This unit was super clean as is the whole property and very well managed. It has a million dollar view of Lake Charlevoix that more than makes up for the outdated well worn furniture and decor. The pull out bed in the living room is not comfortable for adults but probably totally fine for kids. Had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. I came from Texas so even though the weather was cool and cloudy most days it was a welcome break from the Texas heat.

We took a chance and stayed here based on a recommendation from a friend. We were so happy with the whole experience! The room with private patio and water view were just what we needed for a relaxing get away. We’ll definitely go back!

The condo had everything going for it. Right on Lake Charlevoix, the view at sunset was gorgeous. The bed was very comfy.

As locations go, this couldn’t have been more ideal to just open the door and walk onto the beach. However, we were so disappointed to find such outdated...well, everything. Considering the price, some quick and easy changes would go a long way to freshen up the space, such as removing the wallpaper and painting a lighter color. Also some general maintenance was needed throughout like tightening outlet covers and the one behind the headboard could start a fire so we unplugged the lamp. While my kids thought the sleeper sofa was great, it has definitely seen better days and had very little padding left on the mattress. So while the beach is wonderful and steps away from the unit, the living quarters are subpar for the cost but with new furniture and a fresh coat of paint it could easily warrant a 5-star review.

Great location for the general Petosky area. Condo was as pictured, clean, and literally steps to the beach. Walked to downtown shops and restaurants. Quiet at night. Plan to look about renting again in the summer.

We moved to Florida 6 years ago and haven’t been to Boyne City in about 8 years. We had traveled to the Upper Peninsula and then back down through towns we used to spend the summers. On a whim we stopped in Boyne City on our last night and found this place to stay by chance. It was one of the highlights of our trip. To be able to walk out of our room and be on the beach and swim was an unexpected surprise. The sunset was right out the door. The too. Was pleasant although it could use some updating. Really wonderful time.

The unit was clean and quiet. It could use an update, but it was still an amazing little condo. The water is very close, and we sat on the patio every morning and evening just to watch the sunrise and set each day. It was a great little getaway.

I’ve stayed here before but not at this unit. I mentioned to the manager upon leaving I left my comments with him. I found what was to be a dead bed bug when I went to turn in my first night. If it wasn’t for that and that a pot lid wasn’t cleaned in the inside and wasn’t detected before arrival I would have rated higher scores. I had pictures of the bug and showed him.

The rental company is very responsive. The unit itself (the 2nd we’ve stayed in) was a bit dated. It’s clean and cared for, but it felt like staying at a grandparents house. I preferred my last rental.

Property needs to be updated. Floors and furniture should be washable surfaces. No washer/dryer in the unit. With that being said, the location is prime with a beautiful view of Lake Charlevoix. I would suggest vacationers look for units within this complex that are better kept.

Troubles fadeaway on the patio. Celebrating my mom‘s 87th birthday this room was perfect. Being on the first floor and able to walk out on the patio and watch the beautiful sunsets couldn’t have been better. Probably one of the older units (updated) but I had everything we needed

Nice one bedroom place next to the lake. Great location to downtown.
Older place and furniture.. no ice machine and no ice trays for freezer. The shower head sprayed everywhere in the bathroom and needs to be fixed. The checkin book said daily maid service to take out garbage, new towels, etc. we stayed 3 nights and this did not happen once at all. We had no new towels and did not shower the last day as towels were needed to clean up shower head spray day before. The maid left an envelope on counter for rating them and tip. The envelope came with all the next ratings pre circled before our arrival
