We enjoyed this comfortable house. Kitchen was great and well stocked. Mattresses were so comfortable and the views were really fabulous from the living room. We had a small mix up at check in and the owner handled it quickly and graciously. Perfect location for Baie St. Paul and le Massif.

Great place. Lots of room for family. Close to mountain and Baie St. Paul. I could grab sandwiches from the bakery in town in the morning and take them with me for lunch and still make the first lift.

Right at home
We felt right at home in this beautiful rental. It was spacious, clean, and very well stocked. We enjoyed all the amenities in the house but our favorite perks were the sound of the babbling brook and the views of the river in the distance. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Gorgeous comfortable house near Quebec City
We had a great time in this wonderful home. It's spacious and full of light. It feels luxurious, but also comfortable and homelike. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and fun to cook in. We particular enjoyed visiting nearly Baie-Saint-Paul, with all its art galleries and small shops, and we had a beautiful walk from Maison Mère in downtown Baie-Saint-Paul to the river. Quebec City is only an hour away and we found parking to be surprisingly easy, given that the busy season had already begun. The Chateau Frontenac and the Citadelle are not to be missed. A great trip!

A Fine Country Home
We spent three great weeks at the Champetre chalet enjoying the beautiful views of the St. Lawrence and Ile des Coudres joined at various times by our children, their spouses and our grandchildren. This location is perfect for those who like to ski and cook, midway between Le Massif and Baie Saint Paul. The large kitchen with five burner gas range was perfect for several people to work in simultaneously. Crowds gathered for aprés-ski snacks around the kitchen peninsula. The lovely Jura Espresso machine was also crowd favorite.
The bedrooms were surprisingly big with comfortable beds and cozy duvets. All the grandchildren wanted to sleep in the secret bunk beds (off the main floor en-suite)
Having a living area on each floor made things much less hectic.
The internet worked very well and was more than adequate for Zoom meetings while multiple devices were in use.
We were very pleased with our host François and truly enjoyed our stay.

Superb!
Everything was amazing. The house was gorgeous, hot tub was great and the kids had lots of fun playing pool. We had a wonderful 2 weeks here in summer with lovely views over the St. Lawrence River and some of the most incredible Quebec National Parks within 60-90 minutes away. Baie St-Paul is only 10 minutes away by car and is a lovely small town, not to be missed. In fact, the whole of the Charlevoix area is not too be missed especially this beautiful property. The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Francois was a very good host and responded very quickly to all of our questions. We certainly hope to be back here soon. Thank you Francois for a great stay!!

Amazing Ski Getaway
Had an excellent week with 2 families sharing the house - lots of space for us all. Very well appointed kitchen and we enjoyed the espresso machine and gas stove. Loved being in the trees, and the kids were able to take advantage of playing outside in the sheltered yard. Easy trips back and forth to Le Massif (top and bottom). Great supply of games for families. Lovely wood fireplaces. Would definitely return for another week!

Cozy home, cozy town
We love staying here! The home has everything you need has an inviting feeling. Easy drive into Quebec City and minutes from Baie St. Paul, a cute little town with shops and restaurants. We enjoy the hot tub and fireplace!

A week just wasn't enough!!
Our family spent the most wonderful week in this beautiful Villa! We booked hoping we would have a relaxing week out of the big city and we definitly weren't disappointed. Francois and Annie have thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay. We had a small problem our second day with my son and sister getting stung by a wasp but francois was so quick in responding to my message that the next day he had exterminators at the door to investigate the problem and remove a nest we found. We can't wait to go back! Merci Beaucoup!

Wonderful property with great view. Clean, well stocked, comfortable.
We stayed for one week at the end of March and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. With the exception of no kindling or splitting tool, we loved everything about the house. The home was spotless upon our arrival and completely well stocked. Fabulous skiing was around the corner and a hot tub soak was well appreciated after a full day of Le Massif.

Amazing mountain home with excellent access to all Charlevoix has to offer!
Our family LOVED this house. It has such a wonderful setup for families. The main floor has a master bedroom with a toddler room off of it to allow us to stay close to young children but also have our own space. Furthermore, the kitchen is top notch with all you would need to host a party for 10 people. The basement has 3 bedrooms, a pool table, TV, and walkout access. Two families could easily stay here and have their own floors!
The outside of the home is also great for families with a stream, fire pit, children play set and even a tree house!
Finally, the location is fantastic as you are in the mountains with a beautiful view of the river and Coudres but you are only 10 minutes from Baie St Paul. We explored the entire region from the location (Massif, Eboulements, farms, La Malbaie, Tadoussac, Fjords,etc).
The only bad part is we were sad to leave. Our child said "I am very sad to leave my house" :). We hope your family loves this house when you visit as well!!

Great House for a family vacation
We rented the house for a family vacation with my two daughters and my parents. The area have a lot of trees and most of the other houses in the area do not have a view of the river. But this house has a good view from the family room and deck. The kitchen is very well stock with spices, pots and pans. They even have a BBQ too. You have to provide your own charcoal.
The house is laid out with the master bedroom, kitchen, dinning room and family on the ground level. There's a staircase to the lower level with three bedrooms, bathroom, another family room with TV and pool table. The hot tub is outside the lower level.
Good communications with the hosts and they provided us with recommendations for bakeries and places to eat.
We would rent this place again.

The overall property was amazing! Our grandkids loves the play equipment, the stream on the property, and best of all the treehouse. The house was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The homeowners were incredibly helpful in their prompt and thorough replies, Going above and beyond what was even needed. The view from the house is quite beautiful, with the River off in the distance. Location was peaceful and we loved the close proximity to the Charming artsy town of Baie Saint Paul and National Park.

Beautiful views in a space of pure comfort
Beautiful location with views of the St. Lawrence. This home made us feel right at home where we were able to have our own individual spaces as well as gather for home cooked meals in an outstanding kitchen stocked with the tools and appliances for the avid cooker to a chef. We were pleasantly surprised at how detailed the kitchen was with items that normally yiu would never find in the majority of rentals. From spices to oils, plastic wrap aND storage containers these were thoughtful touches that made ones stay that much more comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for a family with any range of children.

Such a beautiful home to stay in! The view of the river from the living room at night was so peaceful. This home has all you need for your stay. Our family booked a last minute trip to spend Thanksgiving in Canada. Francois was responsive and so willing to help with anything we needed. We enjoyed the fire place, large couch to fit the whole family, hot tub, large dinner table, kitchen and pool table. This home is just ten minutes from Bein St. Paul which is a charming little town. We were able to visit Quebec City which is only an hour away and an easy drive. This home was in the perfect location. Close enough to Quebec City to visit but far enough to have a secluded get away with amazing views!

Excellent vacation home. This is an extremely well equipped home with ample room for a family of 4. We enjoyed the deck and the fantastic view from it. The proximity to Baie St. Paul was good. We were most impressed with the tranquility and serenity of the property. This is exactly what we were seeking for our vacation. Wonderful and relaxing get away!
I spend the week with 7 friends at this location as a guest. This 4 season cottage was huge and it was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with every utensil and cooking implements. Propane BBQ, Hot tub, fire pit, pool table, board games, great view and ample space for everyone to "crash". The layout was very functional and lot's of windows for natural light. I didn't want to leave!...

Nous avons passe une semaine avec un groupe d'amis. Propriete fantastique. Tres bien stocke en equipement dans la cuisine. Le petit ruisseau a cote de l'endroit a feu de camp, superbe! Les grandes fenetres dans la salle familiale ou dans la chambre des maitres laissent entrer beaucoup de lumiere. Beaucoup d'espaces, tres propres. Un deck avec une vue imprenable. On va y retourner.

Little paradise near le Massif
Amazing location (5 minutes to Le Massif), breathtaking view on the St-Laurence River and Ile Aux Coude. Beautiful kitchen, fully equipped, a great place to spend time with friends by the kitchen island. We enjoyed the spa, after an awesome day of ski, while kids were playing pool. We are hoping to return next year for Easter weekend. If you are lucky you might be able to enjoy a beer and Hot Dog at the foothill chalet on a sunny day! A little paradise for those who want to have a great day skiing and a 5 stars accommodation. We recommend it without hesitation.

Adorable long weekend entre amis à Charlevoix
La Champêtre s'est avérée l'endroit idéal pour relaxer entre amis. La résidence est très propre, très bien aménagée et parfaite pour accueillir plusieurs personnes. Le sous-sol avec son cinéma maison, la table de billard et la sortie directe pour le spa est un refuge idéal autant pour les enfants que les adultes. La cuisine est digne d'un décor de revue de design et la vue sur le St-Laurent est spectaculaire. Notre expérience fut vraiment extraordinaire et à la hauteur de nos attentes. Magnifique semaine dans Charlevoix
La Champêtre est une magnifique résidence avec toutes les choses dont nous avions besoin pour passer un agréable séjour. La résidence était très bien entretenue malgré un bris de lave-vaisselle pendant notre présence. Il a cependant été changé pour un neuf dans les 24h dès que nous avons mentionné le problème aux propriétaires. Bravo! Une belle expérience client. On recommande sans hésitation.
