The Apartment is in an excellent location for restaurants and day excursions. It came Clean and equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Giovann was an Amazing host and gave us a wealth of information for the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent option to stay with family and great location.

The layout was great for a group - the sofa had a privacy wall separating it from the kitchen area, so people could sleep with others using the kitchen in the morning or evening. The host, Giovanni, was superb - meeting us to explain everything in the apartment and nearby sites (plus sending it all in advance), and was a help booking taxis for us a few times. Washing machine was great (quick cycle is done in 30 mins), and the drying rack outside the balcony quickly dried everything (and made us feel like locals!). Strong A/C was appreciated on the hot July days. Great restaurants nearby, as well as SITA bus stop, and beach. I also appreciated that the building had an elevator - very convenient when checking in with all our luggage. We didn’t use it the rest of the stay, though, but I’m sure that’s a feature other guests work want to know about.

It’d be nice if there was more than 1 bathroom. 6 people need to use it serially, and it was a backlog especially when showering after the beach, or getting ready in the morning.

Amazing location, very clean and quiet. Superb host.

I usually don't talk first about the host, because I think the quality of the apartment is more important, but our host was the best we've had, and we travel frequently. He met us at the apartment, showed us how to operate everything, gave us recommendations on places to eat and visit, and left us items for a typical small Italian breakfast and a large bottle of water. The apartment was equally wonderful. There were paper towels, napkins, and plenty of soap, shampoo and hair conditioner provided. The bathroom was reasonably spacious. There was great water pressure and ample hot water. The living space was perfectly sized for two people. We didn't feel at all crowded. The air conditioning was more than adequate and cooled the place quickly. The building had an elevator, which is helpful when traveling with luggage. And the location was great - a 25 minute walk on flat ground from the train station, and just minutes from the waterfront, shopping, and restaurants.

If you plan to use the kitchen for meal preparation, know that it is small (as can be seen in the photos.) However, I cooked breakfast there two mornings, so it can be done. If you tend to not cook in when you're on vacation, do not let this deter you, because the apartment is really quite nice.

Arriving Salerno too late in the evening for picking up rental car, we (a Norwegian family of 4) were suddenly in strong need for a place to stay the night. The host was amazing, in our view representing Italian kindness and charm at its very best. Thank you, John! The apartment was first class standard and was perfect for our family of 4.
