We had a great week! The home is so welcoming And stocked with everything you need . We didn't have any issues so we never had contact with the owner. Great location!

Short walk to our beach and a great location in Surfside. We had 5 people stay but could easily fit more. The screened in porch was great for watching the summer storms.

Overall loved the home, front porch especially! Would have loved to have had some hangers to hang my clothes on.

Property owner was very responsive.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Surfside Beach. The location was perfect for visiting with friends and family in the area. A lot of great golf courses and restaurants….some within walking distance. The beach is just 2 blocks away and very pet friendly in April. Julia is a wonderful host and very responsive. We would love to stay again!

Perfect family vacation home with everything that is needed for a great stay in surfside.

We had a great week here. The location can't be beat and the layout of the house is great for gathering with friends and family.

We appreciated that this house had a few extras that made our stay really nice- a few extra beach chairs and gear, outdoor showers, a few leftover kitchen items from previous stays, laundry soap, hand soaps, a book stash in one room that I did not notice until the last day, even some extra sunscreen. Nicely decorated, lots of antiques. Our bed was very comfortable, not too hard. Because the beds are all queens, it was not ideal for teens, but it worked. The screened porch on the beach side and the deck on the other were nice for our group of people getting up at various times. The beach was less than 10 minutes to walk- very crowded when we were there in July but lots of space still (during the lower tide) for Frisbee. We picked up pizza from Valentino's one night which was the best and just a few minutes drive. Another place called Hyena Pizza had fun acoustic guitar live music even on the weeknights but not sure they have a reliable schedule- a large variety of smaller sized pizzas and beer. We missed the live entertainment at Scotty's Beach Bar. mostly Karaoke (but saw it was posted on their sign. Bubba's fish Shack is another place that was very close, those all walkable from the house- the tuna dip and the sweet Thai chili shrimp (not spicy) were great and most of the sides too. The grilled fish was a little more spicy than I like. They are serious about giving away your table if you are not there, but we were able to walk down, get on a list and come back (and get back on the list and seated soon when their estimation was off.) There's a Farmer's market every Tuesday we happened to find- lots of vendors, worth a visit. And, we saw the last day there is a library nearby too- they are about to have a book sale.. Old Fashion Ice Cream is open late and very busy but delicious, a little over a mile away. And, if you go to Kroger (Murell's Inlet, not far), Angela's Fresh Market around the corner had very fresh shrimp that was great and we tried the clam dip, also very good and we bought quarts of ice cream at painter's ice cream on the way back. So, great location! Just enough around without the craziness of other beaches.

Easy to rent.

Enjoyed our stay at this super cute beach house. The large family room is great for hanging out playing games or watching TV. Loved relaxing on the screened porch. Would stay here again.

My family and I loved staying at this location! It’s the perfect distance from the beach and the neighborhood is very friendly and quiet. There were plenty of restaurants nearby too. The only negative thing I could say about this place is that the WiFi would occasionally not work, but that would come and go. There were also a good amount of “water bugs” visualized around the property once the sun went down. Otherwise we loved staying here and hope to again! The owners were so accommodating and responded quickly and were so kind! Definitely recommend staying here!

easy access to beach. Though we did not watch much tv, we were disappointed in the small selection of channels available. overall, it was a good vacation!

From the moment we walked in the door we felt at home. Jim & Pink's place is spacious, clean & convenient to the beach. We opted to rent their golf cart & were so glad we did. It made getting to the beach & pier very fun & easy. The 4 bedrooms are situated in a way that provide optimal privacy for 4 couples or 2 families. They have 2 full jack & jill bathrooms that each separate 2 bedrooms on either side of the house. Plus a nice powder room for guests. The living area is huge & spacious, great for relaxing after a long day at the beach! I thoroughly enjoyed unwinding with my family on their large, comfortable screened in front porch. You can even hear the ocean at night. The kitchen has just what you need to cook & prep all week. The neighborhood is a quiet, pleasant, family friendly area. During our stay we were lucky enough to see the Total Eclipse! What a location to be in for this epic event! We will definitely come back another year! We were lucky enough to rent this beautiful home for a 2nd time for our daughter's wedding on Labor Day weekend 2016! This house is just perfect for our family. We were able to entertain, sleep comfortably in the beautiful bedrooms, relax and enjoy our time in the week preceding the wedding. The addition of wifi since our last stay was greatly appreciated! My daughter's wedding dress hung in one of the bedrooms :-) and the house was plenty big enough for all of the hustle and bustle that happened both before, and after, the big day! And being able to have our dog stay with us meant so much! We will forever be grateful to Julie and her family for allowing us to spend such a special time in their beautiful home (they even had a small wedding gift waiting for my daughter upon arrival!). I knew the minute we unlocked the door that this was the right place for us! This cottage is clean, comfortable, and feels like home immediately. The bedrooms are nicely decorated, the bathrooms updated and clean, and the kitchen is stocked with everything needed to enjoy home away from home. Nothing fancy, but exactly what we were looking for. It is a short walk to the beach and I felt safe walking our dog around the neighborhood alone. This is a family owned home and you could tell that much care and love have gone into this place. Julie was very easy to work with and responded quickly to my questions, and I received my security deposit back promptly. We hope to stay here again when we return for our daughter's wedding in September! The Coakleys

Visiting family over the Thanksgiving weekend. We were very pleased with this home. Short walk to the beach. Clean, well described, well maintain, touch of home. The owner(s) were very easy to work with. The cake they left for us was supergood. Everything worked. Bathrooms were up-2-date. We were 6, but 8 could use thus home with no problem. We have enjoyed our stays in this property for years. It is so well kept, clean, and newly redecorated with a bright and happy palette. Our kids love to walk or ride a golf cart down to Sophia's and the Surfside Pier for a hamburger and ice cream! This house is in a perfect location with great beach access a super short walk!
