let us know what was available in the immediate vicinity. She was great! The residence was beautiful. The only downside of the property was that not all of the amenities that were shown on the website were operational. We had decided on this upscale property because we wanted to be able to enjoy the property in which we were staying since we wanted to make this a relaxing vacation. However, the feature that sold us on this property, the steam shower, was not operational. Additionally, the waterfall art feature was turned off, and the fireplaces were also turned off. When envisioning staying at this property, these features would have definitely added to the ambiance we were anticipating. Overall our experience was good, but it would have been good to know which amenities were functional beforehand so we would have been able to make a decision based on what we were actually getting.

The is an incredibly comfortable house with high end finishes in a very convenient part of the city. Everything from the appliances and sound system to the steam shower and jetted tub is top-notch. The host is very helpful easy to communicate with. If I could give this place 6 stars I definitely would.

We loved our stay at this beautiful and spacious home. We would definitely recommend it and stay here again. Location is great to public transportation, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The bedrooms are huge and the bathrooms are too. The kitchen is fantastic. Great great place to stay.

Everything you would expect based on their description and more. Martine greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the place to make sure we were knowledgeable of what was available and able to take full advantage of it. Very spacious, clean, and beyond comfortable.

We had a great stay in SLC, in no small part due to this wonderful house and the welcoming owners. Incredibly high end finishes everywhere in the house made for a relaxing stay. Centrally located and quiet. I would recommend this to anyone coming to town.

This home was everything we hoped for and more. It was convenient to downtown attractions, activities and restaurants. It is as advertised; super clean, super convenient and super smart. The owners, John and Martine, could not have been more hospitable. They made the arrival and departure very convenient and gave us great tips for restaurants and activities in the area. We particularly liked the restaurant Niche, which is within walking distance of this property. The steam shower and spa tub were a heavenly end to a busy day of touring or hiking. We would definitely recommend this property without hesitation!

Martine and John paid tremendous attention to detail when they built this home. Very clean, very comfortable with more than enough high quality amenities. Martine was very responsive to any questions we had. Works well for two couples or a family of four, convenient to both Sugar House and Downtown. Superb property and plays as advertised.

I stayed in this lovely home during a recent trip to SLC to drop my son off at the university. It was perfect for me. I loved everything about this house. I will stay here every time I come to SLC. The owners gave me a great tour and were helpful answering my many questions. I have food allergies and have to cook most of my own meals so I really enjoyed the gorgeous kitchen. I have stayed in many VRBO homes and this is by far the best!

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 older kids for nearly a week. My daughter is an incoming freshman at the U. This house does not disappoint! We really loved the location and easy access and proximity to both the University and downtown. We were happy to use the outside grill and the kitchen was a pleasure to work in. Martine, the owner, made us feel so welcome and gave us a great tour of the place. My kids especially loved the outstanding sound system and media room. After spending our days exploring and hiking the beautiful mountains, we were happy to come back to the house and appreciated a good nights sleep in the comfy beds. The steam shower in the master bath was a favorite! We are already planning a winter trip to return for skiing because of the easy drive to the ski resorts. You won't be disappointed with your stay at this amazing home!

I rented this lovely house while on business in SLC. The house is amazing, with every detail perfect. The owner who greeted us could not have been more helpful, and the house was stocked with basics, and more as the coffee in the espresso/capucchino machine set into the wall of the kitchen was superb and we appreciated the fresh peaches. We were busy all day and didn't have time to use all the amenities, but I appreciated the steam shower and airject tub that filled from the ceiling. Beds are very comfortable. Cooling is perfect. The indoor waterfall soothing. Location is great, and the owner recommended a restaurant we could walk to for breakfast that was so good we went 3 days out of 4. I've rented many times on VRBO and this is one of the best places ever.
