We had a nice family get away this wonderful property with a great location.

House was perfect for my whole family to stay at and so close to the beach access. The owners were very accommodating for us as we were coming down for a wedding and had a couple special requests for us to be able to get to the wedding on time.

We loved the place! It was great for our family. There was plenty of room and lots of extras in the garage for the kids - toys, bikes, wave boards, etc. Hope to stay again sometime.

Our family enjoyed every moment at this wonderful home! From the accessibility with the elevator for seniors to the beach accessories available, careful consideration was given to the needs of their guests. Proximity to the beach access will bring us back.

As an extended family we've been going to Kure Beach for 20+ years. Most everyone agreed that this may have been the best house we've ever had! From start to finish, everything was smooth and problem free - no complaints! Highly recommend this home!

Our family of 14 had an amazing week at Kure Beach, and this house made that possible! Anything you could possibly need could be found at the house-books, games, beach chairs, umbrellas, a buggy to get things to the beach, and several bicycles. The elevator allowed everyone to access all areas of the house and helped with all of the heavy bags. Within a short walk /bike ride we were able to spend time on the beach, play games at the arcade, fish from the pier, or venture into several local restaurants and shops. Kathleen was always quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our trip. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation. Everything about our stay was great! Our family of 13 came from different parts of the country to Kure Beach .We arrived before entrance time and were let in with no problems. The elevator helped so much with the heavy items. We cooked most meals and the kitchen was great. Owner replaced the coffee maker within a short time for us. The beach was great every day. The beach wagon was so helpful along with extra items. Our teens rode the bikes. The high point of week was ordering a seafood boil to cook and serve at the house. It was from Cape Fear Boil Company. We stayed here for 4 days after traveling from the UK for a family wedding. The house is even more lovely than the pictures suggest, and there is absolutely everything there that you need. Kathleen was really helpful, although we had no issues, but all communication prior to visiting was very quick in response. We had 3 separate families staying and the space was perfect for us all. Really enjoyed our stay! Close to beach and family friendly space!

My husband and I took our three sons and their friends ages 14-22, a total of 9 "kids" and us. We loved the location, close to the beach and all of the amenities we needed. It was great having bikes, beach chairs and everything we needed for the kitchen. The hand soap, tissues, toilet paper and even spices added an even extra touch. We highly recommend this property and the owners were fabulous. It was a great time with many memories made.

This Beautiful Condo was very clean with a very well-stocked and equipped Kitchen/Garage. It had plenty of Beach items, including chairs, bikes and a beach wagon. Both porches have great views of the ocean. Comfy beds in all bedrooms. Elevator very handy and accessible for a standard-sized wheelchair. The owners were friendly and answered our questions. We would definately rent again.

We came on on Tuesday, the house was ready for us. The elevator made this vacation possible. After 2 days, the 2 year old knew how to get to the beach, it was so close. We had a wonderful time and will try to repeat next year.

Everything about this property was good from start to finish. The host kept contact with me before evening arriving. Once there he walked us through the ins and outs of the home. We were one block from the beach. The beach had two different accesses for us. The pier was a nice walk from the home and there was no charge for the pier. The host had any and everything that you could think of for us to use. I would definitely consider using his property if in the Kure area in the future.

Jimmy and Cathy's house was everything we hoped it would be. The house is one short block from the beach, which puts it pretty much as close as you can get on a quiet street. Kure Beach, especially this southern end, is a great location for a family hoping to stay away from most of the commercialism and crowds that you can get further north on the island. We could walk or run down to Ft. Fisher on our more ambitious days. The house is spacious, clean, and in great repair. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of cooking and serving dishes and even a bunch of spices. There are videos, games, and books for all ages. Downstairs, they keep beach towels, bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, frisbees, sand toys, umbrellas, and a cart for hauling your selection of items to the beach each day. No need to bring any gear of your own, really! Jimmy greeted us in person and was a terrific host, giving lots of detail about the house and the area. This place is a great find.

We found the home to be very spacious, especially for the number of people (11 adults). The elevator was a blessing in that we had on individual who has difficulty with stairs. Access to the beach was much easier than first thought it would be.

Great home for large group. Kitchen is very spacious as well as eating area n living room. Open concept which was great for us bc we could keep an eye in kids while cooking n eating. Gas grill was a plus bc restaurants were crowded or closed when we were there. Close to beach n with wagon it was so easy to get there n back. Kids loved the beach n going to the Pier which was also in walking distance. Great vacation home.

As a family that has rented their fair share of beach houses we were pleasantly surprised at how well maintained and equipped this house was for our large party. It was easily the best experience we’ve ever had renting for a week!

This is a lovely well maintained and stocked home. The owners are very communicative and immediately address any issues that arise. The location is perfect for the beach and the pier. There are more than enough beach chairs, umbrellas, toys and a very nice cart to haul everything. Tropical Storm Elsa was a new experience for everyone but our spirits were not dampened. Home had plenty of other activities to keep 6 kids and 8 adults going. Beach was beautiful and a very short walk from the rental. It was well supplied and Jimmy was always a text or phone call away

The perfect beach house for a large family. There’s plenty of room for everyone and the house is stocked with everything you would need for a beach day. There’s also plenty of movies, games and books to keep kids busy. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away. Jimmy was wonderful and we’ll definitely be coming back:

This was a wonderful house! We enjoyed staying here very much. It had everything we needed and more. The elevator was a such a nice thing to have to get luggage and groceries up and down the 3 levels. We also really enjoyed using the beach cart, it was a lifesaver! There are beach toys, bikes, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach chairs and games in the garage that came in so handy. It was so nice that we didn’t have to worry about bringing our own beach chairs. The kitchen is well equipped, it has just about everything you need. The beds were very comfortable, and it was so great that linens and towels were provided. We all had a fabulous beach week.

We had a wonderful family vacation/ family reunion week. The house is wonderful. Lots of toys, books, games, beach chairs umbrellas to take to the beach. Short walk to the beach! Great stay!

We absolutely loved staying here.. Jimmy was easy to talk and easy to get ahold of . We loved how well stocked the place was and the beach chairs and wagon which made to two minute walk to the beach that much easier. The elevator was a godsend. Such a beautiful place with a beautiful view. We will definitely be back !

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was great, it is near the beach and shops, and has a view of the ocean. We definitely want to return!

My family really enjoyed our stay in "No Bad Days" on Kure Beach. The beach itself was very nice and the property quite comfortable. There were many pleasant surprises, such as the availability of beach chairs and sand toys there at the house. We had some issues with the working condition of certain appliances, but we understand that a property that is in use will eventually have some maintenance needs arise mid-stay. The one issue that we contacted the owner about mid-stay was that the dryer stopped working. Jimmy was very responsive and repaired the dryer the very next day! The other issues were comparatively minor, and we brought them to Jimmy's attention as we left and are confident that they will all be taken care of for future guests. Overall we had a very good experience.

What a wonderful vacation in this beautiful and well equipped home. Jimmy was the perfect host, meeting us at checkin and showing us all around. There were 6 adults including 3 of our adult children, son in law, and son and fiance for he weekend and 6 grandkiddos. Our daughter and family live in Wilmington so they spent the days on the beach with us. 13 out of 14 days we were on the beach which was only a very short walk away. Beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys are in the garage and a great cart to carry everything to the beach. Unfortunately, the day that wasn't a beach day we couldn't go to the aquarium due to covoid but we went to Greenfield Park in Wilmington to see the alligators and turtles. Our 3rd day Hurricane Isaias made its way to Kure with tornado watches. We all huddled on the 1st floor hallway until the warnings passed. We did lose power for about 18hrs and Jimmy was in contact with us to make sure everyone was OK. The next morning the sun was shining and a beautiful beach day. Everything in the home was the best. Kiddos really enjoy the many dvds and books and adults love the comfy beds. You won't be disappointed if you stay at this wonderful home!

Our family enjoyed a very relaxing trip to the beach staying at this home. We had everything we needed and then some. The owner was so wonderful in calling prior to arrival to ensure a smooth start. The home is beautiful with room to spread out and all the comforts of home. Getting to the beach each day was a breeze. We loaded up the beach cart and walked right in over. There were so many chairs, umbrellas and toys to choose from the kids had no need to even share they each could use their own. We look forward to coming back in the future.

Our stay at Jimmy's property this week was just hands down amazing. Jimmy is attentive, responsive and the house is SO WELL STOCKED. Like being in our own home, seriously. We stayed with 5 families (yes, were a little crazy) and it was perfect. The view of the sunrise or watching a storm on the deck. The beach is 2 blocks. You don't need to bring any beach equipment, Jimmy has it all! We enjoyed long bike rides on all the side streets in the evening. We really have complaints. If you're going with a big group - just be aware that the hardwood floors and living area being on the 3rd floor makes it a bit noisy for daytime naps or late evenings playing games. The check in and check out was super simple. The street is pretty much all owner-occupied (not rentals) so it's super quiet at night. We are already chatting with Jimmy about coming next year! You won't regret booking this property!

We had a truly fine vacation in this very comfortable house. It has everything needed for the beach (boogie boards, surfboards, kids' beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and a cart to tote everything in). The house itself is lovely and homey with a large, well equipped kitchen and a table which seats 8 comfortably (a big plus for us, since we saw many properties that divided up the seating... e.g, 6 at table, 2 at counter etc.) We wanted our meals all together. We used the elevator to bring up groceries and luggage and that was a big help! My husband was very happy with the quality of the water in the house and the good supply of ice from the refrigerator. Strong wi-fi throughout the house. Our grandchildren, ages 6 and 8, loved the house as well and enjoyed the many children's books, games and videos. Kure Beach is a nice, quiet community within easy distance of Carolina Beach which has more activities available. The house is a couple short blocks from the beach and in another direction a few blocks from ice cream. What could be better? Jimmy met us when we arrived for a walk-through, answered all of our questions and left clear information and instructions in the house. Barbara

What a well laid-out, decorated, and supplied home just steps from the beach! We gather each summer as 3 families of friends with kids and this has been our favorite. Jimmy was always quick to respond, provided helpful information sheets both before our stay and for our time in the house, and did a thorough walk-through of the home when we arrived. The house was immaculate and provided everything we could need including paper products, cleaning supplies, kitchen appliances and useful items like aluminum foil and spices, binders with local information, a basket with things like a spare pair of reading glasses, and more! So much thought has went into these details! And we loved the garage full of organized, amazing items such as adult bikes, 10+ beach chairs, sand toys, 6+ boogie boards, a grill (my husband wants one like it now:), and more! The layout of the house was so helpful as we could divide up between families. There are a lot of stairs between 3 floors but the elevator was so helpful and we were thankful that it has many safety features and is inspected annually. The balconies are beautiful and a peaceful way to escape and see the ocean a block away. The location was perfect to be able to access the beach! A wonderful beach access is just down a 1/2 block, over a block and Jimmy provided two beach carts and we could access it (even with kids!) in less than 5 minutes. That part of the beach is calmer, too, away from the pier. You can access Carolina Beach and it's activities in 5 minutes (or a short bike ride)! We enjoyed things such as taking the Ft. Fisher ferry to Southport, walking the boardwalk in Carolina Beach (Brit's Doughnuts!), taking a pirate cruise in Wrightsville Beach (35 min away), and more! Such a lovely location with both peace and activity and what a gem of a place to explore it from! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
