The house, although a little dated was well equipped for a great family vacation. Our grandkids loved the pool. The house is located close to Walmart, Target and Stater Bros making groceries easy to pick up. Jessica and Justin were quick to help with a couple of questions. Loved that everything labeled and notes around the house to explain how to use things. It took the guess work finding the way things worked. Thanks for a great Holiday Home

I stayed here with my wife, mom, aunt, and 2 year old son. The layout of the home was really great for my family, and the safety alarms on the doors were super helpful for my young child. The rooms were comfortable and clean, overall a success. The pool was expensive to heat (we stayed in October) but it was really lovely. Views from the deck were great, an awesome outside hangout. We stocked up on bottled water and foods. There are some random leftovers from prior guests. It was convenient to where we were visiting family members, but was an expensive stay.

Stayed at the property while our daughter recovered from surgery. The pool area and sunroom are great places to relax as a family and we felt very at home during the stay. The owners were very easy to communicate with and even dropped by to give us the lighter for the fire pit after we could not locate one in the house.

Nice getaway
Great place to escape the Phoenix heat. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Pool was great. Our only complaint was the nest thermostat. We like it cool and it kept resetting to a temp that was too hot us. Overall excellent place. We would definitely book again.

Backyard Paradise!
Had such a great stay at this beautiful property. The pool and hot tub are almost too good to be true, well at least for a Midwesterner (great temperature!) Hosts were kind and communicative. Easy to travel to neighboring beaches, SD, etc.

We stayed here for 4 nights. It was really clean and in wonderful shape. You can tell that our hosts thought of everything they could to make our stay enjoyable, from an easy check-in process, to a video on how to use the spa, to a roku for streaming movies on the tv.
We had 4 adults, 2 of which were over 70. We had 3 kids that were 3, 5, and 7. Our stay wasn't during the warmest week, so we did pay to add-on the heated pool which worked great. The pool was a little deeper than I expected, but our kids can swim pretty well so it wasn't a problem.
We ended up spending a couple days in the pool and venturing out to San Diego on one of the days—which was just a short drive away. I'd definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to relax outside and visit surrounding venues.

We had 4 adults, 2 of which were over 70. We had 3 kids that were 3, 5, and 7. Our stay wasn't during the warmest week, so we did pay to add-on the heated pool which worked great. The pool was a little deeper than I expected, but our kids can swim pretty well so it wasn't a problem.

The owners were also VERY helpful and went over the top again when my husband forgot an important backpack on the property and the owner personally helped ensure the backpack was picked up by an Uber on our last day to be delivered at the airport with us.
On to the house. We vacationed with my family of 5, my parents, and my brother and we felt the layout worked perfectly for our group. We very much enjoyed the pool and the hot tub! We were worried that the deep pool would be too cold in March to swim but it was quite nice and the kids spent every day in it!
We would definitely rent this home again if we find ourselves in the area!

Although he lives next door we never felt ‘spied’ on and were very comfortable in the house. The pool and spa were wonderful, the view at any time of the day/night was fantastic. There are so many outside areas to enjoy with patio doors all around the house! Beds are comfortable, pool table was great and we played almost every evening with the grands. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this home was for us. The location is about 30-40 minutes from SD entertainment which was fine for us especially being able to return to the spa, pool, etc. We hope to stay again on our next trip! Thank you Justin for your hospitality and providing this great home to stay in.

California Dreaming
We rented this lovely home for a Thanksgiving family reunion. It was pure bliss. Jessica was so helpful and informative. Walking into the house felt like instantly stepping into a tropical vacation. The outdoor area is perfect for entertaining. We watched the sunset every night. I was so pretty up on the hill. We cooked a large Thanksgiving meal in Casa Del Norte's amole kitchen. It had all we needed. The kids enjoyed the pool table immensely. All the bedrooms were very comfortable. We will be back next year!

This house was just right for our family’s road trip. When we weren’t in the jacuzzi or pool, we were playing pool. Casa de Norte is a wonderful place to stay near San Diego.

A wonderful So Cal property
We were so pleased with our stay at Casa De Norte. The house was just as described and had everything we needed. The owners were extremely helpful during our stay and even took the time to come over and show us how to use the equipment for the pool and spa. While Vista is not a beach town, we found it easy to get to Carlsbad, Oceanside and other areas. I would recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a great family retreat.

The house was very well maintained and very clean. We were there with our two children ages 7 and 10 who loved jumping in the pool. There was plenty of space to spread out and all the essentials were included. It was a little further out than we expected so we used the car a lot to visit beaches and check out beach towns.

The house was perfect for the 6 of us and the kids were obsessed with the pool and hot tub. The outdoor living space was fantastic for the beautiful weather we had and the pool table was a super fun bonus too. Thank you for an amazing time!

My husband and I had a lovely time at Casa De Norte. It was our first time to the San Diego area and we enjoyed ourselves! The pool and hot tub were great and there was no need to ask them to heat the pool as we were provided a couple of days of nice weather. The TV/Living room was cozy and the bed was comfy! We loved playing games and eating meals under the pergola. We also liked having the pool table as additional entertainment. The landscaping was beautiful to look at and we enjoyed watching a couple little lizards scurry around as well as listen to the birds sing. The surrounding neighborhood was a bit of a mix in regard to upkeep, but the property and house itself were very well kept up. Make sure to stop at the store to grab all essentials as complimentary soaps, laundry detergent, etc. is not included. Oceanside Pier was a fun afternoon trip only 20
Minutes away and Downtown SD a bit further around 40. Overall a lovely time. Excited to visit SD again one day.

Clean, communication was great, pool was really nice, a good value for the price we paid. Good location for access to SD and Carlsbad. Neighborhood is “CA mixed” with some good and some no so much. Overall a quality home base for the area.

This is our second stay at Casa De Norte, that should tell you how much we enjoy it! The pool and hot tub is perfect for our kids (5 and 7). The outdoor living area is great for watching the kids, lounging with family, reading in the evening, etc.The home is peaceful and lovely. Enjoy!
