This place was awesome.

Property was as advertised. Bed was comfortable. Hot Tub relaxing. WYFI was very good, I was worried it might be cold in the Yurt, but it was very comfortable. make sure you follow the written directions from the owner. I would stay here again.

Overall, a great place to stay. Fairly close to the parkway and a short drive to the city for daily entertainment. Wifi was a little wonky, but we didn’t really need to use it so not a bummer for us, cable worked pretty good! Hot tub was clean and secluded. Water was nice and hot in the shower. It is right across the street from another yurt, so that wasn't expected, but it didn’t affect us.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was very convenient to town with still feeling pretty secluded. I was also impressed with how cool the yurt stayed, even with it being so hot outside. It was well stocked and communication with the manager was very easy. The bed/pillows were not the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on and the WiFi was spotty at best but all in all it was a great stay.

I have always wanted to stay in a yurt and this was perfect. Secluded in the woods, this uyrt had everything you would need. It was a perfect place to get away and unhooked from civilization and become one with nature. I will definitely be back.

The area of the property is incredible. Trees, wildlife, wildflowers - and in the middle of the woods, just gorgeous. The drive up is a bit rough - I could definitely see an AWD vehicle being needed if it was raining, definitely if any wintry weather was involved. The check-in process is different than described in the rental agreement. It was somewhat difficult to reach the primary contact for the yurt by phone about questions on the check-in process, both due to phone signal at the facility and due to one contact number being out of service. Cleanliness was the thing most in question. Lots of dust in every area not in everyday use, hot tub was very green even given the water quality, and the sheets on the bed appeared used (particularly the dried crusty substance all over the pillowcase). Overall not a bad spot, just needs some more regular cleaning.

If it rains out, it’s loud. If you are a light sleeper bring a fan or noise maker! We enjoyed our stay. Steep drive up Ducker’s View but worth the experience, all you need for a great getaway!

It was a great experience! Everything as described and so clean, had all accommodations you need. The hot tub was a great addition as well. So private and perfect for our few days of relaxation as we celebrated our 23 anniversary!! Only a few miles from anything you would need! Property owner had everything ready for us when we arrived! Would definitely stay again!!

The place was absolutely enchanting. The location, the interior decor, deck with grill and hot tub were all a perfect setting for our birthday getaway.

This place was great! So comfy. Remote, peaceful, yet super convenient to town. Highly recommend this place.

Overall excellent stay. If you like to cook or bake, you might want to bring a few things from home. We baked some brownies and left a 9x9 pan which we had to buy because there was nothing there, but happy to do so. If you do a lot of food prep, bring a folding table as counter space is very limited. Otherwise and excellent stay, and loved getting in the hot tub every evening.

Basic yurt, had the necessities. The stay wasn't bad, but could have been better with a few things: 1. Air conditioning should have been turned on earlier, prior to our check in so it wasn't so hot upon arrival. The air did work and cool down but it just was an odd way.to start the stay. 2. Boards at the top of the yurt had very big cobwebs. I understand cleaning them is difficult, but it made the yurt feel dirty, when most of it wasn't. 3. Some dishes were dirty, we rewashed most things we were going to use.

Secluded, beautiful mountain scenery, distinct experience. Amazing how "big" it seemed once inside. All amenities available, including hot tub. Only 12 min away from Biltmore Estates. Would definitely stay again.

The yurt was just as I imagined from the site. Check in was super easy. The road was not as easy to navigate as imagined, we made it okay with an off road vehicle, but it was very bumpy and could be more difficult for non-mountain terrain people/vehicles. The heat worked great, was nervous since going during the winter, even had some snow outside and still felt toasty inside. Be careful on front steps though during inclement weather, very slippery, but to be expected during bad weather.

My boyfriend and I went here as a little getaway, and we both loved it. During our trip our car broke and the owner was super sweet and gave us a ride back to the yurt to get out things and took us to the uhaul place. Super friendly man! 10/10 would recommend!

The property is charming. Perfectly clean and well thought-out (and I’m picky). However, the barking dog and lack of A timely WiFi service seriously detract from the overall quality if the stay. The Relentless barking dog was just awfully nerve racking ...hence lack of peaceful stay. Plus you have to go by the dog and it’s a car chaser

Staying in a yurt was a neat experience! We had a great time! The road and driveway is a rough mountain road so I would recommend driving a vehicle that sits up higher than a car. Like a SUV or truck. But you can make it in a car.

Location is nice. This place is not clean. Dust has accumulated everywhere. The dishes appeared to have not been throughly cleaned. The door was left unlocked even though the instructions indicate to call upon checkin to get a code. We had to clear out spider webs to get in the door. Hot tub had bugs and leaves in it - could not find a net to clean it out. Mold on the shower curtain. (I took pictures of these things) Calcium deposits thick on shower head. We stay in Yurts regularly. This was by far the worst.

This lovely and well equipped yurt was OMazing. The property owner, Simms, was super responsive to help when I had a small issue working the TV. It’s location is ideal and the hot tub at night is such a treat! Will come back again and again! Simms - thank you for such a beautiful experience!

Secluded and woodsy; relaxing setting. Gravel road was steep and rough, but doable. It did cause us to choose to stay close to the yurt rather than venturing out as often as we typically would on vacation. Fortunately no destructive rain during our stay. Adequately equipped kitchen. Grilling on the deck was lovely. Access to nearby hiking trail via the road was too steep for us - turned around before arriving at the path. Grocery store and local amenities close and convenient - once you make it back to pavement. Disappointed with wifi and satellite service; ended up using data on personal devices rather than the TV. Bathroom was bigger than it seemed in the photo, but shower water pressure is weak at best. Hot tub was very private with nice star gazing. Bring your own pillow as none are provided. Great spot for low-key seclusion and quiet.
