My husband & I were island hopping for our birthdays. This was the only condo we rented & it definitely had the best view! Exactly as pictured. A lot of great extras for our use. We only used 1 of the 2 bedrooms. Parking was simple every day. The grounds keeper is dedicated. He has his daily routine & does a great job at keeping the pool & pool area very clean!

Great condo and convenient! No AC necessary!

The view from the condo was just beautiful! The sound of the waves were amazing. When the tide went out we went exploring the rocks and loved watching the little crabs scurrying around. The location was great. We could walk to restaurants and shopping easily or Uber to farther spots when we got tired. The condo was well equipped with all you would need.

Check in process was shoddy as no access code received prior to arrival Emails sent requesting code were unanswered As there is no office had to rely on the staff who were managing the other apartments to track down the resident manager to get access code

We could walk everywhere ,waterfront and beach .

The best equipped place we’ve ever stayed at and fantastic ocean views. Everything was easy and owners were responsive to our calls. Only slight issue was lack of AC in the apartment and it was fairly humid while we were in Kona. Every room had a fan which helped but it was still warm in the apartment.

Beautiful views on the balcony. Waves crashing all night (no need for a sleep machine!) Well appointed kitchen, linens, bathroom. Very clean. Fast response from the property owner to questions. Lack of AC was the only downside—not because it was hot, but because it was humid. (We knew there was no AC going in). Nice walk to town through the street closer to the beach—Ali’I Drive is busy but also walkable. Overall a great experience!! Thank you!

The the entire experience including the property and its location was all excellent.

We visit the Islands often for work. Sandy's condo, literaly on the beachfront, was the best views we have ever had. Super clean, very well supplied and the directions to get all the way to the front door are spot on. You can watch dolphins, sea turtles and surfers all at the same time. Dining and shopping is a short walk away. Facility staff is VERY courteous. We highly recommend this stay. A++

Corner unit with amazing views. Spacious 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living area and great lanai for sipping tea and watching boogie boarders. We spent a lot of time outside listening to the ocean waves! Our toddler loved the swimming pool- we had everything we needed and more:) Mahalo!

This place can't advertise enough how beautiful the sunset is from the balcony. Great property. We were lulled to sleep every night by the waves crashing on the rocks. Such an incredible stay. Would definitely book again.

Quiet condo complex right on the ocean. Condo has beautiful ocean views from all rooms. Large lanai to enjoy morning coffee and evening sunsets. Didn’t realize it does not have A/C which could be an issue in the warmer months. Nice pool and BBQ area. Would def stay again during temperate months.

Walking distant to Kona was an absolute plus so we did not have to deal with traffic or pay parking for dinner. Property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the sound of the ocean at night was awesome.

The place is everything over expecting and more. Very convenient to restaurants and shops. Everything we needed was about a 10 minute walk away. The fact that you did not have AC was not an issue for us. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The outdoor barbecues were immaculate an d the pool area was very nice and never very crowded. Seeing dolphins and the fish in the surf from our balcony was incredible. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back again.

Hello, This is a beautiful property located 5 minutes walk from Kona center, 5 minutes drive from Safeway and Walmart. Spacious for a group of four and clean. Facilities at the condo (pool, grill) are very convenient. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful time here. The condo is in a great location with wonderful amenities located on the property. The condo was just as described, and while certain things could use an update, we were beyond happy. We are a family of 4 and everyone, including those of us with preteen angst thought this place was great.

Will definitely stay again. Comfortable and great location. Beach next door, walking distance to town, lovely view from the lanai.

We could not have been in a better location! Our corner unit had a great view from the lanai, dining room and kitchen. Falling asleep to the sounds of waves was a favorite part. The pool was handy and we used the BBQ’s twice. Parking was nice too. Getting hooked up to internet was difficult and it would be handy if it was written clearly in the instructions. Other than a few little things we would absolutely recommend this property.

This property is in great shape and has an awesome location for watching the water, the surfers and just relaxing! The only thing that we didn’t realize was there is no A/C in the unit but not a problem anyway.. aloha we will be back !!

My sister & I stayed for a long weekend & loved coming back to the condo at day’s end to the sound of the surf! Great view of the break right out front. The amenities are all here. What a wonderful space to spend down time! I would 100% book this VRBO again.

Kona Reef is a great location. We have stayed at Kona Reef many times and this condo has everything you need. The location is convenient for walking to all facilities within the town. We bought our grand daughter with us for the first time and she loved the pool etc. and the access to town.

Walking through the door and hearing the ocean - then seeing the view was amazing. Within walking distance to restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!

We were very happy with the location, views, and the parking. We were surprised that there wasn't air conditioning as that is one of our requirements....I believe we booked before it was taken off the listing. The pool area was lovely! There were many small antlike bugs, but not a hindrance really.

We could not think of anything more this place could have offered to make our stay any better. View was dynamite, falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the surf was a dream come true. Morning breakfasts on the lanais while watching the local surfers right in front of us was quite the show each morning. This condo had everything we needed and more. We were constantly surprised at the ease and convenience of our stay here. We were skeptical when booking originally because this particular unit did not have AC. However, just as the host promised, With the screens open and the lanai doors along with the fans that were provided for each room we never had a second thought about it. Total comfort all the way around at this place and we highly recommend to anyone considering!

Our stay was great, condo was wonderful. Great, well maintained and clean amenities. The kids loved the pool! Short easy walk to many shops and restaurants. We are already talking about booking our next trip!
