The place is exactly as shown. Muskoka chairs are in excellent condition by the fire. Kayaks are almost new and the large inventory of life jackets means everyone can enjoy the water. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cutlery, coffee and coffee machine, laundry equipment are all in excellent condition.

Delta is a small town in the middle of some interesting history (Delta Mill) and other small towns. We enjoyed the area and what itnhad to offer. This property is big and has all that you need to relax.

The house had a well stocked kitchen for dishes, etc. we did find the fridge a bit small. There were plenty of linens and towels. All the bedrooms are a good size. Pretty location. You can also park in front of the house, which we didn’t know until we unloaded our vehicles. Right next to the local store and LCBO. Wonderful coffee shop a walk away. Very pretty little town

It was clean, well-equipped, modern enough to be comfortable, quaint enough to be interesting. We enjoyed the charming property and the historic village in which it is located. Very enjoyable week. We hope to return next year.

This is a lovely place in a lovely part of the Province. We had a very nice time and could tell Micheal took the responsibilities of all the aspects of upkeep and presentation quite seriously. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage! Décor is pretty, so nice to have the hot tub and the grounds are spacious, not to mention the home itself. The kitchen is well equipped and the home is clean. The TV is also set up with Netflix and other specialty channels which is great for options. We were a group of friends who have been getting together for years and this home was perfect. The host, Michael is very responsive to inquiries. Highly recommend!

A group of friends from Toronto and Montreal met up to celebrate Thanksgiving and we had an absolutely wonderful time.
House is spacious and gorgeous, and has everything you need for a weekend away - hot tub, fire pit, lake access, all fantastic. Michael was a very accommodating host.
Good vibes all around!

Great space and amenities! The kids fished off the dock and lots of space to spread out. Grocery store and LCBO litterally around the corner which makes it super convenient.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. We had an amazing time at this property. Hot tub was of course the main attraction for our group. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need and lots of counter space to prepare large meals. Loved the decor. Owner was very quick to respond. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great couple of days at this beautiful heritage home. Although we had grey, foggy weather, we enjoyed our stay and would return. Michael was a very helpful host.

Group of 45+ ladies enjoyed a weekend of crafting in Delta-adorable little town with friendly people and everything close by. Gorgeous 1837 home was historically charming. You can tell a lot of work has gone into this home and I imagine it’s only going to get better from here!

Mid-Covid 19 lockdown, we decided what we needed was the chance for the four couples to have a getaway together. We booked in March for this September holiday. We had a blast. The home was very clean, casually elegant, very well appointed in kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Lovely grounds on a quiet waterway, with a fire pit surrounded by lots of beautiful Muskoka chairs.
We prepared gourmet meals, relaxed in comfortable living room couch and chairs, sat around the fire at night, kayaked, canoed, ventured to a nearby golf course for a game and to Charleston Lake Provincial Park for hiking. Even the one rainy day we managed to support local with a shopping trip into Merrickville. The only amenity we didn’t squeeze into our plans was the hot tub…..next time. It was everything we hoped for and more. Definitely a five-star rating. We will absolutely be back again.

We stayed here for a 4 day weekend retreat. It was absolutely lovely.
The house has a ton of antique charm. It's to be expected that some parts aren't like modern day amenities, and it was SO fantastic to get away from everything.
Very reliable wifi, easy to use thermostat (and AC that blows so fantastically cold, you'll forget it's summer time.)
The hot tub was so much fun, the kitchen was excellent for cooking our meals, and the living room was cozy and comfy.
Our favourite part was how central the house is to everything around it.
The bakery (Jubilee Bakeshop) is right around the corner, maybe a two minute walk. The ice cream shop is a three minute walk away, and the grocery store and LCBO are right next door.
The water isn't really swimmable due to the nearby dam, but the kayaks were a nice amenity. Our service dog did go for a swim, and I tried to catch fish with my hands. (Guess who was successful, and who got nibbled on my cute fish?)
We've all agree that we'd love to go back at some point. It's such a lovely peaceful place, and Michael was a fantastic host.

We had such a lovely stay at Rideau lakes. The home is beautiful and clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and having a general store 2 doors down was just perfect. The extra apartment was also perfect to give everyone the extra space we needed. It was perfect for what we were looking for (a quiet and spacious place to spend time with our friends). We'd love to come back in the future

Hidden Gem
This is lovely hidden gem in the historic little town of Delta! The house that was built in the 1800s has everything you need for weekend getaway or longer.
We enjoyed the sunrise over the lake and having coffee on the porch in the mornings!
Definitely would not hesitate to come back!

June reunion
Wonderful property that feels luxurious ! Beautiful historic house, very comfortable beds and an abundance of towels, and everything you need to cook and share meals.
The only issue was lack of water pressure and hot water did not meet demand, but we were 6 women, cooking, washing, showering, etc. I would definitely go back

Anniversary celebration
Lovely house and property that we gathered at to celebrate a 55th wedding anniversary. Plenty of space and things to do for all the generations that were there.

Beautiful home in a lovely, quaint town
We held a reunion of friends here. The home was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the big modern kitchen, the hot tub, and the nice bedrooms.
We also enjoyed our walk around town and short hike through a nearby nature park.

This is a great spot for an extended family get together. It has plenty of space, and all the comforts of a home. The village is quite and friendly, with a few conveniences as well. There are activities for everyone to enjoy, like the hot tub and paddle boat and canoe, however the weather did not cooperate for us, and there are a couple of hiking trails down toward Lower Beverly park, which is within walking distance, we found to late to try them out. Everyone felt very comfortable here.

This property is private, quiet and provides everything a family needs for a comfortable stay. I felt at home immediately and Our family who visited Kingsgate for dinners felt the same.
