The house is comfortable, clean, and incredibly convenient. You can walk to several restaurants and to the Dolphin Market. You have views overlooking the bay and wonderful cross breezes. Short (<15 min) drives to Maho and Salt Pond Bays. Easy drives to other beaches, Reef Trail, etc. Go and enjoy!

This cottage was perfect for our long overdue honeymoon! Hiking and beautiful beaches were a short drive away. Groceries, drinks and dinner were walkable down the hill. The view from the cottage was magical. I can’t say enough great things about our stay. Already planning our trip back!

Rented here several times. You’ll have what you need plus a great view, quiet bedroom and big deck and pool. Walkable to groceries, bars and restaurants. Drive to beaches.

This small villa was perfect for the two of us. It is just up the hill from the bay which makes it high enough for a great view. It is private with a nice small pool and deck. The place was very clean and well maintained. The use of beach chairs, coolers, and washer/dryer made our stay even better.

A nice little house. The bedroom is not connected to main part of house which was not a problem except when it rained. Its up a short flight of stairs. Very clean and great communication with prop mgr. One of his guys met us at the barge and led us to the house which is nice if you are not familiar with the island. Great location. We would stay here again when we return.

We love the location and amazing view of bay, boats, palms through the windows. Place has a nautical vibe…like being on a ship. The quirky floor plan we actually like. We would stay again in a heartbeat because it is accurately priced for what you get, conveniently located with pool.

The property was in really good shape - Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for preparing food, etc. The only draw back from this property for me (that is not the fault of the property) is the constant sound of the nearby market's HVAC/Refrigeration working overtime. We never got to enjoy the quiet while at the house which wasn't much time mind you. It wouldn't keep me from renting here again but it's worth noting. The upside of the market is that it's within walking distance which is great. The nearby restaurants were a lot of fun and definitely look up nearby Calabash Market for fresh fish.

My husband and I loved staying at Estate Carolina in Coral Bay, St. John, USVI April 2022. This was our 4th time renting the villa. Need I say more? The location is quiet , peaceful and has everything we need. Hoping to return soon.

My adult son and I enjoyed our stay in this well designed little cottage - ample screened porch with double doors to main room made for great flow in the living space plus a gorgeous view. Slight negatives were challenging driveway and low ceiling in sleeping loft. Plunge pool at end of day and convenient location of grill were offsetting pluses!

This property exceeded all of our expectations. Waking every morning to the beautiful sunrise and watching the birds in the colorfully landscaped yard was a true joy. It was great to be able to park the jeep after a day of exploiting the island and walk to bars and restaurants. The grocery was also right at the bottom of the street as well as cute shops. The house is perfect for a couple or two or a small family. We can’t wait to stay there again.

This is a beautiful property located up a short hill from Coral Bay. There is a lovely view of the harbor from the porch and deck and bedroom. You should definitely have the property managers meet you and guide you to the location rather than trying to use GPS because we had a bit of trouble finding it. They offered and we mistakenly declined since we were going to make some stops along the way. The home is immaculate and well furnished. THere are steps up to the deck with a private clean, well maintained pool. THe landscaping around the small yard area is lovely. You then climb a few more steps up to the screened in porch which is large and comfortable and contains a gas grill. From the porch you enter a spacious living area with a full kitchen and small dining area. There are comfortable couches and a large TV which connects to netflix if you wish. There is also a loft with a bed and a full bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need for cooking including spices and oils. From the main living area you go back down the steps outside (well lit with automatic lighting) and enter the master bedroom which is spacious with a king sized bed. There is an airconditioner in the bedroom. THe bathroom in the bedroom location is a bit smaller with a smaller shower but it works fine. The home is just up the road from the Dolphin Market and from restaurants and shopping and is actually walking distance. We loved sitting on our porch in the morning and late afternoon and evening. We did cook one dinner in and all of our breakfasts and lunch. They supply a cooler and ice packs and beach chairs which were very helpful. We snorkeled at Salt Pond, Lamshur (4 wheel drive required), Hansen beach, and Francis bay. THey were all fabulous as usual. We took a Kayak, snorkel trip with Arawak expeditions to Hurricane hole which was great. For dining, we had a great meal at Rhumb Lines (reservation preferred) and we had fun at Skinny Legs sitting at the bar and eating burgers and salad. For local flavor we recommend Ekaete Pink Corner. Because of Covid and staffing, definitely check before going to restaurants because their postings are not always up to date. We look forward to returning to this lovely home perhaps next year!!! THis was one of our favorite locations.

My partner and I had a wonderful three nights at the house and only wish we could have stayed longer. The value compared to other private homes or even hotels on the island was unbeatable. The property manager was very responsive and even let us check out late since we had an evening flight back on St Thomas. We ended up grilling every night to enjoy the pool, view, and screen porch but the town was very walkable. Just a two minute walk down the hill was a grocery store and bars and restaurants. It was about a 30 min drive from the ferry (Cruz Bay) and about 20-25 minute drive to the Northside beaches. As others have mentioned, the bedroom is a separate room "downstairs" but the house and porch felt so private that it didn't matter. Plus it was nice waking up and walking out onto the porch and sun to grab a cup of coffee upstairs. We did not have a 4WD car and made it just fine up the driveway, although it was hot and sunny our whole stay so I can't say what would have happened if it rained. Other tips: no shampoo or conditioner so bring your own, but lots of little bar soaps. And you should drink bottled water, as I believe the house uses rain water for it's taps. Would stay here again!

Stone Harbor was just what we needed. We enjoyed amazing sunrises, and the peacefulness of Coral Bay. We cooked every night and we’re thrilled with the location of the house just above the market. We hope to stay again.

Really nice property. Great location in Coral Bay very close to the local supermarket and restaurants. The view is breathtaking! You can hear a generator from the house but we did not mind too much. The screened porch is a great plus and has a big bbq. Pool is in private location.

we absolutely LOVED this property! It is unique and the view is spectacular! A wonderful driver met is at the car rental and we followed him to the property. He gave us the best recommendations of where to go and things to do on the island. Great text communication with property manager during the week. Cant recommend this place enough. We plan on returning for sure!

Perfect getaway location! We loved your home and amazing view! We enjoyed waking up early for sunrise on the deck by the pool! Also perfect to walk down to the local restaurants for dinner like Aqua Bistro. We had everything we needed and more! Beds were extra comfortable and we got some much needed R&R! Our only complaint is that we wish we were staying longer! Thank you for allowing us to celebrate a special birthday and getting to explore your beautiful island!

The house was perfect for our first stay in St John. We were close to several excellent restaurants and felt very comfortable at the house. The drive to the beaches was convenient and easily visited them all throughout the week. Loved every minute of our stay.

We loved our work/play stay at the Stone House and would stay again! Great pool, porch, location, and grilling setup.

Stayed here in January 2021. We had three people in our party and it worked great. It was clean and the location was convenient for everything. Loved the large screened in porch and pool! Definitely would stay here again!

My husband and I spent 5 nights at Stone Harbor...We loved spending mornings and evenings on the covered/screened porch .The view is incredible with beautiful sunrises, gorgeous landscaping and flowers, and a wonderful pool. We spent most days hiking, swimming and snorkeling at various locations and enjoyed the location of Coral Bay. Very quiet and safe area. The house had everything that we needed!

Stone Harbor was the perfect place for us to spend our honeymoon. Very peaceful and private, yet a very convenient location. We enjoyed relaxing at the house after spending the day exploring the island. We can’t wait to return!

This is our second time to St. John and our first time staying at Coral Bay. The house was in a perfect location, overlooking the bay, with stores and food just down the street. It had a great pool to cool off and an air conditioned bedroom in the lower level. The loft was lovely with a great view as well. The screened in porch allowed us to enjoy the breeze and play some cards after sunset. The washer and dryer worked fabulously. If you are looking for breathtaking views and a comfortable, cozy stay out of the hustle and bustle of Cruz Bay, this house is for you!

We just returned back from our shortened stay at the villa and because of the corona virus had to leave early. Oh we so didn't want to leave! It's in a perfect location in Coral bay and has beautiful views of the harbor. The bedroom was so comfortable and the main part of the house just wonderful. A lovely breeze flows through. The table on the front porch is wonderful for playing cards and visiting in the evening. We will definitely return!

We had an awesome stay. Comfy bed, beach chairs, beach towels, pots and pans, spices and condiments for cooking, amazing view. Two things to note: main bedroom is separate from upper living area, which was just the tiniest bit inconvenient, and you can here the air conditioning units in the back of the super market from the side of the cottage. Neither of those interferes with our complete enjoyment of the cottage. Communication for arrival and departure was very easy too, with James. Thanks for a great stay!

Very comfortable home with most amenities/supplies provided (the bug spray and sunscreens were very helpful!). This property is just as advertised in the listing. Beautiful home with dipping pool. We found everything in excellent condition. The kitchen fully stocked with dishes and utensils. Lots of spices also. The king bed was terrifically comfortable. We loved the location. Easy access to south end beaches such as Salt Pond and Lameshur. Easy access to East end beaches also. Walking distance to the grocery store, resturant and shopping. Who could ask for more ?!!!!?!!!!

We booked a few days before our arrival due to a unforeseen circumstance with our prior rental. Property manager had great communication from the beginning. We were met at the church in Coral Bay so they could show us the way to the property (it was after dark and our first time on the island) and showed us in and asked if we had any questions and left. We did not see or hear from them again, which was nice. The property is super convenient as it's just above the Dolphin Market and Aqua Bistro, but still quiet enough to enjoy an evening by the pool if you'd like. It is a very nice house, just know the main bedroom (with a king and bathroom) is essentially the lower level with the main house (living, kitchen, bath and loft) above it, but it cannot be accessed from inside. You exit the main bedroom, go up a few stairs to the pool, then up a few more stairs to the main part of the house. It was fine for us. There were a couple times we left the bedroom scantily clad to go up to the kitchen for a cold beverage from the fridge. The bathrooms were very nice with the shower just a tad larger upstairs so we used that one and only the toilet downstairs. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need to include a blender, coffee maker, toaster and crock pot. We made steaks on the grill a couple times, spaghetti one night and eggs most mornings. There were no condiments left in the fridge so don't expect to possibly have a half stick of butter or a dollop of ketchup. There were spices in the cabinet and they did provide little soap bars in the shower. The wifi worked fantastic and the pool was cleaned while we were there although we didn't even use it. Spent too much time at the beach I guess. Grill worked fine, use low if doing steaks so it doesn't flame up. They had coolers, beach bags, snorkel gear, floaties for the pool, bag chairs, and actual beach chairs. They also had a washer and dryer and we did do one load before heading home and another load of some towels as we felt like we had used a lot. Just washed them and folded them and stored in the closet for them to hang nicely. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were great. The main bedroom did have an AC that we used for about one hour the entire time we were there. We did use the 4WD in the jeep to get up the driveway as it is steep. We loved the location in Coral Bay rather then the bustle of Cruz Bay. This is a gem of a property.

The property manager provided great customer service with information on how to get from St Thomas to St John via ferry, the best Jeep rental company, having someone meet us in Cruz Bay and guide us to the house in Coral Bay, and checking in with us during our stay. The property and location were perfect for the three of us, and the amenities - pool, screened in porch, grill, beach chairs, laundry, movie selection - were appreciated and used every day. An added surprise was relaxing on the porch and having live music waft up from the restaurant below. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath setup provided a nice degree of separation and privacy.

Stone harbor is a great place right in Coral bay. The view is amazing and the screened in porch is the perfect place to soak in the view. Our family really enjoyed our stay!
