Beds were comfortable and lots of seating in great room for everyone to hang out! Because we cook all meals, the kitchen is important to us, not once did we miss anything needed to prepare meals. We normally pick a different house every year but everyone agreed this house would be a great repeat if we return to deep creek for our fall getaway next year! We couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice. Oh, and Taylor Made is great to work with! I sent several emails prior with questions and the responses were quick and customer service is excellent!

The only drawbacks were the driveway, difficult to get in and out of with 3 cars, and the beds were a little soft. The place was in great shape and the front lot was excellent for easy access to the lake.

We rented a boat and the dock was very convenient. The only complaint I would have is that the lower level was very musty smelling and the kitchen was a bit small. The oven was a little on the old/worn side but worked. The living room furniture was slightly worn but overall the cabin was great. Oh and remember it's Well water so the water in the showers will smell a little funny. But we had a great time and will book again in the summer time.

All the beds and furniture were in very good shape and comfortable. Some minor age showing in chairs by the fire pit, a range burner that didn't work and coffee machine stopped working. Enjoyed mountain coaster and archery at WISP and hiking at Swallow Falls.

Excellent view of DCL directly from the house/deck, distance and slope to lake very reasonable. Nice shoreline and good swimming. House was clean and comfortable for the 9 of us with great overall layout (upper and lower family rooms, comfortable bedrooms, pool table). Kitchen a little small compared to everything else, but big dinning table. Dock, fire-pit, hot tub all very good. Good central location on very quiet road. Prior renters left large amount of trash outside of trash bin which was also full, called Taylor-Made and they quickly came out and removed it all. Would gladly stay here again, only downside was we had very limited success fishing from the dock compared to some other homes we have stayed at on DCL.

The only disappointment was that the hot top water was green and smelled like algae. We called to have them shock it and they said they "wouldn't come out just for that." One of the MAIN reasons that we chose this house was for the hot tub. It is unfair to show a hot tub as an AMENITY that you can add to your search and then have it be unusable. I think a partial refund is called for.

This is the first time we were disappointed with the home. The water had a horrible stench of sulfur and we felt dirtier after a shower. All clothes washed also had the horrible smell. There is only 1 thermostat for the entire home which lead to 2 tempatures, Hades or the Arctic. We called Taylor Made and they did provide a solution of space heaters. Also, the pictures show the hot tub on the porch for a little privacy, upon arrival the hot tub was at a different location directly in front of the neighbors window. Instead of the hot tub being a few feet from the door for easy use, it is farther away.

Although some of the recent evaluations had said that the property was not clean, we found it to be perfectly clean and an extremely comfortable place. I interacted with the management company before we went and found them to be very responsive to special requests. My group of women had a wonderful time there in spite of the fact that it rained the whole weekend, and we would rent this same property if we return to Deep Creek Lake.

Our multi-generational family stayed here for a week - six adults and five kids 4-16. You can't beat the location of this rental - close to everything, situated on the beautiful lake. The floating pier was great, boat launch was close by, we were able to launch our kayaks right from the shore. Be aware of standing water near the shoreline when it rains. We had a few minor issues during our stay (non-working cable box, hot tub issue, etc.) and we joked that the rental company would get annoyed with our daily calls. But they were extremely responsive and courteous. Note that the listing description and photos show a daybed in the loft - there is NO daybed in the loft. This was where my 14 year old son was sleeping, so there's no way he could fit on that little love seat. Taylor Made sent over a very nice raised inflatable queen sized bed that my son said was very comfortable. My only other comment would be that the kitchen is quite small for a place that sleeps that many people. There is virtually NO storage area for food/pantry items. It would be helpful to have a cabinet or shelf to store non-perishables. During our stay, the counters were almost covered with all our food.

I cannot say enough about Taylor-Made Deep Creek responsiveness to my many phone calls about things that were not right. I am not sure who is to blame for our issues, but, again, the Taylor-Made team are very professional, responsive and I would rent through them again. HOWEVER, the house needs to be updated, I had to call two times for the hot tube, but still it was usuable. The bathrooms, and linens and sheets were clean. The house overall was dirty -- the vaccuum cleaner was loaded with dust balls and barely picked up the dirt on the floor. And, yes there was a TON of mess under the couches -the couches moved when we sat on them and we saw potato chips, pretzels, dustbunnies, spilled red sticky stuff -- all cleaned up by us. The stovetop and microwave were both not clean. Not sure if the hardwood floors have been wiped up at all either. The house is in a great location, it is just a shame it is not better maintained while in the midst of the owner trying to sell. Also, the house posted a trundle bed in the loft ---no trundle bed, but there are rollaway beds in the closet.
