Welcome to Lenny's Lodge; a cozy cottage nestled into a thriving community.

They stay was nice and has easy access to stores and restaurants in the area many within 30 minutes. Having the park and trail right behind the house is a bonus. Utilities worked just fine in the house and check-in and out is very simple. Only thing I would add would be a small A/C unit into the downstairs bedroom as we had a day where the high was in the low 90's and even leaving the door open to try and help cool down the room was still quite warm.

Everything, including location and furnishings was perfect except: We had six of us over the weekend and had trouble finding enough plates and bowls. A few added dishes would have made life easier.

The house is beautifully remodeled with plenty of space for larger groups. The yard backs up to a nice park with a biking path. We enjoyed the flexibility to fix out meals at the house where the kitchen was well stocked. One evening we enjoyed eating outside and biking along the path. The location was ideal for visiting Lake Erie, Magee Marsh and Maumee Bay State Park, along with sightseeing in Toledo.

This home has two updated baths that are both on the first floor. The main bath must be accessed by going through the main floor bedroom. The half bath is accessible to all. The stairs to the second floor are quite steep.
There are many gathering areas in the home that are very nice for larger groups, and the home is well cared for.
The electronic lock on the back door is one I've never seen before. The numbers are not visible until you run your finger around the outside of the flat surface. We struggled a bit to figure it out.
The updated kitchen had everything we needed.

The property is clean and convenient for large families. Plenty of space for personal reading time and plenty of outdoor space for sports. Its about a 10min ride to Walmart and restaurants.

This was an excellent house with updated kitchen and bathrooms. The house was clean, and the property owner had great communication. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to turn on the air conditioning units prior to guest arrival. The house was almost 90 degrees when we checked in, and it took almost a full 24 hours for the house to cool down.

We lived in Oregon all our lives and moved away a year ago. Returning to Oregon and staying at Lenny's Lodge was like be back home. We were near all our old neighbors, could use the Wasserman bike/walking trail, fitness court and plenty of open area to hit golf balls with ease. Maumee Bay State Park with its beaches and outdoor activities were just a short drive away. Being outside people the concreted area with a table and umbrella, grill and basketball court made things that much more enjoyable. Grocery, hardware, discount stores and restaurants were easily accessible, then return to quiet country setting at Lenny's Lodge. We are planning to revisit Lenny's again next year. It was a pleasure staying with Matt and Ann Marie, they were very attentive.

So clean & great kitchen
Back room had more furniture than redone front room. A large eating table would be helpful. Main level bedroom was a plus. But three beds are upstairs in a cape cod type style.

Family Visit/Wedding Planning
Our family grew up in Oregon and we now live in North Carolina, we came home to visit our family that still lives here and to do some wedding planning. This house was perfect for what we needed, and the place was clean and well kept. Our communication with the owners was very easy as well.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wonderful Lenny’s Lodge!
This place was perfect for what our intentions were to head out to Toledo in the first place…The Solheim Cup. The Location put us near Lake Erie, Maumee State Park and its beautiful golf course and many fun bars and restaurants. We were so blessed to fine this clean and homey lodge. The people in Toledo were so kind to us from the PA State. I would highly recommend Lenny’s Lodge if you are heading to Toledo.

Rural Ohio Getaway
Location location location! 😁
It's nice to find a place in the center of it all. Yes, the Wasserman House in Oregon, Ohio is it. With the bike trail at the back of property you can easily ride to Pearson Park or Maumee Bay or even just down the path to a playground. There are also numerous ice cream places and of course the required grocery stores and gas stations.
The house itself felt like we were staying with a long lost relative... They even have my favorite game - milleborne!
The house is spacious and very clean. Plenty of room for family to gather or spread out.

We had 4 adults and 2 kids, and there was plenty of space inside and outside. The kids loved the basketball hoop. There are two full living rooms to spread out. It was very clean, which is most important to us.

Cozy getaway for the whole family!
Had a great experience with our stay. The proximity to the bike path was amazing for our children. They had a blast riding their bikes through the sports complex to the playground. Location was quiet with close proximity to our main destinations for the weekends. If we vacation here again we will 100% be booking this property again.

Very cute abode surrounded by nature
The renovated part of the house was excellent the older parts of the house needs some remodeling and air freshening.
Outstanding location with excellent access to city parks, bike trail, and just a few miles from Lake Erie.
Hosts are absolutely wonderful people who checked up on us a few times.
One action that needs attention is the bed in master bedroom as it is way too soft and caused me back problems throughout the stay and staying upstairs was challenging without AC during an unusual early summer heat wave in Toledo.

Oregon Adventure
Our stay was perfect in every way! The home was spotless, cozy, comfortable, and convenient. It was the perfect “home base” for all the things we wanted to do. We explored Toledo, the Erie shoreline, and Oregon itself. We loved being just a bike ride away from Maumee Bay State Park!. It is a beautiful place to spend a few hours or a few days. Matthew and Ann Marie did all they could possibly do to make our stay what it was: wonderful!
