First off…. The views are absolutely breathtaking! We saw turtles everyday swimming by right us! I can only imagine what staying there during whale migration would be like!
The property is cozily situated in a well maintained gated community with access to beaches and about a twenty minute walk into Lahaina. We had a wonderful stay on the island and everything we needed was in the house. We were able to grill on the lanai some nights enjoying amazing sunsets! You can’t beat it!
Communication with host was easy and always with a prompt response. I would not hesitate to stay here again for my next trip to Maui. We had 5 adults and plenty of space!

Our family recently had the privilege of staying at this oceanfront Vrbo in Lahaina, Maui, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the mesmerizing sound of the waves and the breathtaking views that greeted us.
The location of the Vrbo was simply perfect! Each evening, we eagerly awaited the magnificent sunsets that painted the sky with vibrant hues, casting a magical ambiance over our time together.
One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the oceanfront patio. It became our favorite gathering spot, where we could enjoy meals while feeling the gentle ocean breeze. The sight of our family laughing and sharing stories against the amazing backdrop was a picture-perfect moment we will treasure forever.
We also appreciated the convenient location of the Vrbo. Within a short drive, we were able to explore the charming town of Lahaina. We found ourselves enchanted by the rich history and culture of the area.
Our three nights at this oceanfront Vrbo were an absolute dream come true. If you are looking for a slice of paradise on Maui, we wholeheartedly recommend this exquisite retreat for an unforgettable experience. We all enjoyed the location of the property. It was wonderful setting on the lanai watching the turtles swimming! Too many rules for property. Didn’t have time to do laundry of all towels & sheets. The sand chairs were in pretty bad shape & we had 6 people with only 3 chairs. Overall was comfortable there.

Karen was communicative prior to our stay and easy to text with anything during the stay. Very nice!! We would definitely recommend this property as it was beautiful and close to old LaHaina, we walked it, very pretty! Just a suggestion, maybe some folding luggage racks might be helpful for guests as we had our luggage on the floor. Other than that minor suggestion, it was sooooo pretty and comfortable!! A+ in our books! Would definitely stay again!! Blessed to share such an amazing experience!! Thank you Karen!!

First off the location is great! The townhouse is located near beaches, restaurants, and stores. It also is just a few steps to the beach right in the backyard. The home unfortunately was not clean. The sheets looked dingy and the place had lots of dust. I cleaned the counters before I started cooking and I'm glad I did because so much dirt came up. This place also needs to be updated, the furniture looks old and the beds are hard.The host made such a point of taking in sand but it's pretty much impossible even with the hose infant and back. The host also wanted the towels washed, customers pay the expensive cleaning fees so we don't have to spend our vacation doing laundry. Lastly this is out of the host control but when coming back to the home someone was in the designated parking spot, when we asked him to move he told us we could park in another spot. He did eventually move but maybe a sign can be put up because it's hard to find a spot at night especially when you have small children you are trying to carry in.

The property location is great. The townhome is on the beach and it’s an excellent place to watch the sea turtles and relax in the morning. The beach is swimmable but there is not an area directly in front of the house to sit on the beach for the day. The house has a master bedroom that faces the ocean and is nice. The second bedroom has a queen bed and faces the back of the townhome and highway. There is a loft with two twins or they will make it a king. We requested a king and ended up with two twins. It was great to hear the waves but not so great to hear the highway noise all night. The house was laid out well but would be nice to have a vacuum to clean while we were there. The house had a broom but it was pretty worn out. The cooler on the porch still had items from previous guests. The pool on the property is dated and in rough shape. The location of the pool was fantastic and we were bummed it was unmaintained and we didn’t want to use it. The neighborhood and neighbors were excellent, very friendly and lots of area for walking. The property manager was great for helping us check in and the directions were clear. We appreciated the follow up and clear directions and expectations of the property.

A delightful townhouse in a gated community. My wife and I celebrated my 50th with 2 my two dearest friends and their wives. It was excellent. The place had everything we needed and desired. The main bedroom has an en suite bathroom, a balcony, and an amzing view of the ocean and shore. Beach access is available but it's mostly shore and rocky after the first 15 feet of walking in. But the back lanai has the same gorgeous view as the balcony and we enjoyed every second of it. Would recommend if staying with a group on Maui..

Lahaina paradise
Sunsets, waves, turtles and beautiful property in Lahaina. We really enjoyed the lanai's, pools, checking out Lahaina town and having the local experience. The guest guidebook was clear and informative and everything was as stated and in good working order. We stayed in both Wailea (hotel) and Lahaina and this was my personal favorite. I'd highly recommend this property, it was a highlight of our time in Maui.

Great location but poor access to water
This was a large townhouse with great views of the ocean. We could watch the boats, surfers, and you can also get a view of the sea turtles in the water. The townhouse was spacious however it felt smaller than the photos. We did have (6) adults and one two year old. This unit was functional but a bit dated. Very poor access to the water. The beach was very small and mostly rocky. This unit was far from the complex entrance and away from Lahaina. It would be a very long walk to town and the streets are small with no sidewalks. The entire complex was absolutely beautiful and well maintained but pools were very dated. I assume improvements will be made in the near future. Great communications with owner but poor beach access with no real beach to relax and enjoy a drink.

Maui Delight
This property is as described; amazing location just feet from the ocean. We saw whales and sea turtles daily, along with beautiful sunsets and enjoyed the wonderful sounds of relaxing waves. The unit was comfortable for four adults but found the cleanliness to be sub-par. Would also recommend a better pest control program to minimize the uninvited guests. Overall we enjoyed our visit; loved the proximity to all amenities and had everything that we needed for a fun, relaxing vacation.

We loved this spacious home and location of this property. The decor was lovely. And it was extremely well organized. The waves were so loud sometimes I thought they were coming into the the master bedroom. The ocean pool is fantastic. Fun to just be able to walk into Lahaina. There are lots of rules.

Relaxation and Restoration
We had an amazing 9 days. The check in process was simple, quick and friendly. We stopped at grocery store and was able to grill excellent meals on the lanai. We spent most of our time there either coffee in the morning sunrise or drinks with the sunset. The bedrooms were adequate and had their own ac and ceiling fans. Plus, a half bath on the 3rd floor bedroom. Yoga on the upper deck off the master was an added bonus. Little walk to a rocky beach and a nice stroll to a sandy beach. Boogie boards were used daily, thank you! We would definitely stay here again.

The security is a little aggressive actually, and in some ways a bit of a distraction. But they're doing their jobs I guess. Apparently there was a cleaning mishap, so we walked into a dirty rental, which wasn't great considering the COVID situation. Karen did send a cleaner the next day, but we had to be out of the unit for a few hours, also not great.Other than that, we enjoy watching whales, boogie boarding right out front, watching sunsets and surfing. It's a beautiful place.

The perfect Lahaina Home-away-from-home
Such a beautiful property, right on the beach and so close to Old Town Lahaina! Perfect for our family of five to relax and hang out in when we were not out having adventures. We enjoyed watching surfers and sea turtles right off our Lanai as well as doing some boogie boarding. We were cool and comfortable inside when we weren’t enjoying the sunshine outside.

Just returned home from a girls' weekend in Maui. The Puamana condo was the perfect spot away from the hustle and bustle of Lahaina, but still close enough to go into town for shopping, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed our stay tremendously! Mahalo nui!

Puamana Beachfront Beauty
We have stayed in Puamana Resort for 4 years, every year a different VRBO. This one by far was our families favorite.
Ocean is literally right in front of the back lanai, morning coffee watching the waves, our teens surfing every morning. This building is located next to Puamana park beach accessed through a coded gate. Because of the properties current natural restoration of the protective landscape wall you can only access the beach through the “beach access” spots. There are only two in Puamana so staying next to the Puamana Beach for those who want to be in the water this condo is perfect! There is AC available in this condo, which during the summer months is often a must to cool down the condo, then the windows can be open at night if it is cool enough. The kitchen is easy, appropriately supplied with everything you would need, and a bbq outside. Our family of 5, with 3 older teens, absolutely loved staying here. It is private, so if you are desiring a more private, chill vacation time, this condo is perfect! We couldn’t get over the oceanfront, beachfront location, it made it hard for us to ever leave to do anything else!!

Had an amazing vacation!
Karen's home is absolutely beautiful. It is right on the beach just steps from the ocean and the adjacent Puanama Beach Park. Often when renting a place with amazing photos in the online listing, there's a bit of a let down when you actually arrive and see the whole place, including what "wasn't" in the photos. NOT this place! The photos in the listing do a fantastic job describing how amazing this place is.
Karen (the owner) was great to work with. She was extremely responsive before, during , and after our stay and it was clear she genuinely wanted out stay to be awesome. We had a few minor issues (see below), but Karen was quick to dispatch help. I would stay in any of Karen's properties with absolute confidence I'll have a great time.
I want to call out a few minor points regarding the community that are not obvious from the listing or the photos. Although the home is just steps from the ocean, the community does not allow people to walk over the shrubbery to get to the beach. During our stay they added a two-rope "fence" with signage to make this clear. The reason: allowing people to walk over/through this shurbbery erodes the beach and can threaten the properties along the ocean. That said - its not a problem - this unit happens to be only a few more steps from the Puanama beach park gate with easy access to the beach and a shower for rinsing off.
When we arrived a new air conditioning system had recently (within the past 3 weeks) been installed and had a few minor issues during our stay. When we arrived the units were not working. I turned them on, but the light would just flash and they were not blowing any air. I notified Karen and she got a hold of the installer who could make it out early the next day. A few hours after we arrived, I wondered if simply resetting the circuit breaker would work, and, presto - back in business. As it turned out, the ground floor A/C was still not quite cooling the room. It was blowing air but the room was not cooling much. It wasn't bad so we proceeded to enjoy our vacation and I let Karen know as we checked out. She sent a technician who discovered a minor problem and fixed it. I expect it should be blowing cold for future guests.
Overall we wouldn't hesitate to stay in any of Karen's properties, especially this place for our next vacation to Maui!

Puamana Fun & Relaxation
Location was great in relation to west Maui! And the beach within 20 feet of patio door!
Gated community was secure.
Karen was extremely helpful.
Upon arrival & first 3 days roofers were still working on unit. A fair amount of dust & dirt from roof pounding.
Kitchen was tight for more than one person.
Some maintenance in the house is needed. Scuffed walls, paint. Bathroom towel holders needed anchoring. We did repair it for the owner.
However, enjoyed our stay for the most part.

Beautiful ocean view condo
My family recently visited Maui and were lucky to stay in the Puamana community - quiet, safe and absolutely beautiful! Karen's condo worked well for us - 3 kids & 4 adults. The home is exactly as described and pictured, well stocked with everything you need to be comfortable and feel "at home." We enjoyed the mornings on the patio - drinking coffee while the sun came up, enjoying the sound of waves hitting the shore and watching surfers and SUP in the ocean. The only reasons for a 4-star rating (rather than 5) is the lower level never seemed to cool down - didn't get much of a breeze through with the windows open and the AC unit wasn't sufficient to cool such a large area. We had hoped to enjoy evenings/sunsets in the condo, but found ourselves at another rental property in the neighborhood because it was not comfortable to be in this unit with the sun setting and shining into the condo. The AC units in the bedrooms were sufficient and made for comfortable sleeping. Other reviews mentioned road noise, but we never had an issue with that. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing community, close to restaurants and shopping (without the hustle and bustle of being in the middle of it) - I highly recommend Puamana community. It's beautiful and this unit has a truly amazing view!

Fantastic place to stay
Loved this condo. Close to everything. Loved waking up to the sound of waves and sun shining on the water. Sunsets were beautiful. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful condo on the ocean!
It was a beautiful condo about 20 feet from the ocean. The master bathroom shower has an amazing view! And it’s about a mile from town. The owners are awesome to deal with and extremely accommodating!!! We loved our stay and our vacation!

Great place to stay on the ocean with spectacular views and easy beach access.
This condo is private and in a gated community which is lovely. Easily sleeps 7-8 and is well appointed. We were 3 adults, 2 young adults and twin boys 17. Enjoyed meals and sitting on the Lanai watching surfers with a cool breeze.There is a wonderful quiet swimming pool on the ocean when you tire of riding waves in front of the condo or other pools for play and kids. Also, there are tennis courts and a workout room which we didn’t have time to use!!
Lahaina is a short drive with great restaurants, shops and food markets. There is much to see and do! We especially enjoyed exploring the island , hiking and snorkeling to see beautiful fish and turtles.
We found the owner easy to work with and highly recommend her condo.
We would come back in a heartbeat! It was a great vacation!

Great location
The apartment is in a private community just before Lahaina.
The ocean and a beginner surf break is just in front of the terrace, sunsets are amazing.
Unfortunately the busy highway is just behind the house which is a bit noisy during the day but other than that the apartment has everything you can wish for.

Gorgeous setting
The 3 level condo is well equipped for a wonderful Maui vacation right on the beach. Sheets and towels of high quality, children’s sand toys, boogie boards, books, puzzles...spices in the kitchen. Start your day with a cup of coffee on the lanai watching the paddle boarders and surfers!

Fantastic! Great location. Nice quiet beach. Easy beach access.
Best aspect was having such easy access to the beach. Parents can hang out in the lanai while watching kids out in the ocean. Kitchen had everything you would need. The condo and the grounds are very well maintained. The only aspect that kept it from being 5-stars was that the traffic noise was very audible from the bedroom that was facing the main road. The other rooms had the roar of the ocean! Using our phones to generate some white noise helped. We would stay here again!

Perfect spot, unbeatable views!
Our family spent Thanksgiving in this home and thoroughly enjoyed it. The description of the property is quite accurate and detailed so I won’t bore you with those details. We had everything we needed, and the kitchen and BBQ gave us additional options for meals. We had 6 adults and more family coming over for dinners and never felt crowded.
The location is great— the beach is literally right there, the access gate a few steps away, and you can walk to Lahaina. If you decide to drive, parking is available and often free.
The owner was responsive to my questions/concerns both before and during our stay. She was gracious enough to let us check out late— allowing us more time to relax and watch the waves.
For me, the best part of this home was the lanai/patio space and the upper deck off the master. I spent the majority of my time in those two spots- watching the waves and surfers, enjoying the sunsets and gazing at the stars. A beautiful and peaceful place!
I recommend this home for families wanting to reconnect, relax and unwind in paradise, and I hope to return.
