Este condominio único es la unidad de alquiler más grande en The Landings. Con una entrada en la puerta principal que lo lleva hasta la parte trasera del edificio a su balcón privado con vista al río, la piscina y los muelles. La mayoría de las otras unidades de alquiler en este complejo tienen la mitad del tamaño o menos. The property is very clean and in a good neighborhood with close restaurant and store and with good views

Great centrally located condo, spent 8 days kayaking, finding wonderful restaurants and visiting friends. Check in was flawless, Joseph (the owner) text just to make sure we had no problems. He was easy to talk to and very helpful during the week, responding within minutes. Loved the loft bedroom with a half bath! Thank you for a wonderful and much needed vacation. We will happily stay here again when in the area!

Very peaceful and convenient location with view of the river. Accurate pictures. Older property with some updates but clean and comfortable. Great king size beds large tv and well stocked kitchen. Dunnellon is a nice small town with several good restaurants and wonderful state park on Rainbow Springs many other good activities nearby.

Spent a month in the condo, which was water front. Saw alligators, turtles, all sorts of wild life. A peaceful time spent walking along the Blue Run trails, and Rainbow River park. Kayaked several times up and down the Withacoochie and the Rainbow rivers. The most beautiful and
magical experience! The condo was a perfect place to stay for a nice calm getaway.

Exactly what we needed

Relaxing family week in a quiet natural environment. Property was clean and fully functional, easy parking and walking distance to multiple restaurants. Nice pool and hot tub, easy access with provided kayaks to Rainbow river. Great communication with the owners, who were timely responsive to questions about the neighborhood.

I can’t say enough about this place. The location, the old school, slower pace of life feel that the unit and condo had. It was a wonderful relaxing family place. The size of the unit was perfect for us as a family of 5 where we all had our own space but also cozy enough to catch some time together. The porch overlooking the river being screened in was a major plus because outside of that screen bugs are waiting, but that’s the river! The proximity to both the rainbow river and crystal river was ideal as we can for both. The owner was very attentive and communicated clearly and often enough, check in was easy also. There were some nice things in the condo when we arrived like snacks and coffee and a float so we left a few behind as well. We look forward to booking again.

Very convenient could walk to restaurants and shopping. Condo was a little dated but met our needs to get away and relax. We sat on the dock in the afternoons and watched turtles, birds and small alligators in their natural habitat. Pool was convenient well maintained and quite..

The condo was perfect; everything we could need was provided, and the unit was clean and tasteful. The other residents/guests were friendly and helpful, but unobtrusive. Steve the HOA president is a super nice guy and keeps the property perfectly pleasant. Joe (owner) is very responsive to any question. The river is as beautiful as ever, and the easy drive to Silver Springs, Ocala, Cedar Key are all must-sees; the 2-hr drive to Tarpon Springs, Clearwater Beach etc are well worth the drive. Once again, a perfect visit to Joe's condo!

I enjoyed my stay here. I especially enjoyed watching all of the wild life out on the water. It was the perfect little retreat from “life”. Joe was a wonderful host. The house had everything I needed to cook, clean and feel like I was home away from home. I will definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect for those who enjoy kayaking, golf and good food. Joe's 2 kayaks made it easy to launch right from the condo complex and explore the beautiful Withlacoochee and Rainbow rivers. Several affordable golf courses within 30 minutes. Many great restaurants to try. The condo had everything we needed and was spotless. Joe was easy to contact and quick to respond to the few questions we had. Highly recommend!

Nice quiet getaway on the river
The property was exactly as listed. The host was very helpful and check on us throughout our stay to confirm everything was to our liking. The view from the balcony is lovely and having it screened in to prevent debris and pests made that space even more useful for us. The entire condo complex was very peaceful and everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely book this unit again when we return to the area.

Christmas vacation
The property was great. Our family had an amazing time. We enjoyed the pool, and even did some fishing. Residents we did meet were very friendly. Owner was always available if we had any questions. Definitely will rent again

Wonderful location
The condo is conveniently located in Dunnellon along the river within walking distance of several restaurants. There is a nice screened balcony and access to the pool, hot tub, patio and decking areas, and use of two kayaks. The folks who are owners were friendly but not intrusive. The pool was usually empty and very comfortable. The unit is quiet and well appointed. The folks at the property are generally older, so as others have said, this may not be the best place for small children. There are quite a few flights of stairs so that may be an issue for some folks. The decor and furnishings are a bit dated but still very functional and the beds are comfortable. A washer & dryer in the unit is a nice convenience. The owner (Joe) was very helpful and readily accessible. Check-in is a breeze. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this rental.

Not what we expected
Not really a place for children. Unless you are very fit too many stairs. The place was clean and the view from the porch was lovely. The real gators sunning on the deck very interesting. The manager was available whenever you needed.

Awesome location to so many springs!
I enjoyed this property for it's good location to so many springs in the area. Others have reviewed about the nosy neighbors in the complex. I on the other hand liked the fact they were looking out so closely for the property. I felt very safe leaving our 4 kayaks on the trailer with no fear of them being messed with. It's was kind of like having our own little security crew. The complex could use some updates but it was a clean complex and great for the money.

Not for the youthful
This location is great but the property feels like a retirement community. There was no youthful aura to the place. The "live-ins" weren't very friendly and were constantly dropping hints that they were watching us. One even called our renter and stated we has more tenants than was allowed, which was untrue. Another ran our niece out of the hot tub stating she had to be 12 years old to use it, there's no sign posted to validate that. The biggest disappointment was the one that started he had "something better than a flashlight to light us up with" if we messed with his boat as he stood on his porch alonh with the "pool police" watching us fish from the only docks available. The unit itself was ok but the furniture and appliances are from the 80s and need replacing. And there's stairs everywhere. Soooo many stairs.

Enjoyed our week at the condo
Joe was a fantastic and very communicative host. Enjoyed using the two kayaks and the condo was well equipped. We spent the most time at the pool and eating lunch on the picnic tables on the condo premises. There were two guest bar-b-ques, which we used one for a nice Memorial day grill out with the family. We rented two condos side by side for the family and this worked out perfectly. This condo had all the basics you need , but nothing fancy or special. The condo was definitely well worn, so you could say 'kid friendly'.

Great fishing, boating & day trips, friendly residents and secure location
We stayed for 8 days at The Landings, and loved every minute! This was our 3rd vacation at The Landings, and Joe's condo is perfect - spacious and comfortable, very clean, well furnished and every single thing we could need was provided. The pool was perfect and we had the entire pool area to ourselves whenever we went. We brought our boat and were given a great boat slip right in front of our condo, and had no qualms leaving our gear in the boat overnight. Joe, the Owner, is super responsive and very easy to work with. Steve, the on-site HOA President, went above & beyond to help us with our boat & trailer needs, and even shared the latest fishing tips and reports. The Withlacoochee River is stunningly beautiful, with bonus great fishing! We caught several trophy bass and plenty of fish altogether. We had was an easy 2-hour drive south to Clearwater Beach, Honeymoon Island and Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks, and 45 minutes to Ocala National Forest, and maybe an hour drive north to quaint and pleasant Cedar Key where we had some incredible seafood at Steamers Clam Bar & Grill on the waterfront. Our condo at The Landings was a beautiful, peaceful home base for all our Florida adventures, and we highly recommend it!

Perfect getaway
Owner was extremely accommodating and quick to answer my questions before and during my stay. Rental was nice and clean, and boat access was right next to the rental.

Very relaxing setting
We came to Dunnellon for a week to do some work and take a mini-vacation. The condo we rented was a perfect setting for our needs, clean and just the right size for a couple or two.
The town itself was a delight with several good restaurants and markets to provision the condo. Make sure to visit the Rainbow River, there is a state park, and numerous private concerns that rent kayaks, canoes and inflatable tubes for the public.

Relaxation
Condo was excellent. Stay was so peaceful and quiet. Loved being right on the river. Slow easy pace felt like stepping back to old Florida. Plenty of things for the kids to do. Rainbow river was awesome. What else can I say? It was perfect. Would absolutely do it again. Thank you so much Joe. Best trip I've had in a long time.

We had a nice stay in the condo with family. It supplied all we needed and had good communication with the owner.

Not for us
We visit the US from the UK and have rented in the US on at least 30 occasions over the past 20 years. We left this rental after 2 nights. The riverside setting is superb, but for us the whole building is in need of a good power wash and some tender loving care. Taking our luggage in we met a neighbour, who said, “what made you come here?”. At that time we gave that comment little thought, having just driven down from SC. The condo was clean, with nice flooring and comfortable beds, but for us, I’m afraid the negatives overcame all of that very quickly. The condo fittings need updating badly. The kitchen is “well used”, the refrigerator had mould around the door sealing rubber and the freezer compartment had a rusty back panel. Sliding wardrobe doors are apt to leave their tracks and curtains do not close properly. In the bedrooms the furniture was poor, several drawers are no longer as “together” as they should be! We had problems with the Broadband dropping out and we would have preferred Cable rather than the streaming service, but we appreciate this latter is a personal choice.
On reflection we are still not sure what the neighbour we met was trying to say to us, but, after our actual experience we are now asking ourselves the same question!

The Landings
Perfect spot for us to stay while visiting a family member in the area. The view of the river is wonderful and love the pool. Had a couple of questions while we were there and got immediate response from the owner both times.

Great Old Florida Location!
Cute, clean and comfy condo right on the Withlacoochie River! It has everything you need in the kitchen & the beds are very comfortable. We especially loved sitting on the screened balcony for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails, watching alligators & turtles swim by! We were able to dock our boat there but if you don't have one, you can rent a boat right across the street! It's just a short boat ride to the crystal clear Rainbow River. We also walked to a number of local restaurants where everyone is friendly & helpful. If you want a change from the theme park hoards, this is the place to try!

Very relaxing
The grounds, pool and dock were great! The unit could use some updating but had everything we needed. We would stay again. Rainbow Springs was a short boat ride and a couple of restaurants were close by via car, walk or river. We did get charged $1500 deposit by VBRO and the owner says he only required $500. However, we did receive the refund back.It was a very relaxing trip!
