Myself and my family have been going to Indian Lake for many years. We absolutely loved the Madison Cottage. It was the perfect size and location. The house was decorated beautifully, very clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. The rest of my family stayed in the home next door during this same timeframe. It had been a few years since we’ve all been to the lake due to my husband being on a transplant list. He did receive a transplant back in August of 2022 and this was the perfect location to celebrate his 1 yr anniversary. We definitely plan to return next summer.

Our trip to The Madison Cottage was wonderful. The views were amazing and we all had fun kayaking and swimming right off the dock. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. We will definitely return in the future.

Spent the weekend at Madison Cottage, very clean and inviting home and location. We(myself, my husband and our son and his wife and family) stayed here for the second time. The home is very well kept, and had almost everything we needed for our stay. Still needs living room lights that are not coming from the ceiling. Both my husband and son crochet and the over the shoulder light is just not available. Other than that we all had a great time. Enjoyed playing cards at the dining room table, sitting by the lake or mini trips into town to enjoy the local area. All in all, lots of fun for everyone. Many thanks!

Nice clean place. Good view of the lake from both backyard and inside the house. Close to multiple good restaurants and other activities.

This was our fourth year staying. My mother had a little difficulty with the stairs as did I. The place is great! Very clean and everything we needed was there.

This property never fails to impress. The view is amazing. The neighbors friendly and the property manager is just a call away for answers to questions. Will be staying here again.

Very clean, has everything you need! The house was so cute with nice lake decor. The location on the water was wonderful. The kids and adults were outside the whole time enjoying the lake and the view. We participated in the Labor Day Ring of Fire and that was cool to see. Would love to go and stay again!

I rented this house for a long weekend with my family for my 60 something birthday. The house more than exceded my expectations. I enjoyed the spaciousness and yet convienent access to everything in this house. The outdoor firepit that we didn't have to haul out and back was a defninte plus. Firewood and toilet paper would be a great addition to the many available amenities. Had a great time and caught a variety of fish! Thank-you, your rental property is well worth a return trip.

This is our 3rd stay with Matt & Shelly, and we had a great time! Their place is in an awesome location, it's clean/updated, and has an amazing backyard for the kids to swim in the lake/fish/have a campfire. Already planning to come back next summer!

We were meeting other family’s members, who were staying 2 doors down. Our cottage was perfect, just what we needed. We had a great week. Cottage was very clean and had everything we needed! Matt was very easy to work with. We have already reserved for 10 days next year!

The shaded back yard is located on the lake with a concrete seawall with sitting area allowing easy access for lake viewing and fishing. The cottage was very comfortable and updated. It was perfect for the 7 of us - grandparents, parents and grandchildren. Very enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Even with the weedy lake we were able to enjoy the grassy lawn and beautiful views. Thank you for your hospitality. My husband caught quite a few blue gill from the dock!

This is the second time we have stayed at the cottage. The view of the lake is fantastic and the proximity of the house to restaurants are two reasons we love this location. Planning on visiting again in the future.

Had a lovely stay even though it rained there was a good view of the lake. Neighbors were friendly.

My husband and I stayed with another couple for a quick getaway. This place is right on the lake and has fabulous views that you cannot get in suburbia. There were high quality finishes and had all the kitchen gadgets you would need to make an elaborate dinner. We stayed in the room facing the lake. The bed was comfortably firm, but the pillows were a little too soft for my liking. But, again, the view made it worthwhile. We used the fire pit outback. We went in the “off season” and felt completely secluded. The neighborhood had little to no activity. overall, a great experience.

TV in every bedroom would be nice

Myself and a few other girls stayed the weekend and had a great time! The cottage is extremely clean and very cute! It was wonderful to wake up everyday with that beautiful lake view! We are already talking about coming back with our family next year!

Nice, clean house. It had lots of room. Loved the fire pit. Our only complaint was that the fish weren’t biting.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Madison Cottage. Everything was as shown in the listing and very clean and easy to find everything we needed. The only suggestion we had was the need for more table height lamps in the living room. All light came from the ceiling and reading or knitting was not as easy because of that. Also, the stairs could use some sort of hand rail due to the steep nature of the staircase. But, overall it was a winner of a vacation stay.

The property was very nice. The cottage was very cute and well kept. Everything we needed. The view out by the lake was wonderful. Enjoyed sitting out there. Did some fishing, our grandson loved to fish out there. The neighborhood was quiet and we rode our bikes around and walked. Everyone was very friendly. We also took our canoe and went around the lake one morning. We went to some local restaurants, very good. Close to everything. We definitly hope to stay again. Had a very nice time.

Cute little cottage that had everything we needed. Great location for kids to swim within a little cove and they especially loved the Lily pad that was provided to play with! The owners were also next door, they were helpful and friendly to talk with! Thanks for a great weekend :)

This was a great cabin in a perfect location on Indian Lake. It's ideally located to enjoy the local amenities but is tucked on a very quiet street in a very quiet neighborhood. Great views and the house is just as listed and clean upon arrival. Kitchen was well stocked and the property has a lot of small perks to make it feel like your very own lake house.
