We had a wonderful time with our family at LCS. Kathy was a great host - she always responded to me in a very timely manor. The house was stocked with everything we needed both inside and outside. The kids had a great time with the kayaks, paddleboard and lily pad . The fire-pit with all the wood we needed was a great way to unwind after a day on the lake. We already booked the bouse for same time next year. Can't wait to stay at LCS in 2025.

LSC is a fantastic place to stay. Very little boat traffic, nice floating dock and boat ramp. The cabin has awesome appliances, plenty of space for large groups, and everything you would need to have a great time.
I stayed there for 5 days with extended family. We had a ton of fun unplugging and spending time together. The only hiccup we ran into was the AC was having issues. I contacted the owner who was very responsive. She contacted an HVAC company right away and a repair tech was out within 24 hours.
I would definitely stay here again.

This is the second year we have stayed at Little Sycamore Creek. We enjoyed it as much as the first year! Love having such a peaceful area. We had a wonderful week wake surfing, wake boarding & skiing. We love that we can watch those on the water from the house as well. Kathy answered every question quickly & the house & welcome gift were perfect. Thank you!

This house is amazing! It has everything you need, except the boat, to have an amazing vacation! If you do not bring a boat, please rent one. The lake was literally all to ourselves with the location being so remote. The owners have thought of everything and you don’t need to bring a lot of extras. We had a group of 13 and had plenty of room. We will definitely rent this house again when we come back.

This one is a keeper, we didn't want to leave. The cabin is well stocked, especially with cleaning supplies which are much needed at this time. Our family only used the master bed and bonus room bed above garage and they were both very comfortable. Secluded, we only saw a few fisherman. Use of kayaks was very convenient. With air hockey, tons of games and movies, you'll never be bored if inclement weather pops up. No sulfur water smell as some rentals in these areas can have. Very close to town, maybe 10 minutes. La Esperanza Mexican restaurant was great! Approx. 30 mins from nearest Mall. Great communication with host. Can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Little Sycamore Creek. Our entire party continues to rave about the property and the great time we had. There are no other properties on Norris like it. There is not another lake home for miles from this property, it’s surrounded by state protected lands, and is a true get away from the outside world. We are already planning our next stay. The owners have thought of everything. We cannot wait to return again.

Beautiful Property!
Our family had such a great time staying here. The owners have thought of everything you would need to have an amazing time here including fishing poles, kayaks, floating Lilly pad, an abundance of towels, seasonings and spices for cooking, etc! This is a great home for a large group to get away. Everything you could possibly need is provided. We had a group of 9 adults and 4 children under 10. Plenty of space for everyone. Great privacy at the end of the lake. Very few boats to bother you while swimming or tubing. Beautiful views as well!! Wonderful home and hosts.

Love this property!
A group of us rented LSC cabin for a long weekend and had a fantastic time. A couple of us had stayed here in 2020 and this trip was just as wonderful. The owners are very organized, responsive and really take great care of their property. Highly recommend for any large families or groups!

We loved our stay in Tazwell. The cabin was absolutely spotless. The cabin is out in the middle of nowhere. Normally, we might of enjoyed staying in the main part of the lake, but during crazy 2020 the location was perfect!! We really enjoyed the huge fire pit in the evenings!!

What a beautiful home and property! I’ve stayed at a handful of places in Norris and this is by far the best ever. The house was spotless, even more gorgeous in person, and the hosts had everything you could need.
Location was super private, easy to get to and close to the marina. We had a great weekend.

October vacation
Visited this property in late October with 4 adults and 4 kids (aged 18 mos to 12yo).
Beautiful property!
We loved the close proximity to town yet very secluded and private setting.
Cabin had plenty of room/bedding options to accommodate our family. Very clean and comfortable furnishings.
Kitchen very well stocked which was a welcome change from other rental properties.
Owner very easy to communicate with.
Unfortunately due to the time of the year, the lake water level was lower so bit of a mud pit out front but our kids loved it - just resulted in a lot more laundry!
We did manage to snag a ~30 lb striped bass in front of the cabin - released it back so someone else will have to see if they can catch it again!
Overall, a very pleasant stay and highly recommended!

Amazing!
This was by far my favorite vacation with my family and friends. We had 4 families, total of 18 people. The house was perfect for us. The views were amazing and the privacy can not be matched. Kathy (the owner) had everything you could ever need at the house and was very responsive when Inhad questioned. I miss this place already and are hoping to be back next year!

Amazing Family Reunion in an incredible beautiful home!!!
There is not enough words to describe the amazing beauty of this home nor the calming atmosphere of the Lake. The home has all you need for anything you may need! From cooking utensils, plates, pots etc to entertainment for the whole entire family. We were a total of 13 adults and 6 children and there was always something to do and enjoy with ample space . Everyone was always expressing how beautiful the home was and when we would come back to this home??! Kathy took care of every detail for us to ensure our stay was an amazing experience. Kathy has so many extras in the home as well as outside! She welcomed our family with a "Welcome basket of goodies, candies, cups, nuts and items for s'mores! There are four canoes in her property and we used them throughout our stay. I could go on and on writing about our family experience and the beauty of the home and the entire property. If you are looking for a home on the lake, look no further this is a home that family and friends will be talking about for a very long time! You will have no problems communicating or asking questions to the host, their response is always on time with an eagerness to support and help their guests. Thank you so much for making our family reunion 2019 an experience we will NEVER FORGET!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The house and amenities were as advertised and the house was very clean. I communicated with the owners by email and text, which worked great for me, and they were very prompt in replying each time.

We absolutely love this property!! The owners are very nice and accomodating. We had 11adults, and the layout of the house was more than enough room. If we ever are going to that area again, we will most definitely rent there again.

Fantastic place for a group
Overall, property was an incredible secluded lakeside retreat, which had easy access from the highway and was only 5 minutes from a gas station, 15 minutes from major groceries, and 25 minutes to the LMU campus.
We held a LMU graduation party which supported 8 guests for all four days and swelled up to 21 for two days. Sounds like a lot, but the interior and exterior amenities seemed to handle it with ease. There was plenty of room, with multiple places for groups as well as private nooks for those seeking a break for some alone time.
We would have loved the opportunity to play corn hole or walk the 100' across the lawn to the dock and either fish or kayak around what appeared to be a private finger of Norris Lake; unfortunately, the frequent rain showers kept us inside or under the covered deck, but it never felt crowded. If you want add a little competition to the conversation, there are several board games as well as an air hockey table. Some of us wanted to catch the NBA playoffs, no problem with one of the big TVs in several rooms.
The kitchen and dining amenities, which included two refrigerators and large gas BBQ, handled several meals with ease. Although we had 3-4 people preparing the meals, we never felt cramped getting it all delivered to the table for 10 or buffet line. In the evening we were able to enjoy the fire pit across the lawn by the lake shore, while listening to frogs and watching fireflies.
Everybody expressed having a great time and raved about the accommodations over an amazing long weekend.

This is by far the best place we've ever stayed! Absolutely beautiful and so clean and well kept!
Our family group of 14 couldn't have been more satisfied with our stay. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Little Sycamore Cabin is absolutely perfect--Everything we needed was provided and the attention to detail was incredible. Family members with allergies didn't have any issues either-- the cabin was immaculately kept and clean.
The owner responded quickly to any correspondence and was extremely nice-- even a welcome basket left to greet us!
This made our 7th family vacation and we all agree we only want to come back here for all future trips!

Perfect and private!
If you love peace and quiet, this is the spot. Except for the weekend, our boats were the only ones running (perfect for skiing and barefooting). The owners thought of every detail from phone chargers to a puzzle table! Kitchen well equipped and the two full refrigerators and deep freezer were so helpful with three families. Boat ramp on site able to launch boats but pulling them was too difficult so 25E is a short ride away. We loved exploring the acres of property as well; not something you can do on most Norris properties. Kathy was great with communication. Only suggestions would be to upgrade the towels in bathrooms and the internet access.
