El lugar es un espacio tranquilo, con una vista espectacular, el silencio y la naturaleza se combinan perfectamente para tener un tiempo de descanso y disfrute agradable. Rafael es una estrella de persona y nos resolvió en todo momento con algunas situaciones, su honestidad y sonrisa amable fueron claves para sentirnos seguros y confiados en el lugar. Por igual, Lourdes nos respondió oportunamente a cada pregunta que tuvimos antes de llegar al lugar, lo cual hace que uno tenga mayor confianza de que ha elegido bien.

Como sugerencia pudiera agregar que se le explique al cliente las particularidades del lugar antes de llegar... como el tema del Jacuzzi dura aproximadamente 5 horas para calentar y para evitar el descontento pues si ya se coloca la hora de llegada tener esa parte lista para usar porque no se disfruta completamente si vas por tiempo limitado y hay que esperar tanto tiempo. Reparar la puerta del balcón para que sea de fácil cierre y limpiar los espejos por la parte de madera ya que se ve la pasta de dientes pegada en ellos y es desagradable...

The privacy the mountain.

The light went out.

After reading reviews of many options in the area, I chose this one because of the reviews of cleanliness, updated rooms, and the quality of the road leading to the property. All of these points met my expectations.

Neighbor noise ruined our stay. The guests in the room above us were playing their music VERY loudly until 3am. It felt like there was a discotech in our bedroom. I live in the DR, and understand Dominican culture. But, you book a remote area in the woods to escape the noise, not be surrounded by it. The owner was nowhere to be found - there was no one to complain to. I had to get dressed and go ask the neighbors, myself, to turn down the music, which they did for about 20 minutes until it got loud again. Further, a huge tree blocks the view of the mountains from the rooms and porches. I understand the need to protect nature, but this tree needs to be cut. It significantly devalues the room. There is NO VIEW. The only place with a decent view is the pool area. The description of the "hotel" leads you to believe this area is open to all guests. However, upon arrival, we were told that the Red Room has exclusive access to this area, and we were not permitted (we were staying in the Blue Room). Very disappointing. The kitchen had no cooking supplies. We had to ask for a greca (stovetop coffee percolator) which is usually standard in Dominican kitchens.

The owners are fantastic, so sweet and friendly. We stayed in the blue house and it is quaint and adorable. It's really lovely being up in the mountains. Gorgeous gas stove and oven, large fridge.

The vegetation blocks the blue room view, so it's lovely to have privacy, but you cannot see through the trees to appreciate the view. The house is very very simply stocked, so self-cooking was a challenge - could do with some more cutlery. There was a yap yap dog down the mountain, so while everything was peaceful, that dog kept us awake all night.

The hot water at the shower was intermittent and the heater for the jacuzzi never worked (in spite of the property caretaker attempts at fixing it) so it was an incomplete and somewhat disappointing experience for both of us.
