We so enjoy staying at Hidden Cove. The space is perfect, with nearly every window showing a beautiful view of Lake Superior. SHT and mountain biking are what we come for, and the location could not be better. The owner is lovely and very responsive. 10 out of 10.

Fabulous place to stay. Very close to the water

Sandi’s home was lovely. We stayed there in late December and enjoyed a short drive up to Grand Marais for hiking and three days of skiing at Lutsen Mountains. The sunrise and sunset over the lake each day was a highlight. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. Thanks Sandi!

This was our fourth stay at this property and we had another wonderful visit. Great kitchen for cooking and we either ate or made most of our meals there. Sandy is an exceptional host and always makes us feel so welcome. Weather was even great, or first clear day so we did the gondola ride .

We loved our time here. It was a great getaway and we hope to return!

Comfortable upstairs condo with a 5 star Lake view. One can hike along an embankment for a closer view, but there is no beach, but there was some rock outcroppings that one could sit on. The home is far enough off highway 61 that traffic noise was no problem. The location was perfect for us. Close to all the hiking trails we wanted and not far to Grand Marais. Campgrounds are also near so our friends who were camping joined us for hiking.and other activities. We would not hesitate to rent this VRBO again!

We enjoyed our stay at "Hidden Cove". The rental unit is the second floor of Sandi's home overlooking Lake Superior. The place is nicely furnished, roomy and the beds were comfortable. There were ample plates, silverware etc. and an incredible number of coffee mugs. There's a path that leads to a short walk, down the hill on a narrow somewhat steep path that takes you to a closer view of lake. Sandi was very personable and loves to talk to visitors. We could take short walks up the long gravel driveway and walk to the end of the gravel road or its an easy drive to the many hiking trails in the area. You have a beautiful view of the lake from the deck - a nice place to sit and read etc. A couple of things to consider - if getting yourself or your stuff up the (17?) steps to the unit is a problem, this place probably won't work for you. We were OK with it. Also the tap water doesn't taste the best so you might want to bring a filter or bottled water.

Location was great, view was unbeatable, host was communicative and gracious.

Beautiful spot right on the coast overlooking lake Superior. We stayed here for the weekend of the Fall Superior Trail Race and it was the perfect spot. Easy access to the race course and a mere 4 minutes from the finish line. Sandy is so kind and thoughtful. The condo is well equipped, clean, and comfortable. The windows and deck provide panoramic views. Wonderful all around.

Everything we need plus a fantastic view of Lake Superior! Lovely location away from the main road but with easy access to amenities like groceries, gas, and a laundromat. Sandi is warm, welcoming, and a good communicator - my 6yo appreciated her as much as we did. Comfy beds and sofa, stunning views, and an adventurer's path to the lakefront on property (getting down is easy, but getting back up can be a scramble.) We will definitely be back!

We hiked, went to Fisherman's Picnic in Grand Marais, rock hinted and enjoyed our evening LS playing games, Bible Study and singing.....

This was a nice location to stay for our annual family vacation on the North Shore. The views of Lake Superior from inside the rental are beautiful, plus the host has many pretty flowers growing around her property. But the thing that made this stay special for our family was getting to meet the host, as she was charming and friendly with every member of family, including our chatty 9 year old daughter.

Well maintained and very comfortably appointed, Kitchen had every thing we needed and was spacious as well.

Close to everything on the North Shore, but quiet. Views of the Lake were outstanding!

We were just looking for accommodations for the Lutsen99er race. Planned to drive to the start but this location was only about 1/2 mile from the start. Beautiful views of Lake Superior and the gardens are so nice. Very nice accommodations. Clean, well appointed and Sandy was a very helpful host. We had a wonderful stay

This is our 2nd year staying at Hidden Cove. It is very cozy with a wonderful view of Lake Superior. It is just down the road from the entrance to Lutsen Mountain where we skied for several days. It was the perfect location for us and highly recommend. Also many restaurants and local music close by. Sandi was a wonderful host and available if needed. We will certainly plan to stay again. Loved everything about this property. Clean, well stocked, comfortable, AMAZING view, lots of privacy. It’s perfect! Sandi also went out of her way to send back my wedding and engagement ring, which I had left at the house. Saved me from some serious panic! 10/10 stay. Will stay here again, no question!

The place is very clean and cozy and lovingly decorated for the season, which made us feel right at home! The kitchen was full of dishes and utensils and anything else we needed. The lake view from the dining room is magnificent so my husband just skipped skiing and sat there all day :) The only thing I missed a bit is a bath tub - there are only two showers. It would be nice to soak in a tub after a day on the hills. The host was super nice and responsive. We arrived late and I texted her a question around 11 pm and she called me back within a minute to answer! Will be coming back to stay here again for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay here this winter. It's right across Highway 61 from Lutsen, making it a great location for skiers. Well-appointed kitchen with plenty of room to maneuver, and great conversation spaces. Stunning views of Lake Superior. Friendly host who was really responsive and helpful when we didn't understand the heating system.

Great house with stunning views of Lake Superior. Also, right across the highway from the ski mountain if that's what you're going for. Host was wonderful.

Second time staying and we enjoyed the great location getting to hiking spots both north and south very easily, a wonderful kitchen for cooking (we only ate out one meal), and the best views of the lake. Stepping out of our car and hearing the crash of the waves was divine.

Beautiful view of the lake, condo clean and well stocked, Sandi was very helpful and attentive, We can't wait to return!

Traveled the coast and went to the popular sites. Waterfalls, hiking, site seeing. Just gorgeous!

Sandi is the perfect host -- sweet, kind, caring. She went out of her way to make sure we had a lovely week. The property is gorgeous. If I could have taken home the deck that overlooks the lake, well, it would have been gone! The kitchen is spacious and incredibly well stocked. Overall it was a great week!

We enjoyed our stay. Listening to the waves was relaxing. Location was great.

Fabulous location for a lovely property

Great Spot! Awesome little beach! Close to Grand Marais and Cascade Park. I also had the pleasure of riding the Jackpot trail and bombing down the road straight to the cabin at the end of the last day. So much fun!

We had a wonderful time in Lutsen. Centrally located to many trails. Incredible view of the lake from kitchen and back porch.

Three of my planned guests got Covid & could not come, but VRBO / Owner charged me for them anyway - no partial refund. You'd be wise not to book any guests until they arrive.
