Nuestro "apartamento en el bosque de Maine" fue construido en 2005 para atraer a nuestros hijos y sus familias a visitar. Tenemos 2 nueras por ley para que sepas que es muy agradable. Es clave, todo lo que necesitas está allí. Es con paneles de pino, tiene 2 dormitorios, una sala de tamaño mediano de estar, un solo baño con una ducha, una cocina completa y una terraza con vista a Crockett Brook ya que balbucea por. Los huéspedes parecen encantar. Proporcionamos toda la ropa, la mayoría de los condimentos, productos de papel y más otra cosa que pueda necesitar. We had a relax stay It's house above the garage, but it's really a cabin inside. Judy and Skip are just so wonderful. Judy had everything for us, it's really a turn-key vacation that we didn't have to bring anything. We got good reference for restaurants nd local favorites. I ended going to Glen Elis falls Skip recommended in Mt Washington area for the next week. It was quite a pleasant surprise!

The property is a guest apartment over a large garage with a babbling stream close by. Judy plied us with baked goods and recommendations of things to do, places to see and places to eat. We’ll stocked and comfy.

My husband and I have enjoyed many trips to this part of the Maine coast over the past 20 years. Our earlier selections from VRBO were based on "in town" locations so that we could park the car upon arrival and then walk to shops and restaurants. However after discovering Skip and Judy's 'cabin in the woods', we are totally hooked. We loved sitting on the deck, listening to the creek while enjoying a cup of coffee and one of Judy's delcious fresh blueberry muffins. She and Skip spoiled us rotten while we were there! We felt like members of the family. Definitely coming back next year!!

A group of myself and four other people stayed here as a post-graduation celebration and I couldn't recommend it more! Its position right beside the creek provides a beautiful view from the deck and is very calming. However, the best part about this rental are the hosts- Skip and Judy were very kind and it was wonderful to stay with them (For anyone out there who's food motivated, they were kind enough to leave brownies for when we arrived and provided delicious blueberry muffins for our first morning in Maine). The space is small and cozy, but we found that it worked perfectly for our party of five. There's also a grocery store & gas station right down the road so that's super convenient as well. It's just a calm and lovely place to stay; we were there for a week but I would've been happy to spend a couple extra days there. Hopefully we'll be back again someday!

The deck overlooks a babbling stream and there are sunlit forest views from every room, yet the apartment is close to the ocean, groceries, shops, and all this special part of Maine offers. The kitchen is large with a dinette perfect for puzzles and meals, and a welcoming living room has a big TV with streaming and DVDs. A minisplit provides plenty of heat and air conditioning, and there's another A/C in the bedroom. We enjoyed a wonderful vacation in this beautiful place and thank Skip and Judy for their thoughtfulness.

Our hosts were kind, gracious and very hospitable We loved the apartment. It was very cozy. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen I've used since visiting Maine for the last 4 years. Our host, Judy brought us blueberry muffins, which were delicious. She invited us to her home for homemade blueberry pie one night. Skip and Judy taught us the game Racko. It was fun. The location was beautiful. We could hear the stream from our back patio.

Judy and Skip have created a wonderful relaxing space - the kitchen is well appointed and they have very comfortable furniture. The property is full of gorgeous trees and this place makes you feel like you're living in the tree canopy. It's also very easy to get to some great places in mid-coast Maine - Belfast, Acadia.

Beautiful space living up with the trees
Judy and Skip have created a wonderful relaxing space - the kitchen is well appointed and they have very comfortable furniture. The property is full of gorgeous trees and this place makes you feel like you're living in the tree canopy. It's also very easy to get to some great places in mid-coast Maine - Belfast, Acadia.

Judy & Skip are such attentive hosts. This was the best little place to be our base from which to explore the Penobscot coastal towns. We bought lobster off the boat and were able to bring it back to the cabin and cook it ourselves because Judy & Skip had all the kitchen and table necessities - everything! Thanks Judy & Skip!

Truly turn key ready!!!
Judy and Skip were the perfect host and hostess! They are warm and friendly and care about their guests. Judy's Maine blueberry muffins on our first morning was a beautiful touch, and they were delicious! They provide eggs, condiments and beverages to get you started before a trip to get groceries. Both Judy and Skip were extremely helpful in giving guidance regarding places to visit. They made our week in Maine even more memorable!

Everything you could need!
We had such a great time at Skip & Judy’s apartment in the woods! Every morning we had turkeys out the window, red squirrels jumping in the trees and the sound of the little stream flowing through the rocks down the hill from the home! Communication with Judy was spectacular, she even asked us about our kids ages to make sure she had toys all prepped and ready in the shed for them to use! Full washer and drier were super handy, fridge had butter, eggs and other necessities for us when we got there! Place was very clean and we had no problems! There was a huge list of places to go & places to eat. If a quiet little place in the woods is what you’re looking for than this is it! Perfectly placed between Belfast & Lincolnville!

I enjoyed going into Belfast and Camden, and also found it very east to grab the ferry over to Islesboro. As city person, I found this a bit remote but getting to a town was easy enough.

The place was very clean and had everything I needed. It was great to here the running water in the creek all day. The internet was good and reliable which I needed because I was working remotely. Great Place Wonderful Owners
We spent 2.5 weeks in this great rental as we came to take care of family business. The owners were so welcoming and shared
tasty blueberry treats with us. The Unit was great allowed us to cook in on days our schedule did not allow anything else. Location is quiet with a stream below. WiFi worked great when it was necessary to do a bit of work.

Magical little wooded retreat!
We were so thrilled to have happened upon this wonderful apartment while browsing VRBO! Judy & Skip are the absolute ideal couple & made our entire stay so comfortable & welcoming without being intrusive. The apartment had everything we needed. In fact, we have rented many other places & would say, they had the apartment stocked better then any other we have ever experienced. The baked treats that were left for us(baked by Judy) were delicious & a wonderful surprise that we so appreciated! There were even butter & eggs in the refrigerator upon our arrival! We can’t say enough about the fabulous stay we had here! Can’t wait to return to enjoy more chats with Judy & Skip & explore more of our favorite area of Maine!

Wonderful!
I had an excellent stay at this property! The apartment was well-stocked with basic toiletries and some food items like condiments. It was very convenient to Camden Hills State Park where I planned to spend most of my time. Skip and Judy were wonderful hosts. I very much enjoyed my stay and would absolutely come back!

Perfect Maine Adventure
Skip & Judy are tremendous hosts. They have a lovely cottage and treated me and my three teenage boys like family. The cottage was perfect for our group of four. Clean and extremely well stocked for us to make and enjoy our meals. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable , everything worked great. When our boat motor broke down, Skip immediately referred us to a local man who fixed our problem overnight. I can’t stress enough how much fun we had enjoying ourselves with local day trips and then returning to the cottage in the evenings. We will definitely be back!!

Our week at the apartment in the woods.
We just returned from a week stay. Our rental was clean and well stocked. Skip and Judy made sure that the apartment was "move in ready" with everything from a new in the packaging toothbrush in case you forget yours to cooking spray in the cabinet. The fridge had a dozen eggs and a stick of butter placed for us to have. Judy made homemade blueberry muffins for our first morning wake up and mint brownies for our day on the lake. The apartment was clean and welcoming. Skip and Judy were wonderful hosts that we had talked with on a regular basis for their suggestions. Skip took part of our group out on his boat for a morning on the lake. I would definitely return to this apartment if we visited Maine again.

Clean, quiet, cozy retreat:)
Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable in every way we could hope for! Our hosts were warm, informative and accommodating. Sheets, towels and bedding were fresh and clean and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The location was private and cozy, nestled in the woods, yet a convenient drive to Belfast and Camden. We enjoyed hiking, biking, boating, and kayaking all within a stone’s throw. Judy and Skip were a pleasure to stay with and we hope to return soon!

PEACEFUL RETREAT
If you're looking for a reasonable, clean & cozy, relaxing, centrally located to beautiful funfilled towns near water that are packed with activities... this is the place for you!!!
Thank you Charles and Judy for being such wonderful hosts. Our arrival was so welcoming. The Apartment lacked nothing. It was roomy for the four us and the beds were comfortable, which was a pleasure after long days exploring.
We enjoyed the delicious, freshly made, wild blueberry muffins that greeted us when we opend the door the first morning . What a treat!
We couldn't have asked for a better location to explore so many nearby towns.
Our only regret is that lack of time didn't allow us to enjoy the backyard. I so wanted to sit by the fire pit, listening to the sounds of the Crockett Brook and play with some of the outdoor games you provided like the bean bag tic-tac-toe toss and the archery. Nor were we able to take the boat ride offered by Captain Charles. However; we enjoyed this apartment so much that we will be back to stay longer and do all these things and more.

Great location and hosts
Skip and Judy are awesome Maine hosts. Close to both Belfast and Camden, also spent a day in Boothbay Harbor. Apartment was clean and well stocked with paper products. The blueberry muffins and blueberry pie were the icing on the cake for a great week in Maine.

Warm and friendly owners. Very communicative! Clean, cozy, comfortable place. Close to many things, although can’t walk or bike conveniently anywhere from the house. Ample kitchen. A small yard for yard games. Outside deck and fire pit. Place to store bikes and kayaks

Great Vacation Rental
The apartment was spotless and everything worked in the apartment. The apartment had everything you would need. Great location and real quite at day and night. A short drive to Camden and Belfast Grocery stores are a short drive. Skip & Judy Moore went out of their way to make my stay very enjoyable. This is my second time I have stayed with them. Hope to return next year

You could never find better hosts
We so enjoyed our two weeks at their Maine apartment. It was clean, comfortable and fully stocked. I mean stocked, eggs, coffee, blue berry muffins. We lacked for nothing. Judy spoiled us with all her delicious treats. The view over the brook was awesome. Skip offered to take us out on his boat but we ran out of time. This ideal apartment is located close to Lincolnville and Camden. I would love to go back! You feel like family with these wonderful hosts. I hate to let others know how great this is, it would could make it harder for me to book again. Enjoy
