The place is in a good location. Property was clean. An issue with parking (we got a ticket), but management company said they would take care of it.

Rental was clean, plenty of kitchen ware and you could watch the gondolas from your window. A little outdated and lots of stairs but fireplace worked great and kids had a great time snowboarding.

Had a great 3 night stay. After getting home from a 6 hour drive, found out I left my briefcase with laptop, personal info and a couple thousand in cash. After a brief conversation with Kristie, she assured me housekeeping would secure it with no worries. As promised, it was secured until arrangements could be made to get it back in my hands. Would definitely book that unit again. If planning on booking it, you might want to bring a sharp knife (if you need one for cooking prep) cone style coffee filters, AAA batteries for the remote.

Very comfortable spot in Northstar-easy walk to the village and close to both Truckee and King’s Beach.
A good amount of space (King size bed is upstairs) for our family of four and two frenchies.
Excellent communication from checkin to checkout.

The condo was very nice, very clean. We were disappointed that a lot of the places in the village were closed. I should have checked the number of steps involved to get to the condo (16 down and 24 up). We are in our 80s, so we didn't need all of those steps 😊

Just as described. Worked perfect for my wife and I, my son, his friend and our four-legged family member. Love the vibe and location of the ski trail condos. Everything was smooth sailing and look forward to coming back.

We've stayed at many of the neighboring properties over the last 15 years, and as a result bring up a mighty Subaru load of supplies.
No need here. The spot was clean, there was adequate and succinct signage, and much of our stuff stayed in the storage tubs.
Our adult son took the lower room and we settled into the upper loft suite. There was plenty of bedding and pillows for my crew.
It's easy for me to recommend this spot, and hope to use it again.

Great condo very convenient skiing to Northstar. Communication and check-in with owner was easy. The place was clean, beds comfortable and kitchen fully stocked. Would stay here again for sure.

The snowplow driver ran into the back of our parked car, breaking the lights and crushing the tailgate. Fortunately, we were down the street at the time talking to others and we all witnessed it. The plow company gave me his contact information and I will need to followup with their insurance.

Our first time in Northstar. You can easily walk / ski / shuttle to the main lift and central village for food, drinks, convenience store and ice rink (my daughters are also figure skaters so that was especially fun).
Having all of the amenities so close and watching the gondolas from the living room was awesome.
Wi-Fi worked great and the owner was very responsive to my one very dopey question, lol. Can't ask for more- the family loved the mountain too. We'll be back! Our first time in Northstar. Just needed somewhere to sleep during our stay for a tournament, we actually liked this place more than we expected and even decided to hang out around the pool/ hot tub instead of exploring the area with the small amount of free time we had while staying there.

My family and I just got back from a wonderful stay at Northstar. This condo had everything we needed. The location was wonderful, as it skipped all of the traffic coming and leaving Northstar. We were able to ski down the parking lot (because there was so much snow) to the trail. This allowed us to skip hauling all of our equipment with us. The property managers were easily reachable by text if we had any questions. I would stay here again.

We stayed for three nights with our two teenagers and dog, and were very happy with the condo. It was clean, well furnished, and just as promised. We’ve stayed in this condo complex before - GREAT location, walking distance to slopes and village, and would definitely stay in this unit again. Property management was very responsive - so refreshing! (Have not always had that experience) Only hiccup was that the dishwasher would not run but they were working on it when we arrived.

This was a great place for us to relax after a hard day of work. The property is in a nice quiet neighborhood and we woke every morning well rested ready to start the day.this would be a great place to get away from it all on vacation

This condo was great as it was walking distance to restaurants and the rec center with the pool. The managers were responsive.
The only negative thing about this place is that there is no A/C. We knew that going in but we’re told that there were floor fans in every bedroom and in the living room. However there was just one floor fan in the living room. The master bedroom is a loft on the second floor was very stuffy and hot, even with the windows open would not get cool. It was so uncomfortable our toddler son threw up at night.
So just a warning to families with little kids to bring your own fans.

Had a great time visiting Truckee and Lake Tahoe and the condo at the resort was a great place to stay relax. The resort had great amenities and restaurants and great little grocery store… Definitely stay again.

Based on the description and the price I expected so much more. I have stayed at many resorts and this is just mediocre. When the amenities boast a spa and pool it doesn’t say it’s a mile walk. There was no map of the property in the unit and was very frustrating.

Overall the rental was acceptable and a reasonable value. The condition of the condo was generally adequate, though if you're planning to sleep on the hide-a-bed of the couch, you probably should rethink that plan. The location of this unit required a decent amount of walking (probably 200 yards) to get to the ski trail, so while it beats riding the bus or driving down to the drop off area, it's not like a few steps out your door and you're skiing. The kitchen had a reasonable selection of dishes and cooking utensils. Also, the unit was fairly quiet. The ski locker was convenient and eliminated the need to haul your ski gear up and down the 3 flights of stairs, which was nice. We received significant snowfall during our week long stay and the maintenance crew did a good job of shoveling the long flight of stairs from the parking lot to the condo building.

Easy walk to lifts and Northstar village. Not really ski-in technically, unless you are very adventurous. Ski locker and laundry access both huge pluses. We would definitely come back, especially since our beloved dog could join us. Bedding and some of the throw pillows could use a refresh, but still is good condition.

My family rented this condo for a long weekend of snowboarding. The condo has a nice layout. Plenty of space for our family of four and our two little dogs. I love the fact that the place is dog-friendly, but also clean, no pet smells! It is a very short walk to the Gondola, making it extremely convenient to hit the slopes early and to get to the village at the end of the day for dinner, shopping, movies, etc. We also took advantage of the recreation center, which was well equipped and also easy to access. The kitchen has plenty of supplies from pots and pans, to baking ware and utensils. I would definitely book this condo again in the future.Here are my complaints, just as a heads up for those coming in the future. Both bathrooms had conditioner but no shampoo. I had to go to the village to buy some after being caught unaware in the shower on the first day and having to resort to hand soap. Next time I would bring my own. The kitchen, although well stocked in terms of supplies to cook with and eat on, was missing some key items. There was a coffee maker but no filters. I was not going to buy filters for a maker that was not mine, so we used paper towels as filters. That worked. Also, there was no dish-washing detergent; although, the instructions say to start the dishwasher when you check out. I believe people have been running the dishwasher with no soap for some time because most of the bowls, glasses and mugs were coated with stuck on flecks of food and scum. I had to go to the village to buy dish-washing detergent in order to properly clean the dishes. So, bring your own!!

the property and location was great. It was hot during out stay, so we wanted to be at the pool or lake, which provided challenges.The pool required online reservations to limit attendees due to C-19, and it was very hard to find available times on the weekend as it was fully subscribed already by the time we received the information. The Northstar property required masks which we really appreciated. Going to the lake was a different story- very few people wore masks and social distancing was not enforced - scary and we didn't feel safe at the lake so opted for hiking on the Northstar property instead, which was great!

We had a terrific time at this Condo. The location is great - 1.5 blocks to Condo Trail. Kitchen and utensils are in good shape. Beds are foam and keep you warm. We did not bring our lab up this time but will keep that in mind next time.

We usually shy away from the Ski Trails condos because we find them to be pricey and generally old, but this was the exception. The condo was clean, recently updated, quiet and comfortable. My kids complained about the squeaky beds but they slept fine after all that skiing. The shared washer/dryer was just a few steps away from the condo, clean and easy to use. The dryer was nice for drying some of our wet ski clothes. The kitchen had the basics, though as usual, we did brought our own kitchen knives. About the ski in-ski out....well it was more like walk 3-5 minutes carrying your skis and then ski. We had a giant snow storm while we were there and there was still some walking to be done. But it was certainly easier than skiing to the village and then taking the shuttle. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay there again.

Due to the storm hitting Friday, Vacay let us check in early to avoid driving in the snow. The place was great for 2 couples. It's a short (10 minute) walk to the Northstar Village. And you can ski back to the parking lot for a quick walk back to the condo.
