Beautiful view of lake

Very nice place, close to the lake with a beautiful view and very quiet and peaceful, would definitely stay here again

Went for a small girl's trip, we found beach glass right over the hill. House was in a perfect spot, we built a bonfire for smores, and sat up talking. The only thing i would recommend is owners have bathroom hand towel or guest bring one. Make sure you have your own towels to dry off as well. We had ours because we planned on swimming. Also owners please try and fix middle of blinds in living room. I took a beautiful photo i would like to send to hang up in your property? (We also added small heart rock to fireplace mantle) ty for renting out your house. We are talking about coming back again with our family. The Hazzard Family ❤️

My first impression was old torn rug and broken screen door and then the SMELL! This was NOT a cleaning chemical smell! If that’s what the property gets cleaned with they may need to look into something else. The property was clean however just smelled This was a smell you you get when the furnishings/decor are 30-50yrs old. I had to go purchase a scented candle and room deodorizer. The exception was couch and TV . The dining room light had 1 out of 4 bulbs working, the bathroom has a Bistro pic with person dining over toilet? There is mold around blue tub and the light has no cover. The bathroom switch has to be fiddled with to stay on. Light switches were odd too. Lots of nonworking ones? There are several things that with a little extra thought/attention to details it could be much nicer. The view was PERFECT! It was very quiet and peaceful. There is a small hill to get to water that the elderly may have a hard time. The location was also great with short drive to the little shops. I wouldn’t recommend walking because there is no path or sidewalks until you get a bit down road.

My family enjoyed their stay. This property is very private and close to everything. We would definitely rent here again!

Nice spacious rental. We had 4 adults and one child and never felt cramped. The location is great with views of the sunset that are second to none. Really is a great place to stay and the owner was easy to contact and was always friendly. My only discomfort was that the beds seemed smaller than my queen bed at home and hurt my back a little but I have back issues so this is common for me. I'd definitely stay there again. The location was perfect for us because it was really close to the strip at Geneva-on-the-Lake and Ashtabula was just a short drive.

This is my second time staying with this property absolutely love it! love the location beautiful view of the water for the sunset. They have a grills and fire pits as well! and it’s only a couple minutes away from the strip! The owner and property manger are very kind and made things very easy!

The property was very clean and the instructions were very clear for check in/out and house rules. The location is right on the lake and the cottage is much more spacious than the photos show. Our girls trip was very enjoyable and the owners were very easy to communicate with! Thanks for a great stay!

If you are looking for a place to just sleep you are at the right place.. comfortable beds and clean...Barely the basics..entrance outside greets you with spiderwebs and dead bugs.. "the apartment towards the water" is extremely misleading.. it is the furthest from the water, you can see it but if you think you will be towards the water you will be disappointed. I wasn't there to watch TV but it would be nice if it worked. Also good luck finding a light switch that actually worked. Apron walking in in the dark, flipping all 4 switches and nothing comes on , I thought the power was off..All in all it worked out but would probably not return.

This is our second time here. This is a great location for us and we had a comfortable stay. It is reasonably priced for the beach access and view that you get.

Very nice place to stay. Easy beach access. Nice picnic and fire pit areas. My daughter in law lost a diamond earring and we went back after checkout and the owners were there cleaning and found it !!! Would highly recommend and thanks again Megan !!

We had a great time at Thunder On The Strip , great location, and plenty of space. Close enough yet far enough away from the sounds of the night life. Very comfortable and would definitely stay there again.

I can’t say enough good things about ‘Shore to Please’. I rented this for a girl’s weekend get-away. It was our first time at this property & I would definitely recommend. The interior was spacious with 3 bedrooms each having its own ceiling fan and soft sheets. Everything worked great from the continuous hot water, air conditioning and all of the appliances. The lake views were beautiful. It is located 5 minutes to the GOTL strip and also close to Ashtabula Harbor, but far enough away that you can enjoy a peaceful nights sleep. The owners & management were prompt to answer messages and great to work with. Two thumbs up!

This was a great experience. The place was very clean and in a great location. The manager was very nice and helpful.

We enjoyed this location. Great beach for the kids to swim and play and fantastic view of sunsets with a fire pit. The house was perfect for our needs, just be mindful of noise level for possible tenants below. It was clean and beds were very comfortable. Never got to meet the owners but they seemed very nice in communication and answered all of our questions right away. Would definitely return

The property seemed exactly as listed, had everything we could need and great space inside. Nice private beach area, though lots of pebbles so bring water shoes. Great open areas outside for frisbee or other games, and plenty of fire pit areas for s’mores and picnic tables. The view on top of the hill is beautiful and we were able to watch the sunset every night. The unit we stayed in “Shore to Please” is above another unit though, thankfully nobody was there until our last evening because with 3 small kids it would have been kind of a bummer to have to walk on egg shells and keep them quiet trying to enjoy our own stay as well. All in all great place for a get away to GOTL.

This was our first visit to Geneva on the Lake. We appreciated staying right on the lake and having space for our kids to run and play. The fire pits and picnic tables were nice touches. The food served in town is excellent, so we did very little cooking. Management was very friendly. The on-site maintenance staff was able to quickly repair a ceiling fan when needed. We did find the smallest trace of mouse excrement by the fireplace, but NOT in the immaculate kitchen. The owner provided us with mouse traps when we asked. We trapped one mouse the second night of our stay and no more after that. Overall, the space was very clean. There are many nice lodging options on this property and we look forward to returning in the future.

The managers were nice and friendly. The property is right on the lake. The beds were comfortable...but that is basically where the pros end. We all were extremely disappointed to find out our unit wasn't the one we thought we had rented, because the add and pictures are not very specific. Upon entering this unit, Shore to Please, the smell smacks you in the face. None of the light switches just inside the main door worked. The broom and dust pan were left in the living room. There was garbage in almost every drawer and cupboard. Hair in the bathtub. MOUSE EXCREMENT in the kitchen drawers! Dead bugs stuck to the old car air freshener that was hanging from the kitchen fan. This unit is unfortunately above the first unit, which we didn't know at first. In the kitchen, there is a locked door that goes down to the unit below. At one point, the people in the bottom unit came up those stairs to the locker door...meaning they were now technically in MY unit, knocked and said we were too loud. Of course we quieted down....but this absolutely invaded our privacy. Specially having no idea they even had access to that door. The view of the lake would have been amazing if they had moved the giant excavator out of the middle of the lane. And finally, there is an AC/heat panel in this unit. But what they don't tell you is that it controls the temperature of both unit 1 and 2. We of course turned the AC to as cool as we could get it....and then received a phone call from the manager that the people in unit 1 were too cold. Was asked to put the AC back to 70. We had 5 adults in our unit to their 2 downstairs. To summarize, for what we paid, it absolutely wasn't worth it. We would rent off the managers again, just not at this location. Take pride in your business! The little finishing touches (like not having mouse poop in the unit or hair in the bath) honestly really matter to the comfort for a lot of people.

This property had an excellent, private, park like setting. It was close to the strip for those interested but its value is in its own beautiful setting with beach access, lake views, and private picnic table/charcoal grills/fire pits. What is included and what is not is clear in the listing. I would highly recommend this spot if staying in the area.
