Pleather Couch cushion was duct taped, drains were clogged, you can feel springs come though on mattresses. All surfaces had stickiness or residue from prior guest food/drinks on them. No hangers, dish soap, sponge or trash bags. Previous guest had left their trash bag with trash spilled all over the front yard. Carpet was torn up and sock were soiled pretty quickly if bare foot. I had to vacuum as soon as we got there and start cleaning to make sure I don’t keep getting sticky stuff on my hands every time I touch or opened something. Barbecue was not cleaned. Heater loud all night long. Linen and towel closet was a mess. No closet in one bedroom and no drawers in the other. The small closet that is available has a vacuum and mop stuff so you can clean but that closet had trash and I cleaned it and vacuumed it as well as the rest of the place. Not sure if blankets in couch storage had been washed. No remote for tv in bedroom and app does not work for it. Light bulbs were out so the living room was very dim. Only had one bulb and I think it needs 3 or 4?Large dog feces left around the property from previous guest. About sums it up.
Positives, great water pressure close to stuff. Owner sent us dish soap sponges and trash bags via Amazon but some took a bit of time. The locks work.

Overall our stay was great. There were just a couple of things. Our daughter found old food containers and clothes under the bunk bed and then there was lot of trash and dog poop in the front parking area. The mattresses could also use a little updating as they are very old and thin. We did enjoy our stay and it was a great place for our family and dog.

Monica was wonderful from booking to checking out. She went as far to send us pictures to let us know there was still some snowy spot, very kind!
The property itself was awesome, so cute and quaint they stocked the bathroom with things you might need, the kitchen had an array of spices, pots and pans.
The coffee bar was cute, honestly if you need a spot no matter the season check them out!
We will be back, our furry friend loved the yard and our daughter loved the bunk beds

We paid cheaper here than hotels but more space, more amenities, more perks for a five member family.
Great attention to details.
The kitchen has utensils more than I ever expected.
Lots of pop corn, I even cook pancake.
I give my kids hot chocolate milk whenever they want.
Spices are complete in the kitchen.
Full size ref with freezer.
Bathroom is well stocked with hotel toiletries and even more.
The property is very clean and smelled so good.
It’s so roomy for a Five member family. Everybody have their own bed.
I woke up in the morning with sunshine over snow covered ground as I looked thru the window, that’s already vacation for me! I could have just stayed here the whole vacation time and be completely contented.

I cooked for my family with complete kitchen ensemble.
Fully stocked with toiletries and kitchen needs.
While still in COVID era, I don’t worry with too much exposure to other people.

Great little cabin with everything you need
My puppies and I had a great time in the fenced back yard. Very thankful that the management had shoveled the front for us. Great stay!

Wonderful time in the snow
Great little place, with lots of homey touches. Kids loved playing in the backyard and the area was lovely. Host very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend for a family getaway.

This was perfect for our needs. It is a cute small house, was very clean and comfortable. The light in the bedroom doesn’t seem to be working properly but that was a minor inconvenience because there is also a small lamp. We’d stay here again!

Nearby lots of local fun
I enjoyed staying here with my family and kids, the house was perfect and cozy. The only bad thing was that the light in the bedroom and the front of the house didn’t work. My husband fixed the outside one but didn’t fix the bedroom light due to not wanting to damage it. Overall, the house was cozy and brought my family closer. It was amazing how close it was to the stores and snow play for the kids! We will definitely stay at the property again. Thank you!

Great experience with this rental. Place was super clean and well stocked. Felt cozy and had enough space for my family. Cooking in the kitchen that was well stocked was super convenient. Would stay again for sure.

Awesome stay
We enjoyed our stay at this cozy little cabin. The location was great: close to town but quiet and somewhat secluded. Communication was top notch. If I had one critique it would be the lighting: not a lot of natural light and the lights were dim. These are minor concerns though. All told, great stay.

Family Big Bear Vacation
Overall, the cabin is well suited and we had fun. The backyard is a great surprise with the small bar, lights , and fire pit.
The house does need updating of newer bedding and sheets. The bedding seemed old and at a certain point dirty. The mattresses need a serious upgrade they are not comfortable.
It does need some deep cleaning, the sofa was full of animal hair , hair , old socks. My back pijamas where full of hairs etc.. after we watch a movie.
The owner did warn me that there would be no towel because they receive clean towels once a week, and that I had reserved last minute. That was inconvenient also there was no blender which messed up all my plans for the breakfast meal I wanted to cook for the family .

Small and cute, perfect for small families, needs work on cleanliness
The place was cute great street location. Very close to tubing. Ideal with front fence for visitors with dogs as the dog can go out. One issue was that there were no clean towels when we arrived. Also, it didn't seem like the spare room bed sheets were clean / replaced. Contact owner and was told cleaning people would be sent with towels and they never showed up or did we ever receive a reply from owner. Stove was very dirty from top and inside with food. Yuck!!

Very nice, clean and cozy cabin
This cabin is very nice, clean and cozy. Very close to Snow Play and Snow Summit. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of open space in front and back. We were lucky to get fresh snow fall during our stay. Very strong wall heater kept us warm and cozy throughout.
We were a group of 4 adults and 3 kids (under 5 years old) and stayed there for 2 nights. We thought a little extra space would have helped us. It would be perfect for any smaller group than ours.
Kitchen is fully stocked. Some easy fixes like missing chopping board, dish rack/ strainer and kitchen towels, TV remote battery was not working.
Host is very responsive and helpful.
Highly recommended for a smaller group.

Great cozy spot for a family of 6
This place was a great spot for my family of 6 to stay. I have 2 kids and the rest adults and they had a blast playing on the bunk beds. The wall unit heater was good enough to keep the whole place warm. The hot water was instantaneous. The back storage shed with the bar and stuff was really cool. The location was pretty dang close to the slopes but not too close so we were able to enjoy the secluded feel. Overall was great and had a blast. Would definitely recommend.

Great Weekend Getaway
Snug little cottage right outside of downtown Big Bear. Accommodations were excellent, everything in the house was clean and worked as expected, and it was supplied with all kinds of goodies (board games, cookware, yard games, bonfire pit) to kick the weekend into hyperdrive. Owner was very responsive, providing all necessary information beforehand for us to get into the house and get comfortable.
The backyard shed was especially appealing - the other guests and I were thrilled to find such a neat little hangout spot. Great vibe! I would absolutely recommend.

Just enough to enjoy Big Bear
Very clean cabin in a good location. The tubing is walking distance, a great hiking area where you can let the dog run loose is walking distance away and it is a 5 min drive to Snow Summit and Big Bear Mountain. The owners are nice and react quickly to your questions. A great value for your money.

I was in your cabin last weekend ( Feb 4 to Feb 6 ), the cabin is beautiful, it has have everything we need and much more, your husband was very kind to remove the snow for the parking lot. The cabin is perfect to be in family, clean, with all the services, the perfect wireless internet, it is close to everything, 100% recommended. Thanks to let me have in your cabin and enjoy Big Bear !!!!
