We previously stated at this property and returned for another wonderful stay. They house was a clean and comfortable, in a cove on the lake so safe for kids to swim, well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and laundry. The owner is extremely responsive for anything one may need. We will be back!

Great place to relax on the water. Comfortable inside and beautiful outside. Deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and great fishing off the dock or at the nearby pond. Beautiful night skies. We saw Starlink satellites flying overhead 2 nights in a row after launches those days. Tripp is an amazing host, super responsive, and makes great recommendations on what to do in the area.

This was the second time we’ve stayed here! We call it the antique house! It’s filled with super cool old farm tools, arrowheads, antiques and more! We feel right at home there!

The week at the lakehouse was very relaxing and brought the family together for some well needed down time. The property truly provided this with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for all. Must say we spent a good bit of time in the lake enjoying the great location in the cove with floating, kayaks and stand up paddle boards provided by the hosts. I would highly recommend this property for a great family fun time and a very attentive host, who when I had a question responded very quickly!!

We really enjoyed staying in Tripp's property. The location is fantastic and so is the Landing subdivision it's located in. We loved the cove the house sits in, our girls swam all day off the dock and enjoyed the paddle boards as well.
The fishing off the dock was one of the best we've experienced on Lake Oconee. We'd definitely come back to this property again!

This was a wonderful lake home for our family vacation! It accommodated 7 adults perfectly! Beautiful, serene location on Lake Oconee with close access to everything you need, including boat and jet ski rentals. The host is super! Great communication throughout the rental process. Would highly recommend staying here! We will definitely book it again!

We had a very relaxing fun week! Enjoyed sitting on the dock, reading on the deck, kayaking, fishing, walks around the beautiful neighborhood. Host was great informing us on what would be helpful during our stay. We look forward to returning soon.

We had an awesome New Year's weekend! So relaxing.... Tripp was wonderful! He made sure everything was taken care of for us. Even left us a handwritten welcome note with a gift basket upon our arrival. Definitely recommend this beautiful lake house!

We stayed at Tripp’s house for a week in August and it was fabulous! The house was clean and convenient to everything. and it was stocked with all you could need.The waterfront location and neighborhood were also just great. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again. Additionally, The owner is amazing and communicates with you about absolutely everything. He is available on a constant basis and gets back to you immediately. I would highly recommend this property.

This property was perfect for a relaxing long weekend with our family of teenagers, parents and grandparents. The host is is very organized with welcoming communication, the home is clean, warm and inviting, and the lake location was perfect.

Above and Beyond Wonderful!
Click "Book" now before you lose the chance to stay at this fantastic lake house! It was spotlessly clean, large yet cozy and feels like you're living in a cool museum.
The owners truly went above and beyond! Communication was fast and frequent. They answered any questions before I'd even asked them and made a chaotic time in our lives so much easier.
We rented their incredible home for a week while we sold one house and waited to close on our new one. Both my husband and I work from the house, and the wifi was awesome!
They allowed us to have our dogs with us and even cleared out a space in the garage for us to store some things like our bikes and other larger items we moved ourselves. They were incredibly accommodating with check-in and check-out times knowing moving days are pure chaos.
I cannot say enough good things about Tripp and his family as owners or their fantastic lake house. If you still haven't clicked "Book," do it right now before someone else does.

Home away from home
The property was absolutely perfect. The inside of home was extremely clean; however the outside needed some attention. The home needed a really good pressure cleaning. The owner was very easy to work with and was very accommodating!

The house is like a mini antique museum. We were never got tired of looking their wonderful antique collections everywhere in the house.

The owner is very accommodating!
My family had a wonderful time at this rental. It is quite spacious with 5 bedrooms. Two bedrooms have a lake view and plenty of bathrooms to accommodate our family of four. We had some complicated logistics and Tripp was so very accommodating to make our trio as easy as possible. I actually made an error by booking us 1 day short of what we needed and Tripp took it all in stride and let me Paypal him for the extra night. Sorry again about that Tripp! The 2 paddle boards and 1 kayak were a real bonus and we used them most days in the quiet cove right outside of the house. Could not have asked for more!

A Great family weekend
All exactly as described and more. Nice quiet cove, we enjoyed watching sunset and catching catfish off the dock, water sports and nice area for walking. Great accommodating host with everything stocked and in good order. A super fun place!

Great location and house - host was very informative!!
This is a house with a great location on Lake Oconee, decorated very "lake like" with artifacts from the surrounding area EVERYWHERE!! The only negative was that due to COVID restrictions, many of the establishments were not open and the restaurant selection was limited. Provided SUPs and kayak were great for use on the lake and the upstairs "game room" was great during rainy days. Host was great and very detailed. Would definitely go back!!

Perfect Getaway!
This was the perfect location from our home… just under four hours and we were Lakeside. The property is well-kept and very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked, beds are comfortable and ALL of the sitting areas are perfect for family and game nights!
The SUP boards and kayak were a bonus as well.
Thank you Tripp so much... for sharing your home with us during this crazy time! Hoping something opens up in the fall so we can return!

A Great Home for Summer Fun!
Our family of five and our fur babies spent a month at this home and had a wonderful stay. The owner was very responsive any time we needed anything and provided great restaurant recommendations. The amenities of fishing, ping pong, paddle boarding, and kayaking, were just what we were looking for to keep our 3 boys busy on summer break and enjoying the lake. There was ample room for our family as well as inviting our families to join us on weekends. The neighborhood was wonderful as well for our morning walks, spotting deer, bunnies, and other wild life along the way.

Socially Distant Relaxation!
This was our third visit to Tripp’s home, and it was perfect as usual! We love the location. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We loved relaxing on the deck and the dock, and paddling around on the kayak and paddle boards. Can’t wait to go back!

Tripp’s Home is a must!
Could not have been easier to rent this home! We had four kids under the age of 12 and four adults. Perfect amount of space with an abundance of activities to keep the kids busy! The wildlife was amazing. We saw chipmunks baby deer that was not more than a day or two old, rabbits and all kinds of different birds.
Tripp could not have been any easier to get in touch with, super responsive and welcomes questions. I gave four stars for cleanliness only because the exterior could use a power wash for cobwebs. Having said that, it is a Lakehouse....cobwebs on the exterior are to be expected, I just have a bit of an irrational fear of spiders! Interior was immaculate!
Oh and if you are lucky enough to get the downstairs master, SUPER comfy with awesome water pressure in the shower!
Will definitely recommend!

Perfect Family Get Away
Perfect location in a secluded cul-de-sac with tons of family activities! The kids enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding, and I enjoyed beating them in ping pong! We ended each day with s’mores around the fire pit. A good time was had by all...

Great Lake House getaway!
Our family of 4, plus our small dog, had a wonderful 9 days at Tripp's lake house. He is super friendly, extremely responsive and wonderfully hospitable. The house is fun, very well laid out and in a great location. We love the dock located in a quiet cove. The house had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful getaway
My sons and I wanted to get away where we could enjoy the outdoors. Tripp’s home was perfect. The paddle boards and kayak, as well as the fishing poles, made it a peaceful but fun retreat. The home is located on a quiet canal so the kids could paddle around without worry of speed boats. Would definitely go back here sometime.

Just what the doctor ordered for social distancing
Overall our stay was fantastic. During this time of national crisis, it was great to get away for some R&R. We rented a boat and spent a couple of days on the open water...it was very therapeutic. The home was clean and well appointed. The outside of the home could use a little attention...cleaning of cobwebs and pressure washing, but overall, it was lovely.

Family Getaway
My family and I had such a great time on this family vacation. Tripp was incredibly helpful with a boat rental and golf course locations. The kitchen even had everything we needed to Thanksgiving Dinner. Thank you, Tripp for opening your home. It was a week of some great memories!

Labor Day Love
We had an amazing Labor Day weekend at this lake house. We especially enjoyed using the kayak and paddle boards. Situated in a cul-de-sac, so our kids and their friends were able to swim without worrying about pass through traffic.
Tripp was extremely helpful and very responsive. We rented a boat from Typhoon Tommy’s and had a great experience with them as well.
We’ll definitely be back again!!

Wonderful place for a family event
We and our family of eight enjoyed the house immensely. We did have do a good of "baby-proofing" but it was not onerous and the grand kids loved looking at all of the artifacts and artwork.

Family vacation
Our family of 7 loved staying at the Sims’ Lakehouse home. The house was spacious, the art was charming, and we loved access to the fire pit and dock out back. We went swimming in the lake every day!
We were really impressed with how easy it was to communicate with the house owner. If we had any questions, he responded swiftly and was very helpful/accommodating.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing spot on Lake Oconee.
