Beautiful home right on the beach. There is a restaurant one lot over with pretty good food (more on that below). House was very clean and comfortable. We spent the majority of our time in the outdoor areas. Overall a very nice property and we would return. Pros: Very attentive property manager, assisted us with Mula rentals and dinner reservations. Grounds keeper and housecleaner were wonderful. Outdoor space is unbelievable with many lounging areas so guests can spread out. Pool is lovely with a shallow end to sit in during hot days. Private yard with beautiful landscaping. Nicely appointed bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. AC in all rooms was excellent. Steps to the beach. Howler monkeys came through several mornings. Security guard at night although I’m not sure if that was good or bad…. Cons: There is construction next door, they worked seven days a week so our dream of listening to the waves crashing only came true around 5pm - but then the music from the restaurant next door started ;). The grounds keeper is there all day most days so there wasn’t a lot of privacy. He wasn’t obtrusive but we weren’t expecting that. It is a bit of a trek to get there (nothing to do with the house just a very long drive from Liberia). You need to have transportation there, we rented “Mula’s” (four-seater ATV’s) to get around. We stay almost exclusively in vacation rentals rather than hotels and this one makes our top 5 list - just ask about any construction before booking if quiet is important to you.

The Beach House was a wonderful place for our family to spend time relaxing and enjoying so many amenities. This house was special inside and outside. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. The outdoor showers were new for us. However the outdoor spaces were especially enjoyable for us. Eating every meal outside was fun. The pool was a nice step out of the ocean. The lounge areas allowed each family member to find their own relaxing space to unwind or enjoy small gathering spaces. The location of this house being on beach front was especially a plus for us. It was a great week!

We can't say enough about this property or the management team! We'd highly recommend this home and we can't wait to bring our family back.

We had a great stay at this VRBO. The property manager was very helpful. She provided excellent recommendations and support while we were there. The home has a house keeper and an outside maintenance person who both come each day to keep the home tidy and clean. The pool overlooking the ocean was a fun and relaxing escape from the tropic heat at mid day.

the house and location were amazing. great large outdoor space with spectacular beach front views. we hardly stayed indoors. Short beach walks to several places to eat and drink. it was truly relaxing.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Beach House. The property has the best location, just few steps away from the ocean and the views are just breathtaking. Everything was well maintained and super clean. Julie, the property manager, was very helpful and kind. We had a problem with the toaster that was not working well and she immediately came to replace it. Also, she gave us very good recommendations for activities to do in Santa Teresa. My kids (12, 11 & 7) were very sad when it was time to leave. They even asked us if we could buy this house and stay there forever. We’ll definitely be back! 100% recommended for those who are looking for an unforgettable getaway.

We had a lovely long weekend at the Beach House. Julie was incredibly attentive and the house was better than described. Plenty of comfortable space outside to lounge after a day at the beach! Perfect spot for our family. Amazing all around! We’ll be back!

Our family of five (2 adults, 3 kids age 14, 11 and 9) had an amazing stay at The Beach House. The property is exactly as listed, and more. Vered communicated with me directly prior to arrival on the VRBO app, and was quick to respond to all of my questions. Lee was the caretaker/concierge who introduced herself via WhatsApp once we arrived in Costa Rica, and responded to me usually within minutes. The property is immaculate, and felt very luxurious. It was very hot while we were there, and the A/C was welcome after some time in the sun. The water cooler is a nice bonus, but I would recommend a mat of some sort in front of it as the tile is slick if it gets wet at all and I did slip and fall while there (my fault). Maria was the housekeeper who came in each morning and was friendly and helpful. She does not speak English but it was not a problem at all with Google translate. Mauricio tends the pool and house maintenance, is super friendly and again, quick to fix anything - we had a toilet that was not working and he was at the property to fix it within 5-10 minutes. The afternoon before we left the entire street lost water, and Lee and Mauricio were there problem solving and making a plan for the house if they couldn't get it back on, and communicated that well to us. We did get water back, later that afternoon/early evening. We had been at the beach or in the pool all day and it did not disrupt. There was a security guard stationed right outside the property on the private street, and it helped us feel very safe. In the evening if I was out on the patio late reading, it felt completely safe. Banana Beach is right next door, I would say American prices but delicious food. Surfboard, boogie board and rash guard rentals there also. The only thing I would change (and it is so minor) is the lighting at night facing the beach. We had multiple people approach the home thinking it was a restaurant because of the lighting. Not a big deal and the lighting wasn't bad sitting on the patio, it just seemed to attract passerby. The pool was wonderful and so clean. The tray of fresh fruit and bottle of wine upon arrival was also a nice touch. Well done. We didn't want to leave and hope to return soon!

We had a fabulous time renting this home. House was in great condition. The house manager was easy to communicate with and had excellent recommends when we needed them. 4wd vehicle was helpful for the roads around Santa Teresa during the rainy season and for doing day trips. Would love to rent again!

Thank you Vered for sharing your home! I really appreciate all of your help leading up to our travel. The Beach House was nothing short of amazing. We had the best time using the outdoor space and enjoying the beautiful beachfront views. While staying at the house, Vered connected us with Danielle. She was local and a great resource. We used her to bounce ideas off of for best places to surf, good restaurants, close excursions, etc. There were two caretakers on the property as well, Maria and Mauricio. The home and property were spotless. They really went above and beyond to ensure everything looked very nice and that we had everything we needed (fresh towels, propane and a clean grill, etc). I traveled with my husband and we met up with 2 other couples who we shared the house with. Vered had let us know that the roads in Santa Teresa were not paved and recommended ATVs. We decided to rent a golf cart that seated 6 for our entire visit, and rented ATVs just 1 of our days. Blue Zone Buggy arranged to have the golf cart delivered the morning after we arrived. We really enjoyed not having a car and would opt for the golf cart / ATV route again. Some of our restaurant favorites while in Santa Teresa: Breakfast/Coffee Spots - The Bakery and La Gilda Lunch Spot - The Taco Corner Dinner Spots - Katana, Amici, and Zuma **A lot of shops and restaurants were cash only. There is a bank in town. I recommend getting some of the local currency when you arrive. Grocery Store - We loved Ronny’s and ended up doing a lot grilling because it was so convenient. Fun things to do outside of Santa Teresa: Isla Tortuga - we went with Cabo Blanco. Victor was our captain and Wender was the chef. Great guys. We saw dolphins, went snorkeling, and Victor spotted a green sea turtle for us to watch from the boat for a bit. So cool. Surf Lessons at Hermosa Beach - Happy Days with Alonso and Ronnie (@Banana Beach). They were recommended by Danielle. We had a blast, and everyone was able to surf by the end. Motezuma Falls and Butterfly Brewery - we drove ATVs over to Montezuma and then hiked into see the falls. We parked in the bottom lot and ran into Crazy Carlos. You will find him on Trip Advisor. We also stopped at Butterfly Brewery on our way back. This was a great day trip. The ATVs are perfect for all of the unpaved bumpy roads.

The property was well kept with cleaning staff to keep it tidy everyday. The location was perfect and steps to the ocean. Danielle was always available and very helpful with planning our excursions. I would definitely recommend this house!

Right on the beach, a beautiful clean house, wonderful service and host. Walking distance to coffee, sushi, bars and most importantly - the ocean!

The Beach House is amazing! Our family of 4 enjoyed a week there - the pool, the outdoor space, the outdoor showers, the well appointed rooms, the full kitchen, the filtered water (a pleasant surprise!), and the the attentive staff. Danielle, the housekeeper, and the groundskeeper were great. And the location - wow! We'll be back. Thank you again for hosting our family.

Great place on the beach. Lots of places to stay here in Santa Teresa but very few let you sit at the outside dinner table and watch the surf. Better yet awesome surf lessons from Alonzo of Happy Day’s surf school right next door at Banana Beach. The staff taking care of the house were great. Rooms all cleaned and ready every day and the pool and grounds cleaned every day. Danielle was great to point us in the right direction for food, fun and shopping. The trip there from the Liberia airport was crazy but adventurous. We will be back.

We had an amazing time staying at The Beach House.CR in Santa Teresa. The property is beautiful, spacious and is in the perfect central location. There are many options for eating/drinking, etc. that are within walking distance of the house. There is also a natural food market right across the road. The front porch/sitting-dining area is just perfect! Very comfortable, the pool is great and the views are amazing. Danielle the property manager was wonderful - helpful in arranging activities and transportation and with suggestions for restaurants and "must dos". There is staff that comes to clean the house and the pool and yard everyone more and they are great. Very unobtrusive while also focusing on all the small details. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends and would definitely return for another stay.

This house and location is perfect. The surfers could surf right in front of the house. The house is nice and very comfortable-Perfect for our family of 5. The surf break is intermediate to advanced. Bring cash for the restaurants-food is expensive but we loved Banana Beach, La Gilda, Taco Corner, and Habeneros. Easy access around Santa Teresa. No need for a car. Take a shuttle from Tambor if flying in. Danielle is a great manager for the house and a great resource. She is very responsive and helpful.

We had an unbelievable week at the beach! Thank you to Vered & Danielle who always were just a moment away. Words could never describe our experience and how much all the extra touches meant to our surf group. Restaurants, surf, beach, pool, house were all amazing! We will be back! Et franchement toujours aussi bien voire encore mieux puisque 2 des salles de bain avaient été refaites avec des douches extérieures très jolies. Quoi dire de plus, la plage, la vue, le coucher de soleil...le paradis en un mot !

This villa is breathtaking!! We are a family of 5, my kids were stoked the minute we walked in. The location is great , we had security at night and felt generally very safe (we had doubts as it’s on the beach) The pool and terrace are everything you could ask for .. Danielle the house manager was absolutely lovely and helped us arrange Atvs and fresh fish for the BBQ! Maria the cleaning lady is a gem. She is one of those people that their presence doesn’t seem to bother , very pleasant person. The house had everything we needed and the Banana Beach next door turned out to be our favorite spot. Overall we had an excellent vacation Thanks Vered and Danielle !

This property is even more amazing than it looks on-line! This was a splurge for us to celebrate my retirement and it was so worth it! We spent a week here with our two grown sons and their girlfriends. The set up was perfect for us, with each bedroom having it’s own bathroom. The air conditioning and WiFi worked really well. The kitchen had everything we needed (though we prepared mostly snacks—-with all the delicious restaurants, why cook!). The water cooler with bottled water was a nice touch, as was the fruit platter that was there when we arrived. We did not use the TV because we spent all our time outdoors. There is shade somewhere at all times during the day. Maria comes daily to tidying up, and does so very unobtrusively. We used google translate to communicate with her. The gardener keeps the pool and yard immaculate. Danielle made great suggestions, helped us find a photographer, and suggested a golf cart, as I have bad knees and was walking with a cane this week. It was the perfect way for me to get around. The ocean is rough and a bit rocky right in front of the house, but if you walk 5-7 minutes north at low tide, there is a great “swimming hole”, and there is a spot with no rocks just to the left of the house in front of Banana Beach. Great music, entertainment, and food at Banana Beach, right next door (but not noisy at all). We give The Beach House our highest recommendation.

This had to be one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The location, accommodations, the assistance from the manager, everything was perfect. I would go back year after year. The house is beautiful, the beach and ocean in the backyard, literally, perfect vacation spot! I understand, Pura Vida!! It is pure beautiful living. Great location, great house. The beach really is just steps away from the clean, well-maintained house. The large patio was wonderful for reading and relaxing. Daily visits from the staff ensured that we had everything we needed. Restaurants are conveniently located on either side of the property. Highly recommended!

The house is perfect - nicely appointed, quality, clean, located on the most beautiful beach, walking distance to excellent food... can’t say enough good things about this experience!! Sitting in the pool watching the waves, enjoying a dinner on the patio, walking down the beach for epic sunsets, surfing, gathering shells, so many great memories. We are coming back!!

It was fantastic, we really appreciated being on the beach for enjoying the beach, the view and sunsets. Quite central location for any activities or visits around. The whole family enjoyed the stay in this lovely property, with great daily cleaning service and welcoming house manager. Only the AC needed some repair (which have v’been made during our stay) and bathroom are a little aged.

The Villa has been our best experience quality-price in Costa Rica. It literally has it all: it's super safe, just in front of the best beach in town, and a great surf break, newly renovated... there's not much more one can ask for. The staff are very kind and helpful, ready to make your experience as breezy as possible. Thanks again, we hope to visit again in the near future!

We came to the Beach House with 2 families. The house is right on the beach. The house was great, equipped with all we needed. Danielle, our house manager, was fantastic. She was always available, helpful if we had any issues, gave us great advice about everything from restaurants to fun things to do. Maria cleaned our house every day and was so friendly. We enjoyed being close to town and next door to a fun restaurant. The house is simple yet comfortable with an amazing outdoor space. We will come back here for sure and recommend it.

Absolutely outstanding, I can't say enough good things about this property and its management. I will start with the management. Daniella the property manager was in touch with us daily. So pleasant and highly responsive to all requests. Nothing was too much for her. As one might expect the odd issue came up but everything was fixed as soon as possible. The house is in excellent condition - very luxurious. The location right on the beach with magnificent sunset views could not have been better - and we know this because this is our 10th trip to Costa Rica and 4th to Santa Teresa/Mal Pais area. Great swimming and very conveniently locates within walking distance to a number of outstanding restaurants. I have no hesitation recommending this rental to anyone interested in exploring this most beautiful of places.

I have stayed in many locations with VRBO, but this house is my favorite.
