Esta propiedad de playa es muy asequible --- un "Gran lugar para quedarse sin quebrar!" según lo revisado por nuestros huéspedes. La casa está construida en la playa en verano de 2005. Está equipado con cocina completa, triturador de basura, lavaplatos, lavadora / secadora, TV de plato, DVD / VCR y libros para días lluviosos.
Desde principios de 2012, hemos realizado muchas mejoras en esta propiedad: poner una nueva unidad de ducha, un nuevo sofá, una nueva cómoda, una nueva cortina, un nuevo cabezal de cama y un nuevo horno y cocina, así como algunas pinturas y decoraciones nuevas. Nuevas sábanas (edredones y sábanas) están en servicio desde marzo de 2018.
Cercado patio trasero grande se admiten mascotas.
El nuevo sistema de CA (compresor de aire y controlador de aire) se ha instalado desde 2018. Nuevas sábanas (edredones y sábanas) están en servicio desde principios de 2019. Se instaló un nuevo sistema de filtrado para toda la casa en marzo de 2019. El agua pasará por el sistema de filtrado antes de ingresar a la casa. Esta casa de playa está ubicada en una comunidad privada tranquila en el extremo este de la isla de surfside y lejos de la multitud. Vistas al golfo y al canal intercostal desde la gran terraza cubierta con Baby Gate. Disfruta de una hermosa vista del atardecer desde la terraza del dormitorio principal. Muchas ventanas en cada habitación hacen que la casa se sienta muy luminosa y abierta.
El establecimiento está a solo 50 pasos de la playa. Cruza el puente hacia la playa de Surfside y estarás en otro mundo, totalmente relajante, haz todo lo que quieras. Ir a pescar, hacer kayak, surfear o simplemente relajarse en la playa. Pase un tiempo familiar de calidad disfrutando del ambiente relajado. It was a clean environment, just as its losted. A beautiful place to stay. It was clean, organized, and the communication with the host was awesome! She answered us as soon as she could and gave us clear answers to any questions we had! We definitely recomend and will stay here again if we're back in Surfside!

There is no water. Not enough water pressure to take a shower or make coffee. It took over 30mins to fill the coffee pot with water. There is certainly not enough to do more than 1 task at a a time AND you have to wait in between tasks for it to build up pressure again.
Having to wash the towels and linens and run the dishwasher is ridiculous given the lack of available water and also unreasonable with the 10am checkout time. Would not stay here again because of the water and laundry issues. The rest was fine.

We loved the little beach house. We went 4 nights without internet. So we improvised. Kids used hot spot on phones to play games. So the small game table took over as a result. Adults put down phones as well. We had so much fun. Laughing and talking. Everyone kept asking have they said anything about the internet yet. I just ignored them.
The house had everything you needed in the kitchen. Bring your own shampoo and body wash. Think everyone usually does just in case. Both the bathrooms had plenty towels. Especially for a sleeps 10 house. So no internet could be viewed as bad or not depending on your circumstances. I did send a message to the landlord but don’t think they got back with me. Grandson said it gave a number to call to fix it. But I am 78 years old and said just forget it!! And amazingly everyone survived!!
Overall would rent again!

7 of us came for a quick trip to surfside. This is the second time we have stayed in this home. Small but cozy. Everything you need to make meals is there and that is super important to me. Be advised that they require you to wash and dry all lines and towels before departing or you get a fee tacked on. Location is right beside a beach entrance to the county beach so that was awesome as we did not want to be on surfside city beach.

We enjoyed our time at this house and found it to be as listed. It is about 3rd row back from the beach, but a quick walk to the bridge over the dunes. Our dog was very comfortable here.
FYIs the fence is not very tall and probably only good for small dogs to use as an actual fence.
We were there in Nov right after Thanksgiving and the mosquitos were awful. Bring all the spray and everything else.

The house was nice but wasnt on beach front like they said it was there’s a water leak coming down the stairs i almost busted my ass twice not to mention it was roaches all in the dishwasher and on the countertop I had to throw away food that i had cooked because it was a roach in the food Ive been here for 3yrs and have never experienced this I paid over a thousand dollars to stay in a roach invested place not to mention i was sick in the hospital but had to get out so I wouldn’t loose my money but to come to this no im very disappointed and wish i could get my refund everything about this beach house was all a lie u are suppose to walk on the beach not on the street this was a terrible experience never ever again

The beach house was clean and had everything we needed. The landlord communicated very quickly for any of our needs and questions. Just a short walk over the dunes to the beach. We were warned about the mosquitoes, and it’s true! Bring some really good mosquito spray if you’re hanging out at the beach house outside! During the day, they weren’t bad at all, but one evening hit they were pretty plentiful. Of course we were told about the build ration system in the house for bathing and cooking, and that that it was safe. but it does have a really fishy smell so just be prepared for that. We went to a couple restaurants located in the area within 10 miles. We went to Clute Texas for breakfast at a place called Sweet Ts. We had Mexican food at a restaurant called El Himador(or something like that). And we had breakfast on our last day at Seahorse Bar and Grill right down the street from us. Looks like a cool place to hang out for drinks as well. All were really good food! We cooked out a couple nights with hamburgers and hotdogs. We cooked a couple meals in the kitchen. Make sure you bring your bottled water and all the groceries needed to cook at the house and on the grill. We had a great time!

Very nice stay and first time back to Surfside in years The weather cooperated until the last day and we enjoyed the short walk to the beach and did not find anything lacking at our rental.

It was clean and cute. Very simple.
However,
Couches were uncomfortable.
Coffee table very wobbly. Kitchen chairs wobbly. Downstairs/outside shower didn't work. And, the smoke detector went off in the middle of the night. The handyman did come by and take care of all issues. (Except the kitchen chairs because i didn't realize this until our last night there) The smoke detector did go off our last night there and i just unplugged it so we wouldn't have to deal with it again.
I was under the impression by pics and the comment i read of: a few feet from beach, that it was on the beach. It's not. It wasn't far but i wanted a house with full beach view. But, you make the best of what you get.
Jennifer was easy to get ahold of and answered quickly. She sent the handyman quickly to resolve known issues.
The home was cute. Beds comfortable.
I don't want to sound like I'm complaining because we did enjoy our time there and whenever you stay somewhere else there will be discomforts.
I won't stay again, only because it's not on the beach. That's my personal preference. But, i would definitely rent from Jennifer again.

My son had a blast for his 7th birthday! We loved it.. The location and place was just about right for the price listed. We would definitely recommend it to our friends if they want a quick and close getaway! Such a reliever from the hustle of the city and work….

It really is a very easy walk to the beach. We could easily go back and forth as needed. The beach area was clean and not overly busy. One thing I didn't know about Surfside Beach is that you can drive your car on the beach. It was odd to have cars on the beach but also useful to have an easy way to haul all of your items to the beach.
The house itself is small but has everything needed. The kitchen is well stocked. Our only challenge was low water pressure, which I hear is common for the island location. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to friends.

The renting of the actual property was easy and the property manager was easy to contact and responded quickly. However, the first thing I noticed when we got there was an old box spring under the house growing mosquitos. The house is nothing special and looks tired. We were exhausted after a long day of travel and excitement and when I went to put the kids to bed there were no sheets on the bed. This was extremely annoying but I guess it’s good to know they are cleaned. However, the most annoying part of this entire experience was definitely check out day. Despite what you are told there is a book with everything you have to do before you leave. So, instead of getting to play on the beach in the morning I got to spend 3 hours doing dishes and laundry instead of relaxing on my vacation. I could of saved money and stayed home to do that! I was never told about any “laundry option” and I read another review that touched on this and the manager’s response was that you could just leave the dishes in the dishwasher and the dryer but that’s not true according to the rules in the book left in the house. It says towels and sheets must be washed and folded and put away and that dishes must be cleaned not just put in the dishwasher. I’m not actually sure what the cleaning crew does because there were fur balls rolling around on the floor and dishes in the dishwasher when we got there.
Conclusion: Bring disposable plates,
Silverware and cups so you don’t have to deal with the dishes and bring your own pillows and sleeping bags and towels so you don’t have to get stuck doing tons of laundry on check out day. There is the threat of $50 charges for each little thing that you may accidentally forget like leaving a wet washcloth in the shower so beware! It was nice to be close to the beach though. I think we may try a different house next time.

My check-in process could have been better considering I booked weeks in advance and made full payment upon reservation, I did not receive access information until I arrived at the property and upon seeing the information nowhere accessible I messaged the owner. Jennifer was very quick to respond, however, it was at that point upon reading the information just provided that I find out of the need to bring mosquito repellant. A very important thing considering the mosquitoes are a good inch long (on the small side) and the container with "toys" is a quarter full with water and mosquitoes. The internet connection was extremely slow and I was outside a good 10 minutes before I was even able to get the access code to unlock the front door. Coming in you find the place that appears clean, and I did not confirm this considering we were rushing to get in the water (as expected). I did not open the shower or check the bathtub, or check the mattresses or blankets to see if they were clean or not. I assumed they would be considering I was charged the $100 cleaning fee. It wasn't until after our return from the beach and before I stepped in the shower that I noticed the sand on the edges of the shower and the dirty floor, same thing with the tub. Soon thereafter, before calling it a night, I find the mattress pad with a disgusting brown stain. I had seen some folded blankets on the edge of the bed upon arriving, however, I thought these were extra blankets. I did not expect these to be the blankets I would need to use to set my bed, and every bed, for the night. The beds were covered with a comforter already. I had to simply use those blankets over the mysterious brown spot as I was afraid that if I took the mattress cover off, the underlying mattress would be so much worse. This was in the master bedroom which I shared with my 10 year old niece, she is now full of bed bug bites. My brother slept in the bed next to the bunk beds and his pillow smelled like urine that he had to throw it over to one of those beds to get the stench away. The water smells as though it is reused septic water. The property description states this is water from the water well, however, we are used to using water from wells in my parent's ranch that doesn't stink as this. We had to wash all laundry and leave house clean for next guest yet we paid the cleaning fee for doing the owner's work and responsibility

We had a great time staying at this house. It's a short walk to the beach which was great. You got a great breeze and could see the ships on the intercoastal. The stairs outside where a little steep for my 70+ year old parents but not we handled it great. Overall it was amazing family get away. We look forward to coming again. Thank you

We had a great time staying at this house. It's a short walk to the beach which was great. You got a great breeze and could see the ships on the intercoastal. The stairs outside where a little steep for my 70+ year old parents but not we handled it great. Overall it was amazing family get away. We look forward to coming again. Thank you
