My daughters and I just finished staying in this wonderful cottage this week. We had the most wonderful time and will definitely come again. The property was just as described, clean and well-maintained. The owner/manager checked on us when we arrived and during our stay. I would recommend this property and this company. There are so many attractions that we enjoyed that it is hard to list them all. We enjoyed the beach every day, rode bikes, watched the sun rise and set. Our favorite place to eat is Bubba Gumbo's and we really enjoyed the local farmers market. We cannot wait to return!

This was our 7th stay in a Mermaid Cottage and the 5th different cottage we have rented. Fun in the Sun was one of the best! Great location, good yard for our dogs, and the house was comfortable with everything we needed. Loved the screened in porchand hammock. As always, the management company was easy to work with and very accommodating to our needs. Would definitely recommend using Mermaid Cottages, and in particular Fun in the Sun.

Visiting Tybee Island was a new experience for us. We usually go to another beach that has too much hustle and bustle. We had such a fun and relaxing time and don't ever want to go anywhere else. The place was even better than we expected, the customer service polite and prompt and very accessible. LOVED the house.. pretty, lots of great decor details, very comfortable clean beds and furniture, generously stocked kitchen, laundry, & baths, great shower size and water pressure, lots of hot water, our 2 pooches felt very welcomed and considered, yards fun, and of course very nice neighborhood. We were there in July and wished we'd booked longer than our 3 days. There were several very intense thunderstorms that were fun and comfy to observe from a cozy safe inside. My 8 year old granddaughter has already claimed another visit at the exact same house.

Our vacation was amazing! This is the 2nd time visiting Fun In The Sun. Walking distance to the south beach, the pier and all the shops. Best place to eat Stingrays. Cleaning crew should pay close attention to the living room sofa, it has a very foul odor. Other than that the house was acceptable. The Mermaid staff was a pleasure to work with. We will differently work with them again.

There is none better than Mermaid Cottages!! I rented Fun in the Sun for the month of August and it was the best decision I could have made. Diane and Tammy made sure I was well taken care of the whole time. Fun in the Sun is a sweet little cinderblock cottage with a wonderful screened in back porch. It may be a small home, but the set up gives lots of options for the guests to sleep and visit.. I LOVE this place!! I have stayed on Tybee for almost 20 years. The last few have been with Mermaids and I will continue to rent through them. Best costumer service ever!! I will also gladly spend more time at FUN IN THE SUN!!

We arrived from the Chicago, IL area to find Fun in the Sun a wonderful home and comfortably settled in for our stay. We traveled with our 9 year old Welsh Terrier. She was very happy in the home. This was not our first trip so while we explored the area (including Savannah).Unfortunately Hurricane Ian was predicted to hit the area, so we elected to leave early. We had consulted with Tammy and she was very helpful in helping us make the decision.We will return to be able to enjoy a full week on Tybee in the future.As for the house. Cute CottAge
We loved the cottage. Check in/out was smooth with no problems. The only thing negative is the air conditioner had to be kept at 72 degrees and with 95 degree weather, it was not cool enough.

Our only dislike was the outdoor shower. You have to hold the handle down for the entirety of your shower. If you let go the water turns off so that made it not very usable for us. Pleasantly surprises
Diane was awesome we had a couple of concerns about the property but Diane and her group was always there to help with a resolution.
The walk to the beach was quick and the best restaurants was only minutes away. This property is pet friendly my yorkie had a great time in the back yard but the screen porch needed some minor work. And I think with most rentals the mattress could be better. But overall I would do it again.

We had a great time and the cottage was very comfortable for 5 people.The furniture in the advertising pictures were not the ones shown in living room and screened porch. The furniture was a lot more work but they were comfortable just don't know why they they had to mislead. With that said everything worked and we had plenty of not water. The screen porch really makes the cottage feel larger and we spent most of our home time there. You won't be disappointed, easy drive to Savannah and short walk to the beach.

The cottage was a bit dated but that was understood and expected. There should be more “time appropriate “ (1950’s) furniture. We did have ants that we had to call about but it was handled quickly. The door to the screened in porch would lock but could jut be pushed/pulled open. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was very friendly.
