My husband, myself and our 2.5 year old came up to visit Story Land. This was very close which was very convenient. The check in process was super easy especially after a long drive there. There is no air conditioning so if you’re traveling in the warmer months take that into consideration. There are some small oscillating fans in the closet though. The kitchen was updated and stocked, even with seasonings which was very helpful. I do wish there would have been some plastic plates and cups for my toddler. We brought food to grill outside but the ignitor wasn’t working so we had to cook inside. That was a bummer. The ability to use the facilities across the street is a plus. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked nice. We did go to the playground once. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to go for a walk along the side street. Overall this was an enjoyable stay.

This cabin was perfect for my family of 4. Neat and clean, and had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. The kids really enjoyed the indoor and heated outdoor pools—such a bonus in the winter!

The cottage was very clean. The only thing that was disappointing was there wasn’t any toilet paper and the steps leading into the home were a sheet of ice and there was no sand or salt to put down.

My husband, our moms, and our two kids (ages 3 &1) stayed here for a week. We had a wonderful time playing in the snow, visiting the shops in North Conway, and using the hot tub and pool across the street. It was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. We made burgers, soups, eggs, and there were spices in the cabinet to boot! Peg was very accommodating. The hairdryer was missing so we went out to buy a replacement and she refunded us right away. Oh, and central heating was a nice plus for those chilly nights! We would love to come back in the summer to see the contrast and do some hikes when the kids are bigger. The only drawback I would say is the height of the beds for young children. I was nervous that they might roll off or get hurt but thankfully they did not. They weren't the most comfortable beds either but of course it's always strange sleeping in a new place and everyone has different preferences for beds. There were plenty of blankets so we were cozy enough. Thank you Peg! Definitely recommend :)

The house was perfect and directions for the tv and wood burning stove were spot on. The location is perfect for North Conway adventures and just minutes from Jackson. The stay was all that we hoped and you can’t beat the price. A hotel room would not only cost more but you would miss the coziness of this house.

The host was very accommodating throughout the entire process and once we arrived, we were pleasantly relieved. The cottage was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We will definitely be returning here. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect size for a family of 4. Incredibly cozy and well stocked. Beds were comfy. Appreciated all of the hooks for coats and towels. Mud room was amazing!!!! Love the pools, game room and trails on property. We hope to go back!

Quick stop to the Fryeburg fair in Maine!!! This was our home base and it was quite nice!! It is quite cozy!!! Not much room to chill but great place to hit the 3 s’s and roll out!!!

This was our second visit to the Cottage with our granddaughter. It is great to be so close after a long day at Storyland. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and spending time at the cottage playing games. Looking forward to next year already

This cabin is a wonderful location to visit the Washington National Forest, and see all of the waterfalls. The host was quick to respond to an urgent question.

We had a great time at Peg’s cottage for our family vacation to Storyland. The cottage is comfortable, clean, and adorable (note that you need to bring your own linens, towels, toiletries, k cups, etc, and are asked to replace paper towels and TP if necessary) and so well located. We enjoyed Storyland, the pools at Nordic Village, and visiting Diana’s Baths. We’d love to return next summer!

We had the best time staying here! It was perfect for a family of four, two of which are small children. The house was clean, organized, and exactly as described in listing. Location is amazing for local attractions. Nordic Village amenities were a huge plus! I’ll be keeping this one favorites for future family vacations!

The cottage was cute and cozy. It was pleasantly clean. We did wish we did not have to provide linens and towels. There was also a lot of moisture in the cottage. Perhaps a dehumidifier would be great in the location.

This is a great little cabin for two couples or a small family. Two good sized bedrooms. To comfortably sleep five, a fully outfitted kitchen with dishwasher, a comfortable living room to relax in after a fun filled day exploring the area, a nice covered porch with plenty of seating, and a mudroom to leave your shoes so you aren't tracking dirt through the cabin! It's tucked away with a few other cottages on a small side road with very little traffic, but it's very conveniently located. It's a two minute drive from Storyland, 5 minutes to Grant's (grocery store) and a few restaurants in Glen and from Jackson as well, and a short drive (not more than 20 minutes) from North Conway. The ability to use the amenities of Nordic village across the street (indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs, game room, pond with boats and fire pit with nightly fires in the summer) was a huge plus as well. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, plates, cups, and utensils, and the dishwasher made clean up a breeze! The cabin was very clean and tidy upon arrival and while you have to provide your own bedsheets, there were plenty of pillows, two for each person. There was even a bed rail in one bedroom which was great because we came with a toddler (first cabin I've stayed in that had one which is a really nice touch). If your looking for a place to stay in the North Conway/Bartlett/Jackson area, this is definitely worth considering!

This is our second year staying at one of Peg’s cabins, and this year was just as good as the last. It is in a great location, close to story land, Jackson, Glen, and North Conway. The pools are great and so is the little pond that you can take a little row on. This fit our young family of 5 just fine ( ages 7,5 and 3). There is so much to do we weren’t in the house much. Peg was very accommodating, and even brought us birthday candles for our youngest’s birthday cake. She is an excellent host, and while we brought everything we needed there were plenty of things in the cabin to help make our stay great. We will definitely be coming back next year.

This was the absolute best vacation home for our family! My son adored it, was so close to StoryLand, immaculately clean and adorably decorated. We didn’t want to leave! The host was so gracious and accommodating to us, we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Before we left we were already planning our return trip, because it was so peaceful we just didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much Peg! Our son had a fantastic birthday and we made the best memories as a family!

We really enjoyed our stay at Peg’s cabin. It is cute and clean, with everything we needed for a weeklong stay. The wood stove kept us cozy and the kids really loved the nearby amenities including indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis. The location was close to skiing and the charming town of Jackson. Would stay here again.

Your cabin was so incredibly cozy. We had fun skiing during the day and loved relaxing by the wood stove at night. We had fun playing ping pong in the game room across the street. Definitely would like to come back to this cabin next winter. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay here.

Great communication from the host... Perfect place to rest after hiking. We were aware of what we needed to bring... Otherwise, it had everything else we needed. Very lovely stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was made even better when we found the bed rails on night two to help keep our toddlers in their twin beds. Looking forward to another visit in the future!
