This property is wonderful for families! It has so much to offer inside and out. The walk to the beach was only 7 minutes and the house had all the beach gear we needed. The beds were super comfortable and the two living rooms and loft allowed for multiple visiting/gaming locations. The owner was available anytime we had a question and helped make our stay as good as it could be given there was a tropical storm sitting over the island all week. Will certainly come back!

Our family really enjoyed our week long stay at this home. It is very well appointed with everything you need to be comfortable. The garage is full of pool floats, beach toys, boogie boards, bikes, and a golf cart. The kitchen has every utensil, dish, & pan you could need. It was a bit farther from the beach than I expected but that was my mistake in not checking the map carefully. But with the golf cart, it is within a few minutes. We highly recommend this home!

My friends and family were looking for a rental fit for a large group with a large outdoor entertaining area - this house was everything we wanted and more! Josh was great leading up to our stay, making sure we had everything we needed and even offering an additional golf cart for our stay. Everyone in the group raved about the house and its location - less than a 10 min walk to the beach! We would definitely stay here again.

Our daughter was married on the beach at Wild Dunes. After the wedding weekend we moved to the terrific house to relax for 5 nights. The house was beautiful and we all enjoyed our stay- from the 5 year old to the 78 year old! Josh took care of everything for us that we needed as soon as we asked. We’re hoping to return next summer!

The house is located close to the IOP Bridge which makes coming and going from the Island easy. More importantly, the location provides great access to the beach, especially with golf carts. Our six grand children luved heading down 25th street to the beach on a golf cart, with a golf cart you can get closer to the beach and there is plenty of dedicated golf cart parking. Backyard is great for family gatherings around the pool and outside dinners. We have stayed in several more luxurious places on the IOP but none we enjoyed more because of its location, pool, backyard, and interior arrangement.

The property was lovely and clean. Very nice bedrooms and baths. Around the range in the kitchen could have been a little cleaner. But the kitchen is very well supplied. There is an extra fridge in the garage which is very helpful. The pool was very nice and maintained well. We paid to have it heated and it was well worth it. We used it every day. Very nice fenced backyard and patio area. Beach bikes, toys, pool toys were there for us to use along with a wagon for the beach. The owner kept in touch and was available for any issue that came up. This was a great alternative to being on the beach. The beach was not far and we had the golf cart and bikes to get there. The backyard offered a great area to swim and relax. Truly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Great July 4th Holiday Week
Our family of six stayed here for the week of July 4th. The house was just as pictured and in great shape upon arrival. We had an issue with the golf cart but it was promptly addressed and we got an alternate cart for the rest of the week. The back yard was very private and shaded but all the trees means a lot of debris in the pool. Not a big deal, just be ready to do a quick pass with the pool net a couple times a day and empty the skimmer baskets a couple times a day. The loft can get a bit warm during the day but it was better at night. The Nintendo and all the TVs and various hang out areas were a big hit.

Lovely Home & Perfect Location!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The location was an easy distance from the beach, especially with the golf cart. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very spacious for all 9 of us! The kitchen had just about everything we needed, and having beach chairs, wagon and supplies was lovely.
I do think it is necessary to know that the breaks on the golf cart do not work effectively, even if you pump them like the tape on the cart says. We had to use the emergency break instead, which was a little disappointing considering the high cost of using the cart during our stay. Also, 3/5 bikes did not have air in the tires, and were rusted making them impossible to use. During our stay, we had people come work on the yard one day and a separate person come spray for bugs on another. It would have been nice to have been communicated with that there would be people working in the yard during our stay.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and the house provided many useful things for us, and we would stay again! Thank you!

BEST PLACE IN IOP
Visited here last weekend for a big golf trip. The owner was extremely helpful, let us check in early, and the house was very clean. We used the golf carts and that was as very nice being on the island. Grocery store and breakfast places less than half a mile away. 100% will be booking here next time I’m in town

Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood
The home is wonderful and well maintained with plenty of space for 12 people to sleep. The IOP neighborhood is very quiet. It is a half mile or so walk to the beach, which was reasonably busy. The beach does not allow alcohol. There are a few bars and restaurants as well as a grocery store within walking distance. Uber/Lyft to downtown Charleston takes about 30 minutes and costs about $50-$90 depending on the time, but for one night that was worthwhile as downtown was very fun.

Why aren't you renting this property?
House is clean, big, comfortable, incredibly well stocked with ANYTHING you could want, comfy beds, quiet, a beautiful pool and yard, a block from the beach, bikes, beach chairs, wifi, cable tv - I could go on. Also the owner responds immediately if you have a question.
House is great for families or friends gathering.
I will rent it again in a heartbeat.

I booked this amazing IOP vacation home for a girls weekend and I could not be happier with our stay. There were 12 of us and both the indoor and outdoor living areas were extremely spacious! The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable, clean, and exactly as the pictured. Pool and outdoor area was especially wonderful! From the appliances in the kitchen to the outdoor / beach / pool accessories - this house was equipped with anything you would possibly need for a vacation! The host was extremely flexible and responsive to all of my questions. Highly recommend for a large group or family!

Great host, great house, great vacation
The host was always quick to respond to all my questions throughout the entire process. All questions about booking, check-in, during our stay were answered in a few hours or even minutes! The home was exactly as described. It has everything you could ever need or want in a vacation house. We really enjoyed the backyard/ pool area, and loved that we were a short bike ride/ walk to the beach. I highly recommend Waterway Breezes and would stay here again!

The weather took a dip during our stay so we couldn’t enjoy the beach as much as we wanted. But this house has it all - plenty of activities at home - pool, outdoor games, indoor games, bikes - but close to Charleston for cool days. The house is large... so much room for everyone to spread out or come together. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

Great House
The pictures don’t do this place justice. The house is great with a nice layout for everyone to have privacy and get together. Probably the best equipped rental house we’ve stayed in, had everything you need in the kitchen and around the house. The landscaping is beautiful and the back yard and pool are perfect for after beach hangouts. Plus it comes with a golf cart, bikes and everything you need for the beach. We would drive the golf cart to the 29th street beach entrance and were always able to park right in front and had a nearly empty beach everyday. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again.

Our family had a wonderful stay here! The house and outdoor pool were perfect for us. The kitchen and beach supplies were so helpful. Grandma even found a pie plate and the golf cart was key for beach parking. We hope to be back soon!

Awesome IOP Vacation Hideaway
My family and I loved this house. We used it as our base of operations for a week at the beach-- the house was very open. We loved the main living room and huge dining table. A separate, but close by, 2nd living room was great for the kids. The cousins enjoyed playing old school Nintendo games and complaining about the 8 bit graphics and MIDI sounds. A family ping-pong tournament was a big hit as well.
The back yard was very nice. The pool and patio were delightful.
We had access to 2 golf carts and many bikes-- we were a short ride from the beach. My girls loved the ability to ride all over the island.
We've stayed at IOP, Sullivans, James and Seabrook -- we loved the family feel of IOP. Especially having a grocery store 5 minutes away and a Target just across the Intercostal (looking at you Seabrook). The beaches were beautiful-- there was tons of room. We had plenty of space and were not on top of other beach goers.
The owner was VERY responsive -- my nephew created a plumbing emergency and they had someone out within the day. We had a minor problem with one of the golf carts and it was fixed within 24 hours.
If you are a gourmet cook and kitchen snob this may not be the place for you. The kitchen is normal-sized, and can accommodate 1-2 cooks, but gets tight when more try to help. We tended to lock the door to the patio to cut down on thru-traffic.
