This was perfect for my husband and I. Just the perfect size with all the amenities needed. The beach was beyond beautiful! We did some travel around the island but we could have simply stayed in and loved every minute of it at this location.

There is no better location than Tropic of Cancer Beach within a stone's throw of Brea's Delights. At least, I can imagine nothing better. Blue Point Cottage exceeded our expectations. Although the sunrise peaks in the master bedroom's east-facing window, it's just great to sit up in bed and see the azure ocean - literally. We roamed around a fair bit, I just cannot fathom a better or more beautiful location.

The house was wonderful and exactly as described and depicted in the pictures. The beach is literally the most beautiful beach we’ve ever seen. We kayaked almost every day to the little islands in front of the house, which is a must do.
There’s a beach access within walking distance that has Brea’s Delight Bar and Grill, we ate lunch there 3 days, best hamburgers on the island.
We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at Blue Point a cottage. The property manager had the place stocked with the grocery list I sent ahead of time. There were things leftover from prior guests including bug spray and oil to help with the noseeums. You need it!! The location on the Tropic of Cancer beach was perfect. There is a little beach bar for food and drinks, Breas Delight, very close by! Be aware that the roads back to the houses on ToC beach are gravel and with rain storms, need to be taken slow. I would recommend a few extra blankets are added to the cottage for comfort. Overall, the home was as described and I would absolutely stay here again!

Small but absolutely adorable. Great location, you are right next to the Tropic of Cancer snack shack. We enjoyed this location very much. The house is clean, with lovely finishes, Judy is great if you choose to use her help with groceries etc. Something to keep in mind, if this is your first time, the house has no "recourse book" of any kind, so you better be prepared with your own- restaurants, things to go, places to see. The owner does send you some that, but as a repeat visitor to the island, I am glad we knew all the ins and outs before arriving.

Family of 3 stayed a week. Size of cottage was perfect for us. Really happy the cottage came with washer and dryer, kayaks, big jugs of bottled water, coolers, starter toiletries, hot tub and comfortable beds. Beach is perfect for launching kayaks or young kids if you have them. Communication with owner and on island property manager was excellent. Would stay again. Location is Tropic of Cancer beach. A 30 minute drive to downtown GTown. The owner sends you a cheat sheet for all on island activities and restaurants etc. super helpful. We rented a boat, went fishing, hit the chat n’ chill twice. There’s a lot to do given there are no stop lights on the island thank goodness. Restaurant days/hours are hit and miss. Shop at the grocery store in town but try all of the local joints.

We just left our stay at Blue Point Cottage and we are already planning our next trip back!!! We traveled as a family of four, two adults, two boys (11 & 14) and this house was perfect. To wake up every morning to the beautiful panoramic views offered was such a treat. We walked on the beach every single morning and pretty much had the beach to ourselves. The house had both lounge chairs and foldable beach chairs for us. Plus other beach toys, floats, etc. we used the kayaks to explore the islands across the way. We also enjoyed the ease of walking to Brea’s beach bar for hamburgers and drinks! Shout out to those two ladies who took great care of us all week! The beach is IMO, the most beautiful beach in Exuma. The water is clear and bright blue! And again, during the day, we never felt crowded on the beach.
The house had everything we needed to cook our meals and we very much appreciated the seasonings left behind for others to use. The decor is perfect and house was super clean. The beds were super comfortable and the air conditioning was good & cold!! And we enjoyed the hot tub in the evening when the sun was setting.
Judy, the house manager had a car waiting for us at the airport (we booked through her) and was super quick to respond to any questions. As well as John, the owner. Such a pleasure to deal with.
I really can’t say enough great things about Blue Point Cottage and we can’t wait to return and enjoy Little Exuma and all it’s beauty again! Thank you for having us!!!!

This was our first time to Exuma and we could not have had a better trip! What an incredible place. Blue Point Cottage did not disappoint either. It was clean and comfortable and the perfect size for our small family of 4. Prior to our trip, Judy and Tania were great communicators and although we weren’t told how to gain access to the house at check in ahead of time, we arrived to find it was ready and unlocked. We use the service to have the kitchen stocked and had a chef two nights, all of which was seamless. We’ll be back next year!

It has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful vacation, whether with your partner or family. My wife and I ended up very much in love with this spectacular view, it helped us to pause and clear our minds from the overwhelming daily routine. we really enjoyed snorkeling, kayaking, exploring the place in general.
if you like to cook make sure you do most of your shopping before you arrive since the closest market is about 35 minutes away and definitely rent your own car to make it easier to go to different places.

I ALMOST want to say bad things so it becomes a secret! Exuma is the most amazing place I have ever been and this property was just beautiful. The house was great, the hospitality, the amenities all perfect. the location can not be beat! we stayed there with our two teenage sons and it was the perfect size! Quiet, beautiful and serene. Tropic of Cancer beach was indescribable in its beauty. No more than 10 people on the whole beach the whole time we were there. House was perfect. Had amenities as described - hot tub was a bonus at the end of the day. Would love to come back!

Clean and cute inside. Loved that the purified water machine/jugs were provided for the week. Kitchen had all the basics we needed. The kayaks were a blast- we went out to the little islands and enjoyed the views. Snorkeled around the little islands and saw some cool fish! Plenty of floats and beach chairs etc. at the house which was nice. The beach itself and water are amazing- I have been to many Caribbean places, and this place by far has the best water I've seen. No rough waves, water is crystal clear- it's just breath taking. And the view is literally heavenly- even better than the pics. FYI: There was some construction going on next door, but in NO way dampened the trip- host also gave us a heads up, so it was no surprise.. This place was food for the soul and I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to relax (with a smidge of adventure). The AC worked great- plenty of hot water for showers. There was nothing that we needed that the house didn't provide. We rented a jeep which was fun! Bought grouper from a local fisherman who caught it just hours prior, and cooked it for dinner which was fun! Didn't make it to Santanna's (b/c it closes at 6 and we were having too much fun on the beach and didn't want to leave to do an early dinner)- but MANY locals ranked it as top notch on the island. Will def be recommending this place to friends and family. The host was easy to communicate with.

We’ve traveled to many islands always looking for the perfect beach to return to every year. We finally found it. Cottage was perfect and beach was pure paradise. Judy and owner John were very responsive with any issues or questions. Little Exuma is off the beaten path so if you want nightlife late dinners etc. look elsewhere. Plan accordingly and this will be your best vacation ever.

Perfect adult getaway
The house is great. All we needed for the 2 of us. We loved being right on the beach. Everything is just as pictured and very clean. We enjoyed having the kayaks to go across to the island and have our own private picnic. The beach was never crowded and the little bar 2 houses down was nice to walk to but they do close early as with everything near by 5 or 6 so plan accordingly. Tropic breeze was the best hands down on the island. We absolutely loved it! Bring bug spray in the early hours or the evening they seriously go on attack mode. Unless you are right on the water they will find you all Liam Neeson style. 😉 Other than that is highly recommend.

Magnificent beach
The Tropic of Cancer beach did not disappoint….. crystal clear waters just outside the door of this lovely little cottage. This home had the comforts we needed and the hot tub was lovely but the main reason we stayed was the beach and it was magnificent. Would stay again although it is a bit far for supplies etc.

Another magical stay at the cottage!
This was our third time to Little Exuma and our second time in the cottage! It is our little piece of heaven and this vacation did not disappoint. Judy is always extremely responsive and helpful if you ever need anything. We took Elvis’s water taxi over to Chat ‘N Chill our first day and loved it. We even got to pet some friendly stingrays! It was pretty windy the whole time, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the beach. Pro tip - turn right off the deck and walk to end of the beach where you will be protected from the wind. They have perfect back pack chairs that are easy to carry and it makes for a great setup. Especially with a Kalik in hand! You are also steps away from a local beach bar right at the Tropic of Cancer entrance and the drinks are delicious, albeit strong! Our last night we got the chef and it was a fantastic experience. I wouldn’t change a thing about the whole trip. We can’t wait to come back and relax at our favorite place on earth.

Perfect Lil Spot
It was adorable and even though 2 bedroom and 1 bath it had great living and kitchen space. I spoke with the owner directly on a few small issues that he was very appreciative to know about and assured would be addressed. Be aware the shower is a rain head with not much pressure so be sure to rinse off the sand good outside. Also, the property is up on a hill and the drive up the long and rocky hill can be a bit precarious, no issues for us as we had a jeep but it does take a few min to get off the main road to the property. The AC was great, beds pretty comfy, plenty of sheets, etc...We really appreciated that there were some kitchen essentials left behind by others instead of having to buy everything we needed as groceries are very expensive in Exuma. We will for sure be back when it's just the hubs and I when we want to stay on Little Exuma.

Best beach
This was a perfect spot for my wife and I and 2 kids... We have visited Exuma before and also this particular beach and it can't be beat... It is a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy the area... So convenient to just post up on the beach steps from the house so the beers are always cold. Kayaks were fun to head to islands out front... Hot tub a plus! Property management/owners were a pleasure to deal with. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Paradise!
Beautiful clean house, had all the staples that we would need for vacation so we could pack light. The Tropic of Cancer beach is absolutely breathtaking. I felt so lucky that we were staying right on one of the most (or maybe THE MOST) beautiful beaches in the world!! Take me back!! We visited Brea’s Delights every day for Bahama Mamas and fruit punch for the kids. Her fish sandwich, cheeseburgers, and conch fritters are sooooo delicious! Some of the best food we ate the whole week. She batters and cooks it right there! We saw fish, starfish, a shark, and a giant manta ray right out front of our house. Thank you for sharing the house with us. What a gem!

Blue Point Cottage has everything you need for your stay. The views are incredible! We pretty much had the beach to ourselves. If you are looking for a laid back island experience. This will not disappoint. Pictures do not do it justice. We are ready to go back! John was easy to book with and made our trip easy! Judy was also very helpful and attentive to any needs while there. Perfect secluded amazing beach and helpful staff!
My husband and I took our first trip away from our young kiddos and this property was everything and more we could have dreamed of. And when they are a little older it will be a perfect place for a family trip as well. Tropic of Cancer beach was the best I’ve ever been to, and we were right on it. Had all the water toys we needed for a lot of ocean fun! Property manager met us with car at airport, led us to best stores to get everything we needed for our stay. Owner was very helpful and provided us with great Bahamas travel tips before we left. Would recommend this property to any beach lover and people wanting a relaxing getaway.

As others have said the pictures don’t do it justice. The house was very clean with a nice “beachy” feel. Using the kayaks to get out to the nearby islands and snorkel was fantastic! Amazing!
We absolutely loved this cottage. The location was excellent, just steps from the beach. We took lots of walks on the beach and watched the sunset every evening. The boats were great, and we used them a lot. It was fun to paddle out to the little islands nearby. It was so nice to have a hot tub to use on the cooler evenings. The owner was great and easy to communicate with. Judy, the lady that helps manage the property, was super helpful and stayed in constant communication with us while we were there. We also rented a car from her which worked out great for us. We will definitely stay here again when we travel back to Little Exuma, which I hope is soon.

Wonderful
This trip was becoming a bit stressful having to reschedule multiple times due to covid but the owner, John, was always responsive and accommodating. Once we finally arrived, it was all worth it. The photos do not do justice. The home and the view are incredible. Judy, the caretaker, is wonderful as well. She can assist in basically anything you need. We hope to get back as soon as we can!!

John - our Owner - was terrific before, during (and even followed-up with us after) our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. John connected us with his on-island manager who was incredibly attentive with everything from a flat tire I endured on my rental car to making sure we were organized for our day-5 Covid test in town. Highly recommend this trip.

Breath-taking view!
We had a wonderful time on the Tropic of Cancer Beach. What a magical place! The hot tub was a great bonus along with the kayaks. Unfortunately we had several days of severe wind so we were only able to go out one time, which, was a bummer for an avid kayaker such as myself. Due to the wind, we lost power several times, understandable, but hard to take when the house next door (which is also owned by the same owners as the cottage) had a generator, thus, were unaffected. Hopefully one will be added to the cottage some time in the future. Either way, we would definitely return, after all, you can't have everything! Fortunately the power outages did not last real long. One suggestion I have would be to add some blinds in the living room area for privacy as we really felt exposed at night to the guests in the villa next door. In summary, it was a magical place and so glad we chose Little Exuma and the Tropic of Cancer Beach. If you are one that likes solitude and a quiet beach, you will love it! Georgetown is an easy 25 minute drive from the house and the locals are absolutely wonderful. This review would be several pages long if I started sharing stories about our amazing encounters! Thank you for opening your lovely cottage for others to enjoy! We will return!

Blue Point Bliss
This was our 3rd visit to Exuma. We ventured out further than usual due to the beauty of the Tropic of Cancer. This by far was our favorite location and rental property. Despite the lovely isolation we still had great restaurants 10 minutes away...Santana's, Tropic Breeze, Blu, Mom's Bakery....and to our surprise a food hut on our beach just a skip away. The house ameneties were more than expected and Judy was promptly responsive to all our inquiries. We may consider the large villa next for a family retreat.

A place that really deserves “Beach House”
The location of the house with direct access to the famous “Tropic of Cancer Beach” is simply phenomenal. The remote location guarantees a quiet and relaxing stay, but gives you as well the opportunity to reach restaurants, grocery stores and other amenities within acceptable time-frame. A (rental) car is definitely necessary, as no other means of transportation is available. Careful driving is required as the streets are at least part-wise of bad quality. The property itself is nicely refurbished, well maintained and is equipped with all you need for a pleasant stay. Although the local beach is exceptional, a boat trip to explore the crystal clear waters and the other Exuma Islands, including Stocking Island (Chat 'N' Chill), is highly recommended. In this sense, please don’t forget your own camera because no one will believe what you will see…
