Overall this is a very nice house. perfect size for a small family. The house was clean and well equiped. Plenty of space and the game room was definitely a bonus. The kitchen was well equiped and all the appliances worked well with the exception of the stove, which took a very long time to preheat. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in at the beach. We have a king at home and master bed was a queen. The bed was so comfortable we never noticed the difference and I'm over 6ft tall. Short walk to the beach. Only con was the house behind us has a pool. They kept their flood lights on a couple of nights and the light shown right into our bed room at night. I would suggest a dark shade for that window and that would fix that problem. Host was very nice and always quick to respond to my text. Clean up and exit was very easy. I would recomend this house to any small family looking for a nice place and a good price.

Beach Me Up Scotty was amazing. It was everything Bryan, the owner, said it was. It was immaculate, beautifully decorated and well stocked. We were 100% satisfied and would highly recommend it. Absolutely no issues. 100% satisfaction.

Great location walking distance to a private beach in a quiet neighborhood. Central to all areas of the OBX experiences. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back sometime.

Perhaps the perfect place to stay. Salvo is a wonderful, but low key town. Unlike the northern outer banks where there is traffice, malls, and busy, busy. The house was wonderful, very comfortable and well appointed. Love an outdoor shower!

This is our second time staying at “Beach me up Scotty”. We absolutely would recommend. It is the most home rental we have ever stayed in. It just feels like Home. Very clean and everything needed for a wonderful carefree vacation. We will be back again!!! 😊

This was our second stay at Beach Me Up Scotty and it did not disappoint! The beach is a short walk from the house and our kids also really enjoyed the sound on windy days. Salvo is quiet and relaxing but still full of great food options and activities. We got to experience fireworks at the beach this year! Our favorite things about the house are the outdoor shower with warm water and the bonus room with video games. We are looking forward to returning again next year!

Perfect house- cleanest home I’ve stayed in. Wonderful location, fully stocked kitchen. Short walk to beach, hwy 12 not bothersome at all. Can’t wait to come back next summer!!

The house was very clean when we arrived. Bath towels & wash cloths provided but you will need your own bed linens & beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes & cookware, most things that you would need to cook. The beach is a short distance away. As well as stores & restaurants. Overall we enjoyed our stay & would return again.

This house was the perfect place for us to stay on our first visit to the Outer Banks. It was super clean, spacious, and a relaxing place to return to after each day's adventures. Every modern convenience in a pretty house that is so well insulated, noise from the neighbors or the road never bothered us. Easy walk to the beach, easy drive to any place we wanted to go. Our only concern was the old mattress, but we slept well anyway. Thanks so much!

Absolutely spotless upon arrival! Bryan was an excellent host called me a few days prior to let me know of some things! The house is about a 5 or 6 min walk from the beach. We visited the Outer Banks during Easter break week in April 2023 and stayed at "Beach Me Up Scotty". This was probably the cleanest and most well maintained beach houses we've stayed in and that was much appreciated. It was perfect for us and convenient to everything that we had planned to do at the Outer Banks. If we visit the Outer Banks again in the future, we will definitely keep this on our list.

Beautiful beach house! Great location around the center of OBX halfway between Nags Head and Cape Hatteras. Host is very friendly, easy to get ahold of, and house is very clean with all the amenities needed for a great vacation! My family thoroughly enjoyed staying here and loved the game room! Would definitely recommend and love to come back.

Spent an entire month at property on a working vacation and had a great stay. It was definitely off peak for the Outer Banks so many stores/restaurants were closed, but the trade off was a very peaceful and quiet environment. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to take care of meals

Cute house and nice location. The cable was 5 or so channels, the dvd player in the main room wouldn’t work, the Xbox in the spare room didn’t work. When we asked for help the owner was not helpful. We were also charged for a blind that was broken when we got there. I recommend taking pictures of things that are broken upon arrival so you have proof and can avoid false charges.

Beach me up Scotty was an awesome rental. The pictures didn’t do it justice . The house was more beautiful! Game room was great also . Kitchen was stocked nicely .

Great property, 5 minute walk to the beach. It is on the main drag, but you're far enough off you don't hear the noise of traffic. Bike, jet ski rental all within walking distance along with a great fish market.

House was very clean upon arrival. Extremely comfortable for relaxing on non-beach days. Kids loved the arcade room. Comfy beds!

We loved the house and it’s location. The beach house was super comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower and faucets to rinse ourselves and our stuff off. The location was quiet and just a short walk to the ocean. Perfect!

This was our first trip to the Outerbanks, we fell absolutely in love. Beach me up Scotty has everything that is needed to have a great relaxing vacation. I highly recommend this house. It has a very homey feel. House is very clean and feels new.

Five years ago we visited this same property and had an outstanding experience. It was nice to see that it was still a five star experience now. The owner is great to work with throughout the scheduling process. The house is very clean and well maintained. I love the location in Salvo, away from the hustle and bustle of Nags Head and about halfway between Cape Hatteras and Nags Head. This allows you to drive to either area in a reasonable amount of time. As before, one of our sons claimed the downstairs/arcade room as their own personal apartment. That was great for allowing them to stay up late and sleep late. The living room is very spacious and the kitchen has everything you'll need. Since we had a fairly short stay, we grabbed most of our groceries at the Dollar General which is just a minute up the road. Having a washer and dryer is a great plus so you don't have to pack a million changes of clothes. Be aware that there are steps leading up to the main level of the house, so if stairs are an issue for you that will be a consideration. If you've never been here before either, the walk to the beach is a little round about to the public beach access and across the dunes. There is an outdoor shower on the ground floor for washing of the sand. I really enjoyed sitting on the deck eating my breakfast or reading a book. You can catch a nice breeze up there. Excellent property/outstanding trip here for the 2nd time. It certainly won't be our last.

Very nice place yo stay

Weather was terrible as there was a nor’easter stuck off the coast. We did manage to get to Kitty Hawk and Hatteras Lighthouse. Glad for comfortable house because we spent a lot of time there.
