Nuestro hogar acogedor es el equilibrio perfecto entre sentirse como en casa y estar de vacaciones. Tenemos una enorme terraza soleada que incluye una bañera de hidromasaje para 6 personas, barbacoa y una gran cantidad de asientos / mesa de picnic con vistas a Northstar Ski Resort. Tenemos un camino de entrada enorme con mucho estacionamiento. Nuestra casa es soleada y abierta, 2 dormitorios en el piso inferior, un maestro que tiene una cama queen y un sofá cama grande y grandes armarios, el otro tiene literas con un completo en la parte inferior, también hay un baño completo y sala de lavandería, una chimenea de leña y una terraza acristalada, este piso está abierto al nivel superior que contiene una gran cocina con todas las comodidades, dejamos las especias y la cocina esencial para su uso, la cocina tiene un bar con capacidad para 3 personas, gran despensa y nevera espacio. Nuestra agua está fuera del grifo pero también se ha filtrado de la nevera y tenemos agua caliente instantánea. Arriba, contiene un dormitorio principal con una cama king size, chimenea, televisión de pantalla plana y baño con doble lavabo doble que también tiene una ducha de vapor de granito. Tenemos una segunda habitación en el piso de arriba que se usa para la habitación de nuestro bebé y, si necesita una cuna, es bienvenida, aunque no tiene una cama de tamaño completo (no hemos incluido eso en nuestro recuento general de horas de sueño). También hay un medio baño adicional en el piso de arriba. Nuestra sala de estar y el comedor están abiertos y soleados, la mesa de comedor tiene capacidad para 6 personas. Tenemos un televisor de pantalla plana de 55 'y cable. ¡tenemos más de 50 dvds entre los que puedes elegir, y también una cantidad infinita de videos de snowboard! Tenemos WI-FI de alta velocidad, y si eres un jugador como nosotros, tenemos muchos juegos de mesa y cartas para elegir. The hosts were fantastic communicators; even though they were several time zones away, they made sure ahead of time we knew how to reach them, etc.
The house and property were beautiful and highly functional. We had two families - 4 adults and 3 kids (5-6 years old) and we all loved it. Great kitchen, comfortable living space, cozy bedrooms, and wonderful extras - hot tub, steam shower, etc. Highly recommend this VRBO.

This home is exceptional for families with elementary school-aged children, fun amenities for adults and children! Lots of games & toys, plus, HOT TUB!
Hosts were incredible in helping us to navigate our travel home in the middle of a snowstorm, interstate closures, etc...in the end we were all very comfortable and safe despite challenging weather!

Excellent home in a winter wonderland! Quiet easily accessible neighborhood, close to downtown Truckee, Northstar, and Boreal. Excellent host anticipating all of our needs and extremely responsive in the middle a major storm front that dropped 3ft of snow. Their hospitality made our Holiday vacation comfortable and memorable. Home comfortably sleeps 8 as advertised. Lots of room for dinning and lounging!

This was an awesome trip! The house is phenomenal. Very comfortable for our group of 4 adults/2 kids. The hot tub was awesome after a day of snowboarding. The neighborhood is great. The owner was extremely communicative and helpful. We got snowed in and the neighborhood lost power for half a day during a large storm, but the wood burning stove kept us very warm and toasty. I will definitely be coming back!

The Best White Christmas!

Andy and Amber are the friendliest and most responsive hosts we had the pleasure to stay with.
Andy made the whole process of booking, arrival and stay enjoyable. He is open, giving, friendly and sporty like no one else. His suggestions of what to do around the area are fantastic and his knowledge of the history of Tahoe is superb.

Great house with amazing views! Andy (host) was very accommodating and even plowed the driveway for us the morning after it snowed. We skied every day so it was nice to come back to the hot tub on the deck! We will definitely be back.

We stayed over Christmas and were delighted by the ceiling height (tall!) Christmas tree, and other festive touches including outdoor Christmas lights, especially on the Grizzly. The house is very comfortable and welcoming, I particularly loved the little sunroom downstairs where I could read and watch the snow fall. And everyone should try the hot tub while it’s snowing! Overall, this was one of our best Christmas holidays, we all had a wonderful time. Thank you Andy and Amber.

Best trip ever!
What a wonderful experience for all six of us. My heart broke a little bit as we were checking out, I wanted so badly to stay there. Andy has everything set up so perfectly and it feels like home with lots of amenities. He was so generous and very easy to communicate with. You will love this vacation rental, we all give it two thumbs up! The location is just heavenly. The home is loved and you can feel it. We hope to return next year. I highly recommend this home for your trip to Truckee or Tahoe. Even Reno is close! We feel so lucky to have been in Andy’s home, thank you! 💯

Best house ever!!
My girlfriends and I stayed at the Finch’s beautiful home for my 40th birthday, and we couldn’t have had a better time! From even before securing the booking, they were super helpful and accommodating. The home was just as we expected it from the pictures. We even talked about it on the way home; how not only was the home beautiful, comfortable, and in a great location, it just has a really positive energy throughout! Cool art, great deck, and all the neat touches inside and out! Great sound system too! Our only regret was that we didn’t book more nights!
We will definitely be back, and we all highly, highly recommend this property!

Fabulous Truckee Rental!
This is beautiful home with lots of space to spread out and be comfortable! The home is clean and well-maintained with modern touches. Great outdoor deck complete with a BBQ and hot tub. The home is located close to downtown Truckee and a quick trip over the hill to King's Beach. The Finch family's communication was consistent and timely always offering help and answering questions. I highly recommend renting this home!

Perfect Family Getaway
With everything going on right now, my family and I have been needing to get out of town and just find a place to relax and this house was exactly what we needed. The house is in such a great location with privacy and the views were spectacular. My 8 yr old daughter absolutely loved all the amenities (swing, sandbox, ping pong table, bunk beds) and was super sad we had to leave. The hot tub and grill were a HUGE hit and we literally only left the house to go to the store. The owner Andy was so helpful and easy to get a hold of, I was never left trying to figure out anything for longer than a minute. The Finches were very welcoming and made my family feel right at home. I only hope that all of my rentals going forward are as friendly and accommodating as Andy was. If I could give 10 stars I would! I definitely RECOMMEND this property!!!

Idyllic spot
This home is immaculate and welcoming from the second you arrive. And for us, with an infant and a toddler, having a full crib made a huge difference. The grounds outside are almost too good to be true - so much kid-friendly space for a range of ages! We almost didn’t need to leave the property, but of course we tackled several hikes (and have Andy our host to thank for amazing recs). This space far exceeded our expectations and we made fantastic memories as a family. Thank you Andy and Amber for your hospitality!

Fantastic home - easy access to everything!
How does one really review a perfect place, wonderful owners, great access to everything? With 5-stars, of course! Would give more if we could. Andy and Amber were absolutely wonderful hosts, even checking in with us when a big storm was approaching to offer assistance if needed. The highlights of the home for us included lots of living space, great dining area, steam shower (ahhhhhh), hot tub on the deck, comfy beds, and privacy. The location of the home in Truckee meant easy access to every ski resort we love (we went to a different one each day!), a short drive to Safeway and wonderful restaurants in downtown Truckee. If you're looking for a great place in the area, we wholeheartedly recommend this great home that has really delightful owner/hosts.

Super Fun Weekend!!!
Thank you, Andy and Amber! The home was welcoming and spacious for our two families during our stay. The kids all enjoyed exploring the outside yard area (that bear!!), the ping pong table, and especially the pump track!!! :) We were in Truckee for a 3-day lacrosse tournament so it was nice to come back and soak in the hot tub at the end of a busy day. Our favorite part was relaxing on the gorgeous patio and taking in the views of Martis!! Fully stocked cook's kitchen and BBQ made mealtime a breeze. Whatever we needed, Andy was quick to respond. Such a beautiful home with a really great vibe!!! :)

Great vacation for ski week.
Thanks to Andy and Amber for the wonderful week off of school. The house is beautiful and the hot tub on the deck is the icing on the cake after a long day out in the snow. House is very clean and kitchen is well stocked. Great for kids as there are toys, puzzles, and books already there. Like previous reviews, the attentiveness of Andy is above and beyond; he even texted to ask us if we needed snow removal after a storm came through but luckily, we didn't. House is close to downtown Truckee and Donner Skihill (which is great for kids) and 25 minutes from Squaw Valley. Would definitely stay here again!

The perfect place for Christmas in Tahoe
Thanks to Andy and Amber Finch, we had a wonderful Christmas. They had set up a Christmas tree, and the blue bear outside welcomed us. Thank you for the bottle of wine, the steam shower AND the hot tub! We had a great time.

Exceptional All Around Experience!
Home is beautiful, very close to downtown Truckee and a easy drive to any of the local ski resorts. Andy could not have been easier to work with and would highly recommend for any season.

Wonderful house in a very quiet area. Hot tub was strong enough to stay hot in sub-zero weather, towels & utensils well-stocked, and the beds were very comfy.

amazing comfortable home in perfect location!
We had a great long weekend at the home af Amber and Andy. The house was super clean, very comfortable, and one of the most well stocked rental kitchens we have found.
The best part of our stay was the incredibly "host" quality that Andy had. He was available to answer any questions, from the moment we were interested in renting. He also wanted us to LOVE to stay there, and was happy to accommodate any needs we had. We did LOVE it!
The location is right outside of Truckee with easy access to the town, and the highway. Extremely quiet neighborhood!

Beautiful Truckee Home
Andy and Amber have a beautifully decorated, large Truckee home that they share with others occasionally. Because it is their own home it is well stocked and ready to go, from the wood stove that heats the whole house to the kitchen with ample condiments. We so enjoyed spending X-mas week there, with new snow everywhere and entertainment of all kinds close by. Andy is very attentive and helpful on the phone and with email.

Excellent house and host!
We couldn't be more pleased with our stay at Andy's house. Not only was he a gracious host, but the house was as good as advertised. Among the many highlights:
- Great wood stove to heat the whole house. Actually pretty fun to operate.
- Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we could have wanted.
- The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable. Memory foam!
- All the electronics were very up to date and the sound system was awesome.
- Great neighborhood. People were extremely friendly out on the street.
- Living room furniture was very cozy and comfortable.
- Plenty of natural light in the apartment made staying inside on cold days very pleasant.
But probably the best part of the stay was Andy's responsiveness to all our concerns. I never waited more than one minute for him to respond to a request. In short, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable vacation home in Tahoe.
