We've stayed at 15-20 rental locations across various CO mtn. towns over the past 3-4 yrs, being that we live in the Front Range.
This location is by far and wide one of our favorites (top 2). Our stay was in the summer (mid-July).
The village and local area were super chill. DH biking and hiking easily accessible and awesome.
Town was as expected to be .... busy anytime during summer / winter.
The 3 full beds / baths are super nice for what could be a varied amount of guests.
The place is a real balance of comfort, convenience and it felt like the owner(s) also cared for the unit. Didn't feel like just a rental unit.
Parking wasn't at all an issue, but if you had multiple vehicles you may have to shuttle (1) vehicle to surface lot 5 minutes away. It was my greatest concern and yet it turned out to be nothing.
Local full time residents were very nice as well.
If I only had (1) complaint...it was the microwave above-counter light was out. Hardly a complaint.

Decent location for a nice view of the mountain. However, if you're planning on skiing be warned that you'll need to drive to lot parking. Also, there is only 1 spot to park at unit, with almost no other close by parking for a second car. Two twins were advertised in the common room, but this is really just a couch. The place wasn't cleaned well; dirty air fryer, dirty dishware, trash under upstairs bed, and trash in downstairs king bedroom's bathroom.

Great condo! Everything you need is there. The cute little outdoor deck was great for my gals to have coffee in the mornings and wine in the early evenings with a beautiful view of all the colors:) New showers, comfy beds , and not far from town!! Can't wait to go back!!

We loved our stay here at Ridgecrest. Property was clean upon arrival & the check in instructions were easy peasy. The view from our balcony was unmatched & the hot tub was a very nice amenity for those colder days. All who stayed agree that this is an easy 5 star review. Our family had an awesome time while visiting this location. The room was perfect for us and set up for a great ski trip. Lots of rooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was well appointed with all of the utensils and pans we needed. Lots of extras in the pantry. Thank you!
The unit is not close to shuttle stop, but that was not an issue. The Meadows Lot is not far and free and provides excellent shuttle service.
Unit was well maintained and clean.

I really enjoyed staying at this property! The view was spectacular! Kitchen, bathroom, everything was stocked and made us feel at home. The parking is the only thing that we had an issue with if your party has more than one vehicle. Overall....would love to stay here again!

This was a very good property to stay at while on a ski vacation in Steamboat with my kids. The unit had everything we needed. Parking was a challenge since we had two vehicles. It would also have been good to know the best way to get transportation to and from the ski area. I would definitely consider staying there again. Thank you!

Unit was in a great location close to both the resort and the town! Inside was clean and well stocked with great kitchen supplies and appliances. Place would be ideal for a trip with one large car, parking was a little bit difficult with two but possible to make it work with two smaller cars.

We enjoyed our stay and accommodations. Steamboat is an awesome place to visit and the property has one of the best views of the mountain. Plenty of space in the house, and the kitchenware was awesome. We were disappointed we could not check in early (4pm being later than the average considering that counts towards your stay) and the lack of pool table that is pictured in the common area. We love pool. My only other comment is there was little to no soap provided in the bathrooms, next time we’ll make sure go bring our own. Overall, would recommend.

-Cleanliness. Our unit was dirty upon arrival. They "spot" cleaned but there were hairs in the showers and on the linens, stains on the linens, and the unit was generally very dusty. Couch had wrappers and crumbs in it. We reached out to management and they attempted to send a cleaner, but we had already arrived and our gear and luggage would have made it difficult for them to clean. This was not a fix as it should have been addressed before our arrival.
- Poor condition of the unit - the downstairs suite bed was broken. We reached out and they never sent anyone to fix it. The lamp in the other room was also broken. This place is clearly a rental only and is run down.
- Hot tub broken for most our trip. Fixed on the last day.
- Poorly stocked - hardly any kitchen supplies, no shampoo, conditioner, or soap in bathrooms. This is fine just most other VRBOs have this so something to consider when booking.
- Lack of parking - this is listed but was VERY difficult to find additional parking especially as the group size on this unit is for 8 people max, which would be impossible to have two cars.
Communication with the management company was prompt, but they didn't actually ever resolve anything. They kept citing the rental agreement and was just generally unhelpful. Not exactly hospitable and would not stay here again. There are much better places in Steamboat we have stayed in the same price range.

We arrived to find that our parking spot was taken by a truck that was blocking the storage locker. I contacted the property management company and after waiting to hear back from them for a day, their solution was to place a note on the vehicle asking them to move. The truck remained in our spot during our entire stay forcing us to constantly search for parking and also endure unnecessary confrontations with other guests who were also trying to find parking. Additionally, we weren't able to access our storage locker and were forced to lug our equipment up and down to the condo multiple times per day. Then, we went into the unit and found it to be very unclean. It appeared that someone touched it up, but didn't really clean it. There was trash under and behind all furniture, including a moldy lime, an empty pringles can, used tissues, food crumbs, receipts and other assorted items. We have a toddler who is always playing on the floor. The last thing we want on a vacation is to constantly worry about our child putting someone else's garbage in her mouth. Finally, the hot tub never worked during the entire stay. We got in on the 2nd night and it was lukewarm and then tried again on our last night and it was frigid. The jets worked but it was clearly not being heated and the water level seemed very low. Additionally, the water was not clean and it was green. We didn't notice during our first use because it was dark outside, but it was very apparent when we attempted the 2nd time. A minor complaint i that the unit is described as ski out, but there is no direct path to the mountain. It requires quite a bit of hiking to get to the base and isn't convenient at all. We were expecting easier access to the mountain based on the property description, but found it to be falsely represented. For the cost of the unit, we expected it be much better. It provided us a roof over our head and a warm bed, but everything else was not as promised and resulted in very unsatisfactory and disappointing experience.

Had a wonderful time in Steamboat Springs!! Man y fun active things to do. My party included family and friends.....happy to report all had a great time!
Accommodations at 1805 River Queen Lane where clean, well stocked and just as represented on video.
Brought motorcycles and gear for trip. Had packed chains and locks to secure to prevent theft...felt so confident that all items where safe...that I never used them.
If ever choose to came back to Steamboat Springs...will definitely stay here again!!

Ski trip
Everything was communicated prior to arrival. It is definitely a hike to the slopes but doable. It helped we had friends staying at Torin Plum that we could keep our skis there. The place was nicely outfitted with spices and such which is great since we cooked there daily.

Great View of Slope
Plusses: great view and close to ski area.
Minuses: it was a bit small for our family of 5 adults and three children. Living space is poorly arranged for family gatherings, watching a movie, etc. No dresser for clothing in the first floor primary bedroom, limited space for winter coats and boots. Table had only six wobbly stools even though the unit is supposed to accommodate eight. Challenging for us to get all our stuff up 3 flights of stairs. (we celebrated Christmas here so gifts plus personal belongings and food/beverages.) The unit was not as clean as I had hoped, lots of debris from former residents, stains on sheets in first floor primary bedroom , funky closets, worn carpeting. Doorknob on 2nd floor primary bedroom was malfunctioning and our 6 year old got locked inside the room. This was reported to management along with a plugged 1st floor bathroom sink. We were assured someone would come by the next day to repair these two items. Never heard another word. They did grant us a late departure which was very much appreciated.

Comfortable Stay
The accommodations were comfortable. View was great. Located at the end of a road - quiet location. Kitchen is well equipped. The hot tub was nice and easily accessed off a complex Rec room. Clothes washer and dryer are NOT in the unit, but complex coin operated. We had 6 adults and found the living area a bit tight. The bus stop for the shuttle is not an easy walk to get to. Overall - Comfortable

Our visit to Steamboat Springs was great!’ The condo was attractive, clean and comfortable!! Met our needs perfectly! Location was great! Beautiful views of the ski lifts. Only suggestion would be to offer little soaps and shampoos in the bathroom. Thank you so much!!

Great ski trip
The Condo was perfect for a ski trip with some friends. Everything was as advertised and check in/out was very easy. Would definitely stay here again!

The condo is in a good location to the mountain with nice balcony views. It was clean and spacious for 4 of us. You can walk to the mountain in about 15 mins or drive to the free lot which is 5 minutes away. Going to town for groceries or dinner takes about 10-15 mins.We were told on day of check-in that the toilet in the master bedroom (upstairs) wasn't working and they would work to fix it as soon as they could. Unfortunately it was never fixed during our stay and was very disappointing especially for me who was staying in the master and had to come downstairs every time I needed to use the bathroom.We also had an electrical issue and the power went out in the kitchen and the two lower bedrooms that prevented us from making breakfast one morning before heading to the hill. Luckily they fixed it before we got home from skiing that day. Because of these issues our group requested what we thought to be a reasonable refund. There was lots of back and forth with the property managers but eventually they agreed to our refund request.The parking situation was a little confusing. We were told there was 1 assigned spot, which is true, but it wasn't abundantly clear there are guest spots on the property you can park in as well. If you check occasionally you should be able to find an open guest spot. When we asked where we could park overnight off the property if guest spots weren't open we were given a list but none of the areas checked out. Ultimately we parked at Safeway overnight without issues.We were also told by the property managers the hot tub was not open due to covid but we found that it in fact was and were able to enjoy it while there.Overall, the condo was good for our needs for a few days of skiing. The communication with the property owners was not the best, but we were able to resolve our issues and receive a refund for our inconveniences.

Great Time
Three friends (all over 60) went down to do some snowmobiling at the pass. Condo was fantastic! Very clean and met all of our needs. Steamboat is an excellent place to relax and play as well. Highly recommend this place and will hopefully be back next year.

Property was exactly as described. Nice family vacation. Only issue is that there is only parking for one vehicle, but fortunately we went off-season so were able to park in one of the few extra spots available.
