Our whole family (18 of us) stayed at this house and it was absolutely perfect John was super friendly and willing to answer all our questions. Upon arrival the house was clean and it was more than we expected We had lots of room for everyone and more the walk to the beach was just a few minutes The house pool was enjoyable in the afternoons and the club house pool was perfect break from the ocean we had such a great time we are already picking our dates to come back next year

The house is amazing ! It is set up so nice and the pool is great. Short walk to the beach with club pool access. The only negative we have were that the beds weren’t very comfortable. Other than that we wouldn’t change a thing ! We will book again !

The last couple of places I have rented for our annual family reunion were nice - close to the beach, nice furniture, adequate kitchen but they lacked one thing: a gracious host. My questions about the property were ignored or replies were demeaning and hostile. But this year John has answered all questions quickly and with grace - even the "stupid" ones.
This property has all the great amenities that are listed and one more that isn't: the host. Thanks John for an extra special reunion.

John was an amazing host. Responsive to all my texts and it was so nice to actually speak with him prior to our trip. The house did have some cleaning issues and John offered to have the crew come back the next day. The reason for a rating of 4 is the house was not as well stocked as most of the OIB rentals we have had in the past. No dish towels, missing things such as can opener, grill lighters, no pantry items other than salt and pepper. Pool was a great size and we really enjoyed it. House had a few maintenance issues but I let John know about them all and he said he reported them to maintenance so I’m sure they will be taken care of soon. Very short walk to the beach through the clubhouse. Loved that we could walk to the weekly vendor fair, ice cream and shops! Our family of 15 had a great week.

We really enjoyed our stay. We booked this house while we were in Ocean Isle Beach for our wedding. We had plenty of room for our family. We were able to host a rehearsal dinner. The location is great. We loved the pool! We would definitely stay here again!

This is our families 2nd time staying at one of John’s properties. He is always responsive to questions and great to work with. This house is great for a big family trip. The bedrooms are good sizes, great location for easy beach access, and it was very clean. We would definitely rent this again!

The home is beautiful & spacious. The owner was accommodating. Very attentive & response time was great. My complaint is the home is bare of necessities. There was no toilet paper on arrival. I don’t expect to have a full house of paper goods but no toilet paper at arrival is not acceptable to me. I was told it was because I booked through VRBO. I’ve rented homes before & there’s always a little bit of extra stuff. I believe cleaning people or previous renters take it all.
Overall I would rent from owner again. As I stated before he was very responsive & attentive.

John was quick to reply and very helpful. Note that linens are not provided (sheets, towels, pillow cases); toilet paper and paper towels were also not provided. The beds were not the most comfortable but it was a good deal overall. Also note that the bunk room has 2 sets of bunks (may be confusing bc the listing says 4 twin bunk beds - we thought that meant 4 sets! But that was our oversight and it all worked out fine). Place was clean and ready for us when we arrived and the area was nice and quiet. Walking distance to the beach.

Our families really enjoyed our stay here, we enjoyed the heated pool and the clean living space. Kitchen was well stocked and the large table was perfect. John communicated early with me before the arrival date and was pleasant to work with throughout the process. Definitely on our list to return.

Nice property close to the beach. Clean, appliances a bit finicky, but they are older so understandable. Issues with ceiling fans resolved quickly and response from manager was great. Would certainly stay again.

Such a beautiful house and so clean! The pool was great for the kiddos and adults too! The walk to the clubhouse was easy and we even used the pool at the clubhouse a few times! Such a great location! Will be staying again if we choose beach for next year!

We really enjoyed this house. The listing was accurate and provided everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable and the amount of outside furniture served our family well. The proximity to the beach was great for our whole family!

The beach. This house was great for us. Very close to the ocean and the community pool entrance is great for going to the ocean. John was great to deal when a storm knocked the cable out and I texted him he called the company and they came out and fixed it. He responds very quickly.

This house was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The location is close to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the pier and shopping area. The beach club is a big plus and the neighborhood is nice for walks. We had a great time staying at this house!

We had a wonderful time there. The location was great with quick and easy access to the beach and a private crabbing pier. It was close enough to walk to get ice cream everyday!! The house was beautiful and rooms were very roomy!!

I can’t say enough great things about this home! It was EXTREMELY clean to say the least, every room has their own bathroom which just makes it that much better for multiple families to share the home. John is very responsive and even called us to talk about check in the day before, which I appreciated. The beach is literally a five minute walk and that was so great with the small children we had.
We did struggle to get the cable to work but most of us brought a Roku or Apply tv so wasn’t a huge deal. There are many cooking dishes which was great but less room for storage for food items for the week.
Overall 5+ stars! We will be back next year and may check out your sister property. Thank you so much!

Property was very well cleaned and maintained. Lots of room. Pool area was nice. Plenty of parking space. Loved the decks/porches. Kitchen was nice. Total thumbs up for this property! Planning my next trip to OIB already. It was our first stay in this area as we typically stay in north myrtle. The drive wasn’t too bad to go visit my favorite food spots in barefoot landing. Thank you to the owners for a lovely home to stay in!

Rented this home for a long family weekend. The home was clean on our arrival, pool heated upon request and quick responses from the owner. The home was spacious with plenty of room for a large group, the bunk room was perfect for the kids and there was a very short walk to the beach.

Our church ladies‘ retreat was very enjoyable in this house. It is spacious, has comfortable beds, and it’s an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked, but our one suggestion would be to add some shelves or a pantry cabinet for guests to put their groceries/food. It is a very comfortable home, and we would definitely rent again!

We had a great time in Ocean Isle Beach. It was our third time there, first time at this VRBO. We were directly across street from our other friends and family. I would highly recommend this property. The location and pool area were perfect!
