La Casita Verde se encuentra en un barrio rural tranquilo y bien establecido, a 10 minutos del centro de San Marcos y la Universidad Estatal de Texas, y a 15 minutos de los centros comerciales Outlet. Estamos convenientemente ubicados a 30 minutos o menos de Austin, New Braunfels, Gruene, Wimberley y Canyon Lake. Muchos restaurantes asequibles y lugares de música en vivo están cerca. We loved staying at this adorable cabin! For a small building, it has plenty of space indoors and out, and you will want to enjoy the beautiful country setting, cute outdoor seating area, and wonderful company of the host. The kitchen is well stocked and everything is as described in the listing. The host, Pam, was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to talk to. She gave us excellent suggestions for places to eat and made us feel so welcome and at ease.
The cabin is a great place to stay when visiting our college student and we will definitely be back.

The wildlife such as deer made arriving exciting and fun, the hosts were very welcoming & receptive the entire stay and made sure we were comfortable. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, THIS IS IT!

The little green house was just what we needed when visiting our grandson at Texas State University. It was comfortable and well stocked with everything.

Such a cute little house. Small but not tiny. Very smartly arranged to make it feel spacious. Loved all the windows around the top. Cute decor. Very relaxing and homey. Everything was top notch. New fixtures. Great towels. Fresh flowers in vase in bathroom. Even a little ring box for your jewelry.. you can tell the owners take pride in their home. Pam was very nice and gave us tips. Jimmy Buffett had just passed the day before so we commiserated over that loss. Had margaritas at a great downtown restaurant, Casa Maria. Nice outdoor space but too hot and humid to enjoy. We did see deer in the front yard.
Suggestions- an air conditioner in the bathroom could really enhance the experience. The split unit in the main house was great. The Murphy bed was a nice idea if you needed more space. It was comfortable too. Just a nice place to stay. I would definitely recommend it but wait till the Fall if possible. Thanks Pam and Danny.

We were looking for a weekend getaway for the three of us, and La Casita Verde was a great fit! Loved all of the special touches the hosts had thought of to make our stay comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
The only room for improvement was the sleeper sofa. There was NO way someone could sleep on the sofa bed. The mattress needs yo be replaced. One of us slept on the couch without pulling out the sofa, and it worked fine, but we would have had issues if we had a party of 4.

I was delighted with this charming country cabin. The space was open and comfortable and just right for me! Pam was a perfect hostess and very welcoming. I will certainly be a repeat guest! Loved it!

Beautiful place just outside the downtown area of San Marcos. Nestled in the country with all kinds of song, birds and other wildlife. Lots of plants and pretty flowers . Very relaxing getaway. :)

Quiet, clean, organized, and comfortable cabin with all full kitchen. Nice tree shaded patio. My son and I were in town for a long weekend of baseball and this was the perfect spot to decompress and prepare for the next day's games. Right down the street from Texas State Univ., river, and downtown. Highly recommended hosts.

In town to visit with my soon to be TXST graduate - wish I had found this place sooner. Cute little cabin with peaceful surroundings - especially love the outdoor seating area! Owner lives on the property and was readily available if we needed anything. The only negative was with the sofa sleeper, which had a very thin and uncomfortable mattress. It was just me on that bed, so I pushed it back in the 2nd night and just slept on the couch quite comfortably. I would definitely stay again.

Host was great. She met us at check in and was very responsive during our stay. The Casita location makes for a relaxing stay, and is very convenient to San Marcos.

Me and my wife needed to get away for a little bit and we chose to stay at the La Casita Verde. It was a terrific stay! The cabin was just as advertised: clean and just what we needed. The host met us there when we got there and was very helpful in places to go and eat and things to do and see in the area.
We will definitely let others know and will come back here when we visit the San Marcos area again.

Amazing property and host. Pam was great to work with. Casita is just as described. Great location, well stocked, very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting outside enjoying our morning coffee and having a nightcap. This is such a great find. We will be definitely be back.

My husband and I planned to “tour” San Marcos a a few days before needing to move our son into his dorm for his first year of college. Finding this place was luck. Everything was booked but we couldn’t have found a better place to stay. It’s just far enough to enjoy the peacefulness of the country and close enough to drive into town daily and enjoy the night life and all the great things San Marcos has to offer. It’s literally 3 miles away from The Square and university. We enjoyed the time we spent outdoors and all the hummingbirds and deer around us. We were able to cookout since there’s a grill and a full kitchen. We loved this place and look forward to visiting and staying here again.

This is a nice little property located in a very nice location. If you plan on visiting the San Marcos area, this is a good place to call home for a short time. Really enjoyed our stay.

Love this cozy cottage!
My wife and I just loved our stay here. Pam and Danny were great hosts. We didn't get in until 10:00 pm and they still came over to welcome us and explained how everything worked. Our daughter was moving into a new apartment so we had a pretty hectic and hard working stay this trip. The cottage was very comfortable and restful. We plan on staying again when we come back to the area.
Highly recommend this for a quiet little getaway!

The casita is adorable, comfortable, well-appointed and has wonderful natural light. There was even half and half in the fridge for my husband's coffee! The full kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The air conditioning is very good though we spent a lot of time in the outdoor area which is filled with beautiful plants and plentiful wildlife. The property, though not in town, is really very close yet you are in a semi-rural setting. We enjoyed the community pool and walking on the neighborhood roads. You couldn't ask for more welcoming hosts. We will defintely return.

This is our second year staying here and every time it’s great! Love the location because it’s nice and calming but still close enough to town. Will always stay here when in San Marcos
