This is a beautiful property. We were lucky enough to meet the owner Jerry when we checked in. He shared the history of the property with us then provided a tour of the house too. The house was spotless. Everything was perfect ! Our only regret is that we didn’t schedule an extra day or two to stay longer and really enjoy the property and scenery as we were in town for a wedding that took up the weekend. If you can , book this VRBO ! You will really enjoy it .

The property was exactly as described. Very peaceful and we saw lots of wildlife. We had 10 adults in our group. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the excellent accomodations. The host was very nice and responded quickly with any questions we had. Our stay was perfect!

My family of 9 adults + 1 teen stayed at this property for 2 nights while having a wedding at nearby Norskadalen. The owner was very kind and met us in person to go over house rules/expectations. The house is incredibly beautiful and the kitchen well-stocked. The beautiful large yard was perfect for yard games. We enjoyed beautiful scenic views from the house. We regret not having time to use the firepit. Our hope is to return next fall to enjoy the colors:)

The house is beautiful, spacious, and perfectly located. The view out the windows was absolutely gorgeous especially at sunset. We heard owls hooting to each other in the hills as we waited for the stars to appear in the evening. Loved being able to cook meals from scratch for our group of 10, and dining at a table large enough for us all! The dishwasher made cleanup a breeze. It was amazing that only a 20 minute drive in various directions took us to all the places we wanted to visit.

We were in town for an event at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which is near the property, and were staying with 4 adults and a dozen children ages 13 and under. The outdoor space was incredible! The kids had so much space to run around! They especially enjoyed being able to fish in the creek. The house was lovely and very comfortable, even for our large group. It is not exactly set up for small children (no crib or high chairs, etc) but as long as you know that then you can bring your own gear and it's not a problem. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all our meals there. The hosts were very attentive, meeting us at the home for check-in and walking us through the house so that we would know where to find everything we needed. They have obviously put a lot of thought into making this property a great place to stay!

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway with the family. The house is in the best location, and not just because of the stunning scenery, but also due to its proximity to all of our planned outings. Joan and Jerry were fantastic with their communications for check in and questions, and they were able to make great recommendations for restaurants in the area. I would advise anyone to stay here. It was truly a perfect place for our family weekend. We highly recommend.

This is a beautiful property and located close to Lacrosse and many activities. Well stocked with cooking utensils. I’ve stayed in many Vrbos with my family group. This was our best. The owners greeted us and explained everything. I would certainly stay here again if we wanted to be in this area. It was very clean. Shampoo and soap for the washer was not provided.

Our family had our biannual get-together here. It was a great location! You feel very secluded out on the property, yet close to Lacrosse and other attractions (we went to a beautiful winery just 20 minutes away!). The fire pit was great for the evenings, and the massive yard was great for running around and playing games. The house was a fairly decent size for our group of 17 as well! Only downfall were the gnats, they were quite terrible, but that is something that can’t be controlled. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!

This was a great house for 12 adults to stay comfortably with enough bedrooms and bathrooms, dining room, and living room areas. Nice location - a short drive from La Crosse and the backyard was huge! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We mostly golfed so we did not spend a bunch of time at the place, but it was spacious and clean and everything worked. It had great views of the bluffs and the owner was very nice and helpful during the process.

We loved our stay at this house. The accomodations were perfect. House was clean and well maintained. Our grandchildren loved the big backyard. Nice fire pit for a fire. Very private and quiet location. Highly recommend.

Joan and Jerry have set the gold standard for a well-appointed home and excellent hospitality! We have stayed at a few home rentals in the past, and all were good, but this home was far beyond any of them. The kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms were perfect for 7 adults and 2 small children. The home is well-maintained, and the property is beautiful. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

This is the second year we’ve stayed here for a family reunion. The location is the #1 perk of the whole property. Set in a valley with bluffs surrounding it with a creek running through. Just beautiful! The house has enough bedrooms for us all with plenty of space for us to mingle. The owner was so nice in answering my questions …not just about the house but other questions I had about the area. I’m so glad we discovered this gem!

I’ve gone to this house twice with a small group of friends and it is absolutely perfect. The little hill valley that it’s located in is quite beautiful, it’s nice and quiet, the house is spacious and warm (we come in the winter), and the hosts are very helpful.

the place was clean and the house is equipped with everything you need to cook. the hills were perfect for sledding after we had some freezing rain. Also enjoyed hiking up the big hill. Al feeds the cats in a neighboring house and I had a nice visit with him as he gave me a history lesson regarding the owners and properties in the surrounding area.

Located on practically a private road - enjoy the serenity and peace of a wonderful location! The yard is MASSIVE - the pictures don't do it justice. The fire pit always provided a wonderful way to wind down each evening. Super clean house, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of amenities to make it a home away from home. Can't wait to return!
