This was a great unit in the village. Very convenient with many food options and a quick walk to the ski lift. I would stay here again if we return to Northstar.

Everything was exactly as described! Clean, comfortable, and in a perfect spot at the base of Northstar. Conveniences were great; 2 hot tubs, underground parking out of the elements, private ski gear locker, minutes walk to the gondola, and the views are terrific!

Location of the unit right in the ski valley was great. Good options for casual dining that are walkable. Condo was laid out very nicely and having underground garage parking included was a plus. Would stay there again.

Nice floorplan with views to Village and beyond. Convenient and comfortable. Underground parking was warm, clean and easy to navigate. Unit is easy walk to ice rink, but likely preferable location with less noise. Easy check-in/out. All consistent with listing.

What an incredible place -- great location right in Northstar village, very well decorated, and fully furnished with all the kitchenware and cookware to eat at home. It also has all the essentials like paper towels, napkins, detergent, tissues very well stocked. The sofa bed in the living room is also incredibly comfortable and firm. Fireplace in the unit is warm and lovely. We had trouble finding a fitted sheet for the sofa bed and the owner responded to my message immediately with the location for the sheets. Super easy to take the elevator to the parking garage in the basement and also to hit the slopes. I'm already mentally planning ahead to come back and stay here again.

Our family of 4 enjoyed the convenience of being so close to the gondola, as well as the ski locker in the building to keep our gear dry and warm. The condo was nicely furnished, super clean, and exactly as advertised. The kitchen had everything we needed too. Check-in and parking in the building's garage was also super easy. A very comfortable place to come back to after a day of skiing. A short walk to the gondola. Parking was very easy under the building with an elevator to your room. I would come again.

The condo was clean and well appointed. The view of the village and mountains is pretty. I wish the toilet had a privacy wall instead of being out in the open bathroom. It’s a very nice place w convenient parking.

Beautiful condo in a gorgeous setting. The resort was fantastic. Just perfect in August. So close to Lake Tahoe and so much to do. We didn’t want to leave.

From check in to the last day everything about this place was easy. This was my first time out to the Tahoe area and it was such a great trip. The condo was in great shape when I got there and the location was perfect. So easy to get around whether you wanted to go into Truckee or over to Kings Beach. Had access to the gym and pool and enjoyed the sunrises from the balcony! Already planning to go back!

Perfect! Just perfect. Everything we hoped for came true. When we were booking this, I read all the reviews carefully (especially since some previous listings at Tahoe last year did not live up to their expectations). At first I wondered where the negative comments went— I couldn’t find any. What place gets consistent 5-star reviews?… This place! I have to say right away that we would—and undoubtedly will—come back here. I could tell before we arrived that Chris was very responsive, and that was evident throughout our stay. Great host. The condo was clean, bright, and exactly as depicted in the listing. Fully stocked with everything we needed throughout our month-long stay. We arrived in the evening, but checkin materials were waiting for us at the Lodge next door. The elevators from the underground parking came right up to the unit—easy. Would also be really convenient for a winter visit for skiing, etc. The only issue I had worried about before our arrival was the location, but that proved to be perfect. We were located halfway between Truckee and the north part of the lake (Kings Beach). It was easy to drive into Truckee for lunch or dinner, or to the grocery store. Driving into Kings Beach for dinner was also quick. There was also an incredible system of hiking trails on the Northstar property, as well as beautiful meadows nearby with miles of trails. We used them daily. A dream vacation! Thanks Chris!

The property was everything as described. The property owner/manager is very quick in communication. Perfect location if you are staying with your kids. The condo is clean. Definitely will come back!

I often hesitate to stay in a VRBO because they typically under deliver. Not the case here! Great views, pleasing design style and a well appointed unit with all the amenities we wanted. We didn’t cook, but none the less noticed the kitchen was well stocked with everything a chef might use. It was obvious the owners truly take pride in their property and have made every effort to deliver a top shelf product - something we appreciate being luxury rental property owners ourselves. The owners ask guests to remove their shoes and even provide a squeegee for the shower- just like we do at home. The housekeepers missed the mildew in the shower, but that was an easy fix for us. We highly recommend this unit!

The property was in a great location with awesome parking location. The place has everything you need for your stay. It was a really nice getaway and we even woke up to a beautiful new layer of snow. Magical. :)

The location made our trip with our three year old (and first time seeing the snow) very easy. The condo itself was very clean and spacious. Would definitely come back!

This place is very nice and conveniently located in the Northstar Village. Entire process was very easy.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our summer stay at Chris' property. It was perfectly located in the central part of the Northstar resort, with easy access to all of the amenities (pool, fitness center, shops, restaurants). The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare a few meals. We appreciated the beach chairs. Beautiful finishes all around, very clean and nicely appointed.

Great, communicative, responsive host! Location in ski village gives great view of the main area. We visited during summer's relative quiet, winter likely feels and sounds very different. Truckee, Incline, and surroundings seem to be the best areas to access around the lake and this Northstar condo puts one in their convenient proximity. Well equipped, lots of towels, extra consumable paper goods and soap/shampoo, a great stocked kitchen (we did not cook), laundry if needed, closets and bathroom are generous, thoughtful touches like tea and coffee, charging devices and lighting aside the main bed. This 1 BR unit is really a square cut up into one side that's a living space of kitchen flowing into the salon with a nice balcony with a dead on view up the main village, all running alongside the coat and laundry closets plus large bathroom that back the bedroom. Generous windows face out of the bedroom and salon (adjust those blinds against the direct sun during summer, and help out the A/C that is zoned with separate control between the bedroom and living sides). The top floor location permits a raised ceiling that adds much height and an impression of even greater spaciousness. Furnishings are stylish and tasteful, but also comfortable - with two mattress notes: Sofa bed is the best type, pulls outward to form a sectioned mattress without junky springs that feels level, uniformly firm over the entire surface, and supportive, so neither floppy nor miserable (in the manner that the sofa beds of my youth historically presented). Master bed mattress is super duper soft; though I'm lightweight, I sank at least 3" into the marshmallow feeling upper fluffy layers and still never felt any supportive parts beneath. My GF had no issues with it, unlike me. YMMV, of course, as mattress preference is a matter of personal taste. Aside from my personal preference issue, this is a worthy rental offered up by a sincerely responsive owner who avoided the usual old skis on the wall trope and put together a stylish, sharp, and well equipped ski village rental unit. Good job.

The village is nice although only select days were stores/restaurants open during the summer. One afternoon we enjoyed the gondola up the mountain and two different lifts up higher. The resort is deceiving large. Everything is tucked away and spread out so you feel nestled in a little village. We caught the sunrise right on the balcony several days the week we were there. We also took a day trip to Yosemite which was also lovely. The fitness center was close and well equipped as well. Having a place to park in the parking garage was also a bonus. Great rental!
