Perfect condo on the beach -- we didn't want to leave. Spacious and with all the finishing touches of a tasteful relaxing vacation home. Comfortable furniture and beds. Very well stocked kitchen with all the cooking equipment you could need + BBQ. We chose it for the view and it didn't disappoint - spectacular sunsets every night. Very quiet. Lovely pool and hot tub. Short walk to the beach -- and once there you can walk for miles. Several great restaurants within walking distance -- don't miss the Naked Cafe for brunch. We felt very privileged to stay in this lovely condo.

We thoroughly enjoyed this unit for our 1 month stay. We are locals that were displaced because of a house flood and felt like we were on a vacation while staying at this condo. The location and amenities were amazing, the view and sunsets were breathtaking and we loved walking everywhere for coffee, breakfast and dinner. We would definitely want to stay here again.

We rented this condo for the second year this summer. The cond itself is well appointed, clean, and quite comfortable. We love sitting on the deck watching pelicans and surfers and even an occasional dolphin swimming by. The Solana Beach area is wonderful and the rental agent is always accessible. The condo complex is secure with codes that are easily used. It’s all in all truly an excellent place to rent.

This condo is well appointed and perfectly situated on the bluff overlooking the ocean. The balcony has inviting chairs and there is a breakfast nook from which you can enjoy the ocean view as well. We stayed almost two months in this very nice condo. It was both a vacation and a working time. We enjoyed the condo and location. Very beautiful sunsets!

Great views but lacks cleanliness
The location is perfect and the views are amazing. However, upon entering the property for the first time, we discovered a trash bag on a chair, clumps of hair on the rug and dirty showers and kitchen sink. I contacted management and they were very responsive. I cleaned up the messes left behind so they refunded me the cleaning fee. After seeing other reviews with the same issue, I hope a new cleaning company has been hired.

Best Views Ever!
The photos are 100% accurate of the views you get from this property...absolutely the best seat for daily sunsets! The property is otherwise largely as described. The complex is incredibly well kept and all the long-term tenants that we met were very friendly.
The property management company was very responsive to our few concerns. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the property upon arrival and neither of the 2 supplied room fans worked. The property management company offered to send in a cleaning crew during our stay at our convenience and provided brand new fans that day. We were also surprised to find that the nearest beach access to this property (just north of the tennis courts) has been permanently closed for some time. The listing now accurately reflects that you will have to walk about 5 minutes either north to Fletcher Cove (no stairs to beach) or south to Seascape Surf (stairs). For families heading to the beach with kids/strollers/lots of stuff Fletcher Cove is the easier of the two options and also has public restrooms and a playground.

Perfect location and great place overall. 2 negatives were the cleanliness and parking.
Both showers had hair (gross) and sand in them from the previous guests.
Parking is convenient BUT the ceiling is VERY low and I had to take my roof rack off and drag the carrier into a parking spot. I wish the description of the garage stated that the ceiling is low and most SUVs or cars with racks would not fit!!
Great location and the condo was awesome with the pool and hot tub. Will stay again soon.

Solana Trip
This is our second stay at this condo and we plan on returning. The views, property, and close proximity to the beach make this a 5 star stay. My wish list for this condo would include a Keurig coffee maker and a portable ac unit for the 2nd bedroom (master has great sea breeze flow). Thanks for a great experience and see you next year!

Best Beach Condo on the beach!
The minute you walk in you see nothing but ocean. Open the slider door and windows and the fresh ocean breeze hits you and the sound of the waves relax you! It's clean, beds are big and comfy. TV's have netflix and cable, shops are close by, pool is nice, spa is hot and it's just a wonderful place to reset from the busy world. WIFI is great!

It was more than we expected! So beautiful 2 balconies right on water. Just perfect. The 2nd bed (queen) is hard and the property has a step down from entry way into living room which didn't work for my daughter's wheelchair, but that is an isolated issue. Only 2 things I would change. Thank you for a great week!

Peaceful Ocean Views
If you are looking for a peaceful beach rental in San Diego area, look no further. We had a wonderful stay for four adults. The condo and the views were so gorgeous we never wanted to leave. We woke up to the sounds of the ocean and had coffee on the balcony overlooking the crashing waves, surfers, and ocean wildlife. Mornings were picture perfect, but were actually surpassed by viewing the unbelievable sunsets from the balcony.
The condo is clean, nicely furnished & includes everything you could want... from a wine fridge down to scotch tape. Every time we needed something, we found it in one of the cabinets. Underground parking was convenient and we enjoyed other condo complex amenities, including the pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean.
The location is wonderful! If you ever want to leave the balcony and walk directly on the beach, the access point is a short walk from the condo. Numerous restaurants and a CVS are located within a few blocks walk. We especially enjoyed brunch at Beach Grass Cafe. I definitely recommend this property for a peaceful beach stay.

A Blissful Retreat!
We spent an absolutely fantastic week at this beautiful property over the holidays. The space was perfect for our two couples. It was stylishly furnished, extremely well-appointed, very comfortable, and the view was breathtaking. The Pacific Ocean, at our very doorstep! We sipped coffee on the balcony looking out at the ocean every morning, and took leisurely strolls on the beach just about every day. The Master suite is extremely spacious, with a gorgeous King Size bed, beautiful ocean view, modern shower and en suite bathroom, which was extremely convenient. The other guest room boasts a lovely Queen Size bed, and has a second bathroom right outside. The common area is light and airy, with casual beach decor, generous, comfortable seating, and a wonderful kitchen stocked with every tool and appliance. We also appreciated the excellent (if a little small) laundry facilities in the unit. We cooked often--even entertained family for a small gathering one afternoon--and enjoyed several relaxing days in between. The building itself is quiet, with residents and renters extremely respectful of each other's space. And the pool and hot tub were both excellent -- well-heated and well-maintained. This lovely property provided just the escape we needed for a relaxing, blissful week. We'd jump at the chance to return!

Came for the beach and will return to this condo!
We came for a week and didn’t want to leave! Upon entering the condo, we were immediately drawn to the terrace and that spectacular view of the ocean. We spent many hours in the comfortable chairs (the pictures don’t do the new ones justice) during the morning and sunset hours, just listening to the ocean and feeling the soft breeze. Not only is the condo comfortably furnished but the thematic ocean decorations clearly add to its charm. Located within easy walking distance to quaint shops and a wide variety of restaurants, we can’t imagine a more ideal place to stay. We highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. We came to California for the weather but we left with lasting memories of one of the best accommodations we’ve ever had. And we’re definitely planning to return!

If you’re looking for a beach front stay in San Diego - look no further! My favorite part was waking up to the sound of the ocean and enjoying a coffee overlooking the water - unreal! I almost didn’t want to review this so I could keep this hidden gem for myself when I come back to San Diego next.
Solana Beach was perfect for our small group - downtown has great restaurants (burrito spots + fancy dinners), bars walkable from the condo, plus you’re right on top of a beautiful beach and park.
The place was just as advertised, clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The property manager was very responsive and helped make sure we got settled in.

The Surfsong development is our favorite at Solana Beach and this is our third time returning. The property is quiet, well maintained, and convenient to all the places you might want to visit/shop/dine. This was our first stay in this unit and we were not disappointed. The condo was comfortably furnished and roomy with a great coastal vibe. We spent the week just relaxing, walking, and enjoying the incredible view from the patio. We highly recommend this rental.

I love the decor, very California stylish. Full kitchen with cooking items. A great big flat screen in both the living room and master bedroom. And thanks for the washer/ dryer which were so needed.
The balcony became my happy hour go to, with a drink, looking down at the ocean and the walkers; it's so calming I was glued into my chair. But luckily the master bedroom let's you open the window to hear the waves at night too.
Shops and dining are nearby plus a large CVS store, so I didn't need to leave the area once I got groceries.
In short: it was probably the best restorative vacation we've ever taken!

My fiance and I stayed at this property for a week and could not have been happier with our choice. We saw dolphins swimming in the ocean every morning while drinking our coffee. The condo complex was quiet and very close to Solana Beach's prime beach spot. Centrally located between downtown San Diego and North County. Will definitely be back in the future.

We have a 2 year old and this place was great for a family with small children. The beach was only a short walk away (we walked to the beach 2 times a day and it was no problem with the little one). We took trips into the city to go to both Sea World and the Zoo both of which were very easy drives and didnt take very long. The house was great as we could put our daughter down for naps and bedtime and still had a nice living room as well as beautiful balcony to spend time in. We loved eating meals out on the balcony and the view was amazing. We also slept with the sliding door to the master bedroom open and it was amazing to sleep to the sound of the waves.There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance that were kid friendly as well as had take-out for those nights where we would rather eat in the condo.Also, my wife has bad allergies and didnt have any problems at this condo as sometimes with rental places there can either be dust or pet issues that cause her problems. It was an amazing trip and we would love to stay at this condo on our next trip to San Diego.

Excellent Condo, Great Location, Kid Friendly

The house was great as we could put our daughter down for naps and bedtime and still had a nice living room as well as beautiful balcony to spend time in. We loved eating meals out on the balcony and the view was amazing. We also slept with the sliding door to the master bedroom open and it was amazing to sleep to the sound of the waves.
