Historic Truckee River House
Esta es una propiedad única. Esto tiene un significado histórico como el Women's Wyethia Garden Club a principios de 1900, con una gran sala de reuniones hermosa, una cocina y un baño que a lo largo de los años ha sido remodelado y agregado. El nivel de entrada de arriba todavía tiene la hermosa sala grande con una chimenea de gas, un sistema estéreo de sonido envolvente y un televisor de pantalla plana. En la planta baja están las dos habitaciones, cada una con su propio baño. El principal tiene un baño más grande con ducha grande. El segundo dormitorio tiene un hermoso baño con azulejos y una excelente vista al río. Ambas habitaciones tienen puertas privadas a la cubierta inferior exterior. El dormitorio principal más grande tiene un televisor de pantalla plana y reproductor de DVD. Lavadora y secadora estándar están en el pasillo de la planta baja.
Acabo de agregar un colchón King completamente nuevo y un colchón completo nuevo a las habitaciones, según las sugerencias de los inquilinos para un sueño más cómodo. Me encantan los colchones Tuft y Needle! Ambas habitaciones ahora tienen cortinas para la cobertura de la mañana ... Me gusta despertar en la oscuridad, ¡pero no todos lo hacen!

I can't say enough great things about this place! One of the few rentals that feel like it's built for real people to stay there (versus just for a weekend). So much space, lots of lights, great AC situation, etc. And so magical to have the river right there!! And Dinny was awesome and incredibly fast and thoughtful. Would 100% go back!

Listening to the sound of the river has always been one of my most favorite things to do. And being that this wonderful house is right on the river was very special. The house has everything you need clean comfortable beds. We just had a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. Great location, close walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops. Backyard with Truckee river is amazing for relaxing during during the day and stargazing during the night. House has many upgrades including great audio system, modern bathrooms with a steam room, kitchen with everything you may need

The house is beautiful and has many amenities. Kitchen well-equipped. However, check with the host first if there is anything listed that you are depending on to be there, as there are some things missing.
Even though there wasn’t snow, we had a lovely time in this lovely house. We would definitely enjoy visiting again!

this is a great place to stay at for your winter vacation. It’s only 10 minutes away from Northstar, and pretty much all the Truckee restaurants are in walking distance. The downstairs bedrooms are really nice and so are the attached private baths. Upstairs is a large living room area with a state of the AV entertainment system. Plus there’s a well stocked kitchen. We had a great time.

After an 11 hr drive from SF Airport where we were turned around due to snowfall an hour from Truckee on Rt 80 and had to drive over to and up Rt 50 all the way around Lake Tahoe's east side, we were rewarded with this amazing house on the river.
It's a good thing we made the effort because everything was shut down for the next two days in blizzard conditions. We enjoyed adventure walks, and precious down time with my son and his girlfriend who live in CA. 3 days of epic skiing followed.
Other than a few dated, but working, appliances in the kitchen, everything about this house was perfect. Overall newly renovated with two bedrooms with full baths with radiant floor heat and very comfortable beds. Up stairs offers a large room with a very effective gas fireplace overlooking the river with a lovely deck and grill. The driveway was just long enough to fit our two vehicles. It was cleared a couple times a day, but the whole town was overwhelmed by this rare storm so we had to do some shoveling. Dinny, the owner, could not have been more available and helpful throughout our stay. We were very happy with this rental. We hope to return next year!

This is my absolute favorite place to stay in all of Tahoe. My 3 favorite things are the location, the adorable house with a great layout and giant open living room, and that it has everything you need! And I’ll add one more, the heated bathroom floors and the steamer in the shower is amazing after a day on the mountain!

We loved our stay here. Walking to town is great, and the river view makes you feel like it’s not too urban. Train noise is minimal in the bedrooms since they are on the bottom. Kitchen was adequate. The place could use a deep clean and better linens, but it wasn’t a problem. We really would like to stay again!

This home was WONDERFUL. I had thought it'd be cozy and small, but we found the space to be much larger than the pictures seem to indicate. There were thoughtful details around the property that enabled us to feel at home right away, like labeling the light switches, basics stocked in the kitchen, and games/puzzles.
A few things that made this place stand out are:
Location -- it is really nice to be in downtown Truckee. We visited to see the snow and it was really nice to be able to walk for coffee/meals without dealing with snow. This home really is in the heart of charming Truckee.
Radiant Heat: We visited in the winter to have snow time, and this home was so cozy and warm with radiant heat. What a difference it makes!
Set Up: Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and there is an additional bathroom on the top level -- so nice! The layout enabled us to be together without being on top of each other. The view of the river is really lovely as well, and was a really special view you can't find many places.
Dinny was also a super-responsive host and made sure we had everything we needed. What a joy to stay here!

My family stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed this beautiful home! The house was cozy and comfortable with an upper and lower deck with beautiful river views. The location is walking distance from downtown Truckee and the River Legacy Trail, which is an easy paved hiking/biking trail that follows along the Truckee river. I would highly recommend and definitely want to stay again.

On the river, close to shops, coffee, sports shop and downtown Truckee. Beautiful inside. High-end everything inside, kitchen, bathrooms, living room.
Lack of extra pillows. Steep stairs not for small dogs or people with mobility issues. Waze took us in circles. Need to use different app.

This cozy cabin is perfect for a wonderful weekend in Truckee. The location was perfect. The river runs right in the backyard and it’s absolutely beautiful! It’s literally a 5 minute walk to cute downtown but it’s also very central to the area. Skiing at Northstar and Sugarbowl was super close, only 15 minutes away!
Dinny, the host was amazing and such a sweetheart. When I had questions, she was always available to give us advice. She created such a beautiful home and we will definitely be back!

Great Stay in Truckee!
We loved Dinny's house and will definitely book again! The main room is spacious and open with a great view of the Truckee River. The kitchen was better stocked than most with extras like foil, saran wrap, spices, oils, etc. Easy walk to downtown Truckee. The house was clean and welcoming and the water pressure in the downstairs bathrooms is no joke! A great place for four people to hang out, eat, play games and watch movies while in Truckee.
