Perfect location being just steps from the ocean. Our family loved the views from every room and the beautiful deck for family meals. The home was well stocked in the kitchen and the washer and dryer were very useful. The upstairs twin beds were extremely uncomfortable (I *wouldn't* recommend an adult sleeping on those beds) and the upstairs rooms were quite chilly with a blasting AC. Overall fantastic home, location and island. We plan to return year after year.

We had a great time on Fripp Island. There were lots of deer and dolphins to see and we enjoyed exploring by golf cart. The house was clean and comfortable and the views from the back porch were amazing. We hope to rent this house again. Thank you Berta!

I’ve been coming to Fripp for 16 years and usually stay somewhere different every time. This is the best place I’ve stayed for beach views and accessibility!

Rudest owner I have ever encountered
I was going to let this incident go but it seems Berta cannot be the better person so I am forced to leave a review.
The AC was not working and when I explained that to her she became very defensive and condescending. She spoke to me as if I had done something wrong and was stupid and do not understand general airflow.
She told me I had an hour to pack up and leave which I said was not an option of course as this was a big planner family vacation.
Later she saw the temperature kept rising in the home and had a proper hvac technician come out and he replaced the broken part and the AC began to work properly.
Berta never reached out to apologize or admit she was wrong in her treatment or accusations.
I will never rent from Berta again, the house is in a great location but is lacking as well.
I discourage anyone from renting her properties.
We don’t treat people that are paying customers like that in the South.
We have been going to Fripp for 22 years and this is the worst rental experience with an owner we have ever had.

A very nice home.
When we arrived the view of the beach was awesome! The Master and the other bedrooms were perfect. I don't know if it was a simple communication error but we couldn't find extra toilet paper and had to buy some , that was a very minor problem. We also didn't realize would have to furnish foil wrap and cling wrap, again very minor. The host was very accomadating! A perfectly enjoyable week with all our children and grandchildren!!!

Amazing host
Amazing host. Everything was perfect she was easy to communicate with. It got cold all of the sudden and we needed the heat turned on, and after a 30 sec phone call the heat was on the house was stunning the view was perfection. All the beds were extremely comfortable. I can’t say enough about how perfect this home was.

This was one of the best houses we have stayed at on Fripp Island! The location was perfect! Kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were so comfortable I had to ask Berta the brand name! Berta was great to work with. She always kept us informed of the check in and check out process. The keyless entry quit working and she drove all the way to Fripp to replace it herself! You couldn’t ask for a better house or owner to work with! Definitely will stay there again!

The house was great. The views were amazing. Deer in the yard or on the beach every morning. House was nice. 3 bedrooms on main floor. Kids rooms upstairs. Beds could have been more comfortable. Overall great house! Had a wonderfully relaxing time. Would rent again. Would recommend.

Owner was great to work with! Right on top of everything! House is well equipped and had everything we needed for a week at the beach. The oceanfront home is perfect for a family. Between the ocean, resort pools and other amenities we could be busy or just chill and hang out.
