My 19 year old son loved driving me around Fripp. We went to the Beach Monday And Tuesday. It was nice to spend some time together after the unthinkable happened in June. We lost my husband suddenly after 32 years together and 28 years married. We are still picking up the pieces of our shattered life. I don't expect to get over this. The last vacation we 3 took together was to Fripp. We loved the ocean. We left some of my husbands ashes in the ocean out from The Hunting Island pier which was his favorite place to fish. We will try to come back next year and would love to stay at Katie and Barry's condo again. Thank you both for your hospitality and compassion. Jennifer and Markee Lott

We have been to Fripp 6 times now and this condo is the best. The owners are supper nice and on top of any needs or questions you might have. The Condo was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Just an amazing spot on Fripp to stay. Would recommend it to anyone and will be staying there again.

This was the perfect condo for our stay on Fripp! We used two of the bedrooms and each had amazing views with extremely comfortable mattresses. The condo was extremely clean and the kitchen was had everything we needed and more! Katie and Barry were readily available when I had questions. I hope to visit again soon!

Spectacular ocean views. Enjoyed watching the dolphins, pelicans, & purple martins from the deck. Very comfortable & well-stocked condo. Owners are very kind & helpful. Beach is beautiful & not crowded but found no shells. The weather became rainy & cloudy so we were sad to only have 1 1/2 days on the beach. Enjoyed delicious seafood at Bonita Boathouse, Foolish Frog, & JMT. And had a chance to tour Beaufort, which was fun.

Our first experience on Fripp Island. Very nice condo in beautiful location overlooking ocean by sea wall and equipped with anything needed to enjoy a beach stay. The condo complex is very pristine and quiet. Our friends the Pucketts are the owners and were always accessible for any hiccup or issue that came up. Highly recommend!

This was a perfect location for us. Everything was provided including the personal touches. Very clean and amazing views. We saw multiple dolphin sightings. We will be back!

This was my first time to Fripp Island, and could not have loved it more. The condo was great, and our hosts were incredibly helpful and kind. We can't wait to go back!

This condo was excellent in every way. We loved how both king bedrooms overlooked the ocean. We could watch the sunrise over the ocean while laying in bed or on the balcony. The ocean was so close we could easily hear the waves crashing against the boulders. We were blessed with prefect weather and a full moon that we enjoyed every night from the balcony. Sitting on the balcony so close to the ocean was incredible. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Each bedroom has its own large bathroom that were generously stocked. We had so much fun riding around in the golf cart. We were very happy that we rented it. We would definitely stay at this condo again. There were only 2 of us (friends) using 2 bedrooms, but it could easily handle 2 - 3 couples. We had a such a great time on Fripp Island, riding around in the Golf Cart, watching sunrises and sunsets, and enjoying the amenities of this Condo. Highly recommend it. The owners were very helpful and accommodating.

We had a wonderful 1st experience stay on Fripp Island. Katie & Barry communicated well with me and were very gracious. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time. We were not aware that we would not have beach access during high tide (only during low tide), yet we loved hearing the crashing waves and seeing the ocean right off our balcony. This also gave us the opportunity to explore the other parts of Fripp where there was more beach during high tide. Beautiful and relaxing stay!

I guess I didn't really understand the listing when my family and I signed up for the condo. The entire island is a self contained, secured little community. Restaurants, beaches, and animals every 5 feet. We were honestly debating how to move there by the end of the first day. :) The condo itself: it is showing some age but immaculate. I understand from a great conversation with the owner that a number of renovations are in the works. You can tell they care about the guests in more ways than one. Be sure to rent the golf cart. It makes getting around easier and was actually pretty fun. FYI: Most of the restaurants are seasonal. Make sure the check the community website for dates, but something was open every day. Overall, I am picky but not nitpicky. I would easily recommend this condo.

Every aspect of this place is amazing. Every morning the sunrise was breathtaking. Dolphins are plentiful. Smiling faces and beautiful places is epitomized here! You will have one of the greatest times of your life here!

First time at Fripp Island celebrating our anniversary, view from condo windows could not have been better seen dolphins every day. Barry and Katie could not have been more helpful. Perfect stay!

We absolutely had no complaints. Communication, check-in, accommodations, cleanliness, location and view was wonderful. The condo was fully stocked with everything that we might need. The owners were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend booking this condo for your next family getaway.

It was nice, the whole complex was clean, and the community Grill location was clean and ready to go.

We needed a nice property that allowed smoking. This property met all our needs and had a gorgeous view to boot. Katie was excellent to work with. Would definitely come back again.

This was our first visit to Fripp Island and we loved it! Renting the golf cart was a must do! We loved riding the golf cart all over the island. We tried different beach accesses and pools but our favorite ones were conveniently the closest to the condo (at the Ocean Point Pool). The view from the condo was very unique. You see nothing but ocean from the living area and both king bedrooms. The condo had everything we needed and great storage for beach gear where the golf cart is parked underneath the complex. It was great to have three and a half bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean. Barry and Katie answered all of our questions and then some! They were great hosts! The store located right as you get onto the island has just about everything you need and a great selection of souvenirs. I wish the island had outdoor showers at all the beach accesses and a few more dining options (Bonita Boathouse was delicious) but we had a great time and will be back!

We ultimately enjoyed our trip. Here are the pros and cons and we hope this helps! PROS: **this place is well equipped! Even with trash bags and toilet paper! Check in before you head to get groceries as they may have it already there! **the view! We saw dolphins and birds and a turtle. **great property manager. They helped find the elevator and places to park **well situated home base for all our adventures. We were off island a good bit and it was easy to get on and off the island. **very nicely decorated! **lots of pools to choose from **very spacious **nice balcony(can get hot) can smoke outside CONS: **almost everywhere has carpet. This gives the condo a musty odor sometimes. **steps. Lots and lots of steps. This was fine for the younger crowd with me but my knees felt it by the end of the week. The elevator is somewhat far away from the condo also. **while nicely decorated, there is some age showing. The tub is clean but shows age. Same with the towels provided. **beach is rather a long walk **lots of places on island close early **pro/con: cell phone reception can be spotty. But you are on an island so that is to be expected. I mostly enjoyed unplugging. **golf cart. Oh the golf cart. While we told the owners multiple times we did not want to rent the cart they asked repeatedly. Once there, I received 5 phone calls over a day and a half from them. I told them several times via text I had reception issues. They finally texted saying they knew we had been using their cart and demanded my credit card info immediately to charge me for the week. They said their property manager had seen me in the cart. I went to the property manager and he said this is absolutely NOT what was said. He helped me onto the property’s WiFi to call the owners. They repeated what was in the text while on speaker phone. Once again the manager said that is not what he said. I did finally get an apology. It did damper the rest of the week somewhat. Basically being called a thief and a liar while on vacation is not fun. I was sure to video everything before we left in case anything else was called into question. I ultimately left a 3 star review because we did have fun there. And the owners were nice-if not a bit overly communicative and overly insistent we would want the cart(we did not need nor want it even once)- before getting there. I don’t think we will return.

This home away from home is amazing! The views are wonderful! It is furnished really well! The island is a true joy to experience! Barry & Katie are wonderful to work with! We can't wait to come back next year!
