El Clarkdale Lodge está situado en el centro para su aventura el norte de Arizona! Nice place for the history and age. Really needed the ground floor because of being handicapped, but nice view from second floor.

Assumption was made since there were two people, they would use the bed. We had no linens for the sleeper sofa, but they were delivered upon a phone call. Crumbs under the cushions, very bad mattress. Good location for Sedona.

I stayed in #202 for a 2-week work assignment. It was clean, quiet, & comfortable! The host responded quickly when I had any questions & was great to work with. I would stay here again!

Room needs to be fumigated
When opening the bed, several moths flew out. Moving pillows, sheets, curtains, towels and any cloth items were infested with moths. After putting my own bar of soap in the shower, and entering it later…a large roach was on it.
Furniture was a mix of secondhand castoffs. The entry had multiple flowerpots with dead plants.. unkept grounds. The room I reserved in February was not available. Was given another..
The Lodge has great potential, but little effort is given to improve it.

Sweet & Simple
It's older, but clean and charming. We had a wonderful corner room which was very comfortable. Everything we needed was in the room and there is a laundromat just a block or two from the lodge. This made it convenient for cleaning our hiking clothes. Verde Canyon Railroad, Dead Horse Ranch State Park, Tuzigoot National Monument, and the Arizona Copper Art Museum are just a few of the many treasures within Clarkdale or a few miles walk or drive. When in Clarkdale, be sure to sample some of the local brews or enjoy brunch/lunch at Violette's or the Main Street cafe. All within walking distance of the lodge.

Cottonwood and Clarkdale ---> Sedona
This building is probably over 100 years old, so much of the infrastructure has been upgraded to support modern technology and utilities, electricity, cable, plumbing, etc.
I am so glad we stayed here instead of Sedona. Cottonwood Old Town is fantastic and we loved Jerome and Clarkdale too.

Very cute and quaint property, just enough for what we were looking for. Owner was very responsive to questions and place was clean and tidy. Would recommend if wanting an affordable place to stay while visiting Sedona 😊

The Best Morning Light
We were very comfortable in #202. Loved waking up to the sunrise and enjoyed the panoramic view from the back deck. The location is perfect for appreciating the mellow Clarkdale vibe. When our coffeemaker malfunctioned, the hosts responded immediately and replaced it with a new one. We would definitely return!

The only suggestion would be to come up with a better, more permanent situation for the shower pole and a longer shower curtain in suite 202.

The historic property fit perfectly in our plans...we should have read the email prior to arrival - there was some confusion on our part when there was no one to check us in to our room... the room (apartment) was nice - it was a good weekend!

Very pleasant stay
Great place, has everything you need and very affordable. Loved that it was in the center of Cottonwood, Jerome and Sedona. The people in Clarkdale are very friendly. My only suggestion would be to have blackout curtains to make the rooms darker.

Room was super nice. Clean. Great spot. Walk into town things to do and see. Minutes from Cottonwood and Jerome - both fun places as well. Great Museum. Check out the old bank that is now a wine bar................ fun history.

Nice Place in Clarkdale
Fine place in Clarkdale. Older building, but clean as a whistle, plenty of privacy if you want it and super accommodating hosts if you need them. The view deck is the perfect spot for an evening glass of wine. It’s an easy walk to great breakfast at the Market or a fresh made pastry at Violett’s.

Loved the totally refurbished 1912 vibe and retro furniture. Fun!
We had a slight mix-up at first but Daniel was so kind and caring and made everything wonderful for our stay. We would definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends and family.

Great Location, Clean, Quiet, Safe & Walkable.
Clarkdale is a little town nestled in the mountains between Jerome, Cottonwood and Sedona and is a good base for holidays in the Verde Valley. We rented unit 202, upstairs at the front of the building for two weeks in February/March 2018 and found it to be very livable. The internet is fast and reliable, cell service is good and there is a laundromat nearby. The Lodge is surrounded by quiet streets which are ideal for dog walking and meeting the locals.
We had a great time and will come back again.

Such a cute place to stay!
This place was perfect! The deck out back with the hammocks on the lower level and the huge seating area up top were perfect to watch the sunset. So relaxing, and a short walk to a few local restaurants. The room is beautiful, clean, modern, just perfect! We will definitely be back.

Cute, quiet vintage apartment close to Sedona
My husband and I stayed over the Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed this place. This is a full one-bedroom apartment, and it is small but has all you would need, including a full kitchen that is pretty well stocked. Close to Sedona, Jerome, Cottonwood. The upstairs shared patio was really nice with great views, and there's a nice park across the street. It's definitely an older vintage apartment so the kitchen and bath are not too modern, but they are cute and clean. I would stay here again.
