When walking through lovely old Chicago neighborhoods I will admire the beautiful old home. I always wondered what the inside of those homes look like, and I just found out when staying in this lovely property. It is just what I imagined it would be - elegant, spacious and beautifully decorated. The unit was so comfortable and well appointed, and close to so many things to do. Really close to the Loyola Lakeshore campus! We will definitely look this property up when our daughter starts college at Loyola next year.

My son and I traveled here from Pittsburgh for a concert in Chicago. This rental was within walking distance of restaurants, stores, and the subway. This clean, comfortable spot was a perfect and safe 'home base' for our trip!

From the location to the neighborhood Luxury Loyola hit it out of the park. Gary was available at every turn to help us out from parking questions to the chic appointed space. This truly was a very comfortable and well appointed space! We enjoyed the weekend with friends and family! Thanks again Gary for all your help! In town for a wedding! Gary’s place was perfect for our family (3 couples) We had enough space to spread out and all the amenities we needed. Parking was easy too!

Great location (within a few blocks to Loyola and a few miles to Northwestern and DePaul), clean, plenty of space and all the amenities you need. The owner Gary, is very responsive and had great communication throughout our stay. Parking was a breeze. There is a reason why he has so many 5 star reviews. Trust me when I say stay here.

Our group of 6 was sad to leave. This place was more spacious than it appears in photos and well stocked with anything you might need. Gary is super attentive and quickly took care of minor issue we had. We felt very safe in this area and enjoyed being able to walk to nice beach and many restaurants. Also loved the front balcony to enjoy coffee and the beautiful garden for happy hour with Gary’s darling dog! Beds comfy too! Honestly not one complaint from anyone in our group. Thank you Gary for being wonderful host!

This is in our top ten vacation rentals. It is a lovely place, spacious, clean, and tastefully appointed. The location is terrific, and our host was very responsive and hospitable. Book this place is you need a place in Rodgers Park. You will be as happy as we were!

The apartment is tastefully decorated, has plenty of storage space, and comes with all daily utilities (hairdryer, kitchen utensils, soap ...). The furniture and the room layout are well-thought-out, too.
Throughout our 4 week’s stay and before, Gary’s cleaning staff did a wonderful job to keep the apartment always in a very clean condition.
The neighborhood with its nice trees along the roadside is appealing, too. The nearby beach, parking, gym, good shopping facilities and the proximity to the Red Line with direct access to downtown are additional advantages of the location.
The check-in and check-out process is well organized and provided us with all necessary information at the right point in time.
Gary’s support throughout and before our stay was awesome.
All in all, we had a wonderful vacation and would love to come back anytime!

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was nicely furnished, clean and fit our family of 5 well. It was comfortable and the property manager was friendly and available.
We enjoyed the neighborhood - there were food places within walking distance and a very short walk to the redline.
No complaints at all, great experience.

We stayed 2 nights while visiting colleges in the area with our family. The house was great for the six of us! Gary was very helpful with all our questions. The location was very convenient to so many things and easy to access public transportation. We saw a Cubs game and visited several sites around the city. We would book again for sure!

We came for a weekend family reunion. We had 5 adults and a 9 month old.
Lovely well kept neighborhood near Loyola Univ. @ 1.5 blocks from Sheridan. Many restaurants and transportation nearby. On street parking available for our vehicle.
Host provides quality product in every way and excellent communication. Check in and out Instructions clear.
Should note that there are some moderately steep stairs which lead to the 2nd floor Unit.
I would highly recommend the Unit and the Host

We had a great trip to Chicago. The apartment was spotless and well equipped. It is a block from the Red Line train so we were able to get downtown and to Wrigley easily despite the CTA. Very spacious apartment, and the host was readily accessible for any issues.

Our stay in Chicago was perfect! The place was just as described; it was a beautifully updated townhouse with some of the charm of being in a historic building. The hosts provided all the necessary amenities such as basic toiletries, coffee filters, coffee maker, basic spices, kitchen utensils/cookware, etc. Gary was very responsive and kind. The location was perfect! It was in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach, red line, and grocery stores.

We were in town for our son’s graduation at Loyola University. The location is just a short distance from campus, very convenient if you look for a place to stay near Loyola with extra bedrooms for family. The house is spotless, simple and nicely decorated. It’s upstairs from the host but we had the privacy. It’s got everything we needed for the stay. Host was responsive. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever need to be back to Loyola.

We traveled from Atlanta, Ga for a bridal shower in Chicago. We loved this home and the location. We were able to attend the bridal shower in the suburbs and ride the train into the city for our site seeing excursions! Walking distance to many amenities Everything was just as advertised. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a well-appointed, clean and spacious second floor walk-up apartment in short walking distance from Loyola campus and train station. We loved the interior decor and landscaping/gardens on a pretty tree-lined street. The checkout list was very reasonable. Out host Gary was responsive and super nice. We found Gary’s listing on VRBO and were so happy to find a property that met our needs. The check in process was flawless. The space was spotless. Every part of the space worked and was comfortable from beginning to end. Gary was exceedingly accommodating in helping us track down some necessities and made the whole stay more pleasurable. We stayed for 3 nights and found the property well-kept, on a quiet street just down the street from Loyola and the elevated train. The owner was kept in contact throughout and provided clear check-in and check-out instructions. If we find ourselves needing a place in Rogers Park again we would revisit this VRBO.
