Really enjoyed the property. It was beautiful and the view was great!

This is easily the nicest rental property we have ever stayed in. The place could not have been cleaner or more beautiful and the location is just ideal. The views are stunning. Willy the property manager was super helpful and made the whole trip so incredibly easy. The security and quality level of everything down to the elevator was five stars plus. We have never felt so safe. I never saw a single ant or bug while we were in the condo and if you have ever visited Costa Rica, you know how amazing that is! The place was incredibly well stocked and appointed with all of the basics you don't want to have to buy when on vacation. If I had one minor request it would be for an extra set of towels for the bedrooms. The fact that this is the ONLY suggestion tells you how great our experience was! Thank you for letting us share your beautiful home. It made for a wonderful vacation for our family and friends.

The location of this condo is absolutely ideal, super close to all the activity and buzz in downtown Tamarindo, but also just far enough away to be super quiet. Communication before, and during the stay was quick and easy, the site concierge staff responded almost immediately to any inquiries. The condo itself is immaculately clean and has everything you could possibly need. If I could live my whole entire life with just one view, it would be the one off of this balcony! I will absolutely return!

This place is under the radar!! The location is suberb, the place is extremely clean and has everything you need (food, drinks, store in walking distance). The views are AMAZING. Quiet area with not a lot of traffic or tourists. If you are looking for the ideal place, look at the photoes and multiply by 10! Our family was in awe. Full time security at building, easy to get in and out and the property manager Willy was just a text message away. I wish I could give this place 6 stars.

I travelled with 5 kids ages 14-20. We rented 2 golf carts and my 18 year old son drove one and I drove the other. Easy to get around town and made travelling convenient. They had a parking space underground for the carts but you need to get those that are short enough to fit in their covered parking. The condo also provided boogy boards, chairs, umbrellas, etc in a locker which was great. We were able to walk around the point to the main beach area even during high tide via a path on the hill that isn't too bad to see so we could have walked the entire thing each day but golf carts made it more convenient. We had some prearranged tours but cancelled all but one and rebooked from vendors on the beach who did a fairly good job. If you pay with cash there, you usually are able to save some money from taxes. Recommend Buena Vista jungle tour, ez golf cart rental, Ti Marouba catamaran was great. We did fishing w/ Tour Angelica but it was a tight fit for 7 on a 6 person boat so not sure I'd recommend. Beyond that, condo was very well furnished. Everything we needed for cooking including their grill was there. We bought fresh fish off the beach and cooked it on the grill a couple of nights using their spices and it was a terrific evening of fun. Hot tub being in the main suite means our kids didn't use it much but outside of that, everything was perfect in this condo for a large family & highly recommend. Concierge Willy and Justin were incredible and took very good care of us.

We had a wonderful stay at the condo. Beautiful views from the balconies. The condo was very spacious and had plenty of space for our families. Willy and Justin were very helpful and responsive to any questions I had. Willy even arranged shuttles to and from the airport and stocked some groceries that I asked for. I would only say if you’re going to have them get groceries know that groceries are expensive and most likely purchased from a small grocery store rather than one of the larger stores a little farther from the condo. For a large party the condo was a great place to enjoy family time with great views and everyone could sit on the balcony at the same time.

The gracious owners of the property will tell you about the sunset views over the pacific. They're right. a beautiful, spacious, well appointed condominium prefect for a family or an intimate group of friends. Excellent. Thank you Syd for your hospitality.

Do not hesitate to book this lovely home. It is truly the nicest VRBO we have stayed in to date. The pictures are exactly what you get and the views never get old. When at the condo, we spent most of our time on the balcony. We rushed home most days to catch the sunset. The location was great - close enough to the busy town of Tamarindo (walking distance to everything), but far enough away to escape the crowds that spring break brings. We will definitely be back!

It’s always nice when the property lives up to the pictures and description and this condo does that. Very well maintained and property manager Willy and his colleague Justin were great to work with. Would definitely stay here again!

Super spacious, stunning sunsets and first rate amenities. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the penthouse. From the morning views to the dark starry nights, the decks are one of the best parts. We booked the private chef for a delicious and memorable meal. Management staff and security were very at tentative and made us feel thoroughly welcome. We highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay. Check in was a breeze as we were met by Willy at condo. He gave a quick tour of condo and helped with golf cart. Walked the beautiful beach each day one day walked to town. Will definitely be going back.

As mentioned in the others reviews, the views of the ocean, beach and sunset are exceptional. The Host was very responsive and helpful with all our inquiries and requests. The RPM team didn't disappoint either and were very helpful with all our questions about the area, things to do and any needs we had. The condo was very spacious and had more than enough amenities for our three couples, and you can't beat that deck. I highly recommend this property

This condo was set in the most beautiful location of all!! The condo itself was super clean and very spacious and fully equipped! The RPM rental property answered my hundreds and hundreds of questions prior to the trip and they handled TONS of questions and inquiries for me once we got there. They were so attentive, friendly and helpful and accommodating!! The views in the condo and the RPM management company made our trip outstanding!!!!! Elena and Lola were superior!!! They were truly the best that I have ever worked with!!! Thank you for making our trip special and memorable!!

We just completed our 2nd week long stay at Crystal Sands 502. The first time we stayed was 5 years ago. The property was as perfect this time as we recalled it was the first time., and just as pictured. Great location, close enough to the action, but not in the middle of it all. Right on the beach, so you can walk the beach easily in either direction. The unit is extremely spacious and perfect for our 3 adult children (son & daughter-in-law and son) and ourselves. We enjoyed the hot tub on the upper balcony, and sunsets and happy hour each night on the main balcony(though they weren’t as vibrant as the first time we were there, because there was unfortunately more rain this time). We made breakfasts in the well equipped kitchen several days. We swam in the beautiful pool, most times we were the only ones there. We ate out each evening at a different place, as there is no shortage of good restaurants within walking distance or a few minutes drive. The town of Tamarindo was definitely more crowded than it was 5 years ago, but it was still enjoyable to be in. We enjoyed going to the public beach for surfing and sunning, but could do without the constant stream of vendors trying to sell you everything from homemade whistles and wooden bowls, to jewelry, sunglasses, coconut drinks, or roasted nuts. Wish that could somehow be limited as it really does become a nuisance when you’re trying to relax. It was nice to be able to walk the beach at the condo and often times be the only one around. Much less crowded than the public beach, and no vendors. One of the days the boys had a very successful day of fishing(chartered a boat arranged be Marcella at Watermans just across the street from the condo), while the girls went to the spa and lunch (at Longosta Beach Club a 10 minute walk from Crystal Sands). There is as much or as little as you want to do there. All in all we had a wonderful time, and I’m sure we will be back again.

We stayed in the condo from 4/26 to 5/3, 2022. The condo was spacious, well stocked, clean and as described in the listing. The furnishings inside and on the outside balconies were high quality and comfortable. The location of the condo provided breath taking views of the Pacific Ocean and coastline. The documentation in the unit provided all that was needed for the unit, information about the area and the responsiveness of the owners and the RPM property managers was prompt when needed. The condo is close to shopping and good restaurants in Tamarindo. We recommend this condo for those desiring lots of room, a great view and quality accommodations.

We had a wonderful stay! The kids loved exploring the tide pools right in front of the property. The house was clean, spacious, and worked well for our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

We spent the week looking at the views from this spectacular location!!! We enjoyed all the extras this place had to offer. We walked daily and at this location you can have everything you would desire at your fingertips. The restaurants within walking distance are incredible! We didn’t want to leave, our family truly enjoyed the trip and are looking forward to visiting Costa Rica again.

The penthouse is exactly as pictured and extremely well appointed. We had two very accomplished amateur chefs with us and they were very pleased with the upgraded kitchen equipment. There was enough room in the condo for our family of 8 to spread out even though most of the time was spent on the deck. The view is breathtaking! The communication with the owner was prompt, helpful and thorough.

This property is better than expected. We had three couples staying here. Each couple had their own bathroom and bedroom which is ideal. The place is HUGE. The neighborhood is really quiet, yet a short walking distance to Tamarindo beach and all the restaurants and shops. It’s really nice to return to tranquility each evening. Beautiful views of the ocean right off the balcony. Having a washer and dryer was extremely helpful, to wash swimsuits and towels each evening. The place is well equipped with beach chairs and boggy boards. There is an area with yummy food trucks not to far from the condo and the food is delicious! Great area, felt really safe and the security gaurds are so nice and helpful. Pool is also beautiful and relaxing. Stay here, you won’t regret it!!! Wendy

We were very happy with the property. It was exactly as advertised. Its an awesome location right on the beach. Perfect sunsets every night. Walking distance to town. The building was secure with 24 hour staffing. The unit itself is huge with decks on two levels. Fully equipped kitchen with a nice gas grill on the deck. We would recommend Crystal Sands and Unit 502 in particular. Thanks.

Our family of 6 had an AMAZING stay at this property. The pictures are incredibly accurate. The condo is gorgeous, and the views are insane! This was our first "real" vacation in 2 years, and we are so happy we went. Syd is a very responsive host, and his management company is awesome. They made us dinner reservations, set up our Covid tests, and gave us tour suggestions. Everythine we did was fantastic. The restaurants in Tamarindo are SO good! We stayed in the condo with our 4 teenage boys, and it could not have been better. We loved having happy hour on one of the beautiful balconies. The sunsets were so beautiful! The condo is the nicest rental home we have ever stayed in. We generally do not spend much time sitting around, and I wish we had done more here! I will caution that the beach outside the condo is really not swimmable. The beach is covered in lava rock that gets disguised by the tide. However, when the tide is low, it is so pretty to see! There are also many wonderful beaches close by. I really have to say that this was worth the splurge!

What a wonderful place to stay. Mae sure you have ground transportation, its a walk to get to town, if you go every day. Guards are friendly and attentive at the gate, the pool is wonderful. Wish there was a bar and a bartender on property. :-)

The place is very roomy and has best views . Location was perfect to be close to beaches, close to Tamarindo, but also quiet.

Property was exactly as noted. Good peaceful location, just need a golf cart for easier trip into town, but that was it. Loved everything.
