The house is in a dream location - a mile from the boardwalk, 5 min drive from Publix, and perfectly set between the intracoastal and the beach. We had a great time using pool, amazing array of beach toys, and kayaks at the house. We rented wagons from Pleasure Island Rentals that made getting to and from the beach in one trip (with 6 adults and 5 young kids) a breeze!
The tenants before us seemed to have been a bit rough on the house, so we noted a few repairs needed, but Jessica and Justus were extremely communicative and accommodating, keeping any potential disruptions to our stay extremely minimal. Would be an absolute pleasure to stay here again.

We were in town for a sand soccer tournament and found this house to stay at. The pool was great, the space was great, everything was clean, the rental owner was very polite and helpful over the phone and check in was early and easy! Really great decks all over for multiple views. Some of the things had some beach wear and tear from the salt water, the outdoor chairs, shutters, etc. which is to be expected. Overall, the group had a great time.

The house was so comfortable for us. I have six children who live all over the country. We hadn’t been able to get together for 3 years since their father’s funeral. It was big enough for all 6 families. We had a heated pool. 2 short blocks from the ocean. It was great.

Beautiful property with plenty of room for 26 guests. We had a little trouble with the kitchen ovens, but we were able to resolve it by finding the circuit breaker. Not the fault of the property owner, but we experienced King tides which made us have to park a few streets over and wade through water to get to the unit. We loved that it is so close to the beach and and a short drive to so many restaurants. We hope to bring the girls team in the spring.

Our stay here was phenomenal. It was a great amount of space for our stay. The location was perfect near a family-friendly beach and yet plenty to do nearby. Only 30 minutes from Wilmington. The property manager was quick to respond. The post clearly and accurately represented the property. I would highly recommend booking this location.

Overall, it was very good. The elevator was old and a bit scary, so we ended up hauling everything up and down the stairs. The fact we could not get back to our house in our vehicles after 10:00 p.m. due the roads flooding was a bit challenging. But on the bright side, the location to the beach and canal was a plus. We slept, fed and bathed 28 people with ease and made wonderful memories! We would recommend Blue Water Vista for a large group.

I can’t say enough good things about the house and the individuals who take care of it. First, the house is beautiful and is wonderful for a large family. Second, we had a few minor issues when we checked in, (our fault) and the property manager, Jessica, was a DREAM!! She was so responsive and helpful. The elevator door needed a little help and Justice came to the rescue the same day. He even stopped by later in the week to check on us!
We had the best week and my whole family loved the whole experience! We will definitely be back.

This house had enough room and space to house all are family and a couple of friends.
There was an elevator for my father who had knee surgery which was helpful.
We chose to use the kitchen on the upper floor as to watch the sunset on the deck every night.
The house was a short distance to the beach where we spent our time. Some used the pool. The hot tub was a great accessory.
We grilled every night.
The stairs are on the outside of the house and there are a few floors so we definitely got a workout in. It didn’t bother us tho.
The owners were quick to respond when we had questions.

This rental was perfect for the 20 teens and 4 adults we brought to the beach for lacrosse games. The 2 kitchens were perfect for all the snacks, meals, and gatorades. All the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The girls loved the heated pool and short walk to the beach! When our bus broke down and we couldn't leave on time, the manager was very kind and helpful. We will be back and I highly recommend this rental! It was perfect!

We rented the entire house for our family of 10 and a wedding rehearsal party with about 100 guests. We were all very comfortable and it accommodated everyone perfectly! The house is divided into two units, so you have to go outside the lower unit to walk up to the upper unit…at first I thought it might be an issue, but it wasn’t. Unfortunately, the weather turned did not cooperate, so that was the only issue having to go outside. I would 100% stay here again! Great location, hot tub, heated pool! Communication was perfect and fast! Don’t hesitate, especially if you have a big family and need plenty of space!

We had such an incredible experience staying at this property! The views were amazingly breathtaking and it was convenient to all spots (beach, fishing, attractions). Plenty of parking, the pool was a major plus, a perfect spot for a large family gathering. The property managers, Justus and Jessica, were very hands on, accommodating, attentive, and made our stay a five star experience! We hope to be back in the future.

Overpromised Underdelivered
I will start out by saying we met the owners upon arrival and they were great. Very nice and checking on the property themselves. However, the property manager left little to be desired.
We are very experienced in vacationing with family in larger houses but this one left us not wanting to return for several reasons.
1. There was only a fridge with an ice maker on one of the two floors and the one that had the water/ice maker didn’t work.
2. The kitchens are not well stocked at all and we had to keep going between the floors to get what we needed for each kitchen.
3. No internal staircase between the first and second floors makes it a very hard stay with small children.
4. It rained a lot the week we were there and we could barely enjoy the decks because water comes in on every level soaking the whole deck when it rains.
5. While it is very nice to have a pool, the size of the pool is pretty small for the amount of people the house can sleep.
6. While some beds were very comfortable other beds were extremely noisy and hard to sleep on. Especially the king on the first floor as well as the queen in the bunk room on first floor.
7. The washing machine needed cleaned out, it ruined/stained a few white shirts.
8. Check out was at 10am and people were there and ready to take action on the house at 8:45am.
9. While not the owner’s fault, when it rains too much the Canal Dr floods in front of the house and we had someone not even able to make it back to the house for several hours until water receded.
Overall we will not be returning to this house for all of the reasons listed above as well as our lack of desire to return to Carolina Beach in general.

Simply the best house
Eleven of us gathered to celebrate a birthday. The house was perfection (we rented the entire house). Spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, gorgeous views. The pool and hot tub were lovely and the kayak allowed us to explore the bay. The property managers responded in seconds to the few questions we asked (everything was so seamless we did not need to bug them about things!). Only thing to note: bring extra toilet paper. Not a big deal, of course. Would stay here again in a second if we plan another large gathering.

Fabulous family vacation!
The property was great for our family of 15. It was clean with all the amenities needed. The living rooms were spacious as well as the dining area which was great for social distancing. The weather was great so there was plenty of space on the balconies and at the pool area to relax and/or socialize in small numbers. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. The description of the property is very accurate. The owner and property manager were great to work with.

Big Place for a lot of friends
The house is actually 2 parts of a duplex. The first floor can only be accessed by stairs from the garage and the second floor and penthouse are accessed by an elevator or stairs. Moving from 1st floor to 2nd floor requires exiting the house and going up the stairs. there are two complete kitchens. plenty of utensils but most frying pans have seen better days. the furniture is comfortable and will accommodate everyone.
the Jacuzzis in the Bedrooms do not have jets. The hot tub was a little dirty and would not start when we got there, but a text to the owner had it quickly resolved. The beach was about a 3-5 min walk from the house. There appeared to be plenty of toys and beach items in the garage, but we did not use any. if you decide to come, be aware that the advertised price will go up a lot when all of the fees are added.

Great family house and location!
We rented the whole house for a vow renewal. The views from the top decks were incredible. Such an easy walk to either beach access nearby. Check in and check out was super easy. We had no need to contact property manager as everything worked, house was clean, and everything was organized.

Perfect long weekend with a large group
Great house! Spacious and very clean. Loved having the pool in the backyard in proximity to the beach was wonderful.

Spacious, needs work
House is spacious with large rooms and common spaces. Awesome sleeping space for a large family trip. Short walk to beach. Pool great for kids. Needed cleaning on arrival (sandy floors, beer cans on deck from prior group, etc). Compared to sleeping capacity, kitchens dont have enough dishware or utensils so ended up eating a number of meals on paper plates and plastic utensils or transferring between upstairs and downstairs kitchens. House furnishing and appliances seem budget-rate but serviceable. Strange things like units have DVD players but no remotes. House needs some work and outdoor pest (cockroach) control. Some of this expected for shared beach property but price-point is high for feel and amenities.
