After a bit of a bumpy start (the property manager listed on VBRO is no longer the manager for this property and so we were never contacted about check in instructions), the stay was very nice. This is very much a well loved house that has helped make lots of great memories over the years. This is not a professionally run rental house. Keep that in mind, and it’s perfect for families and friends vacation. The size of the house was great, rooms were perfect for our needs, hot tub was hot, and the location was out of the way of all the traffic. All in all a great trip.

very family friendly accomodations that included availability of cribs, high chairs , etc for kids and infants. It was also great to have an extra car available for use. The location was perfect, just minutes to downtown edwards for rental shops and food/liquor, and close to beaver creek and vail resorts/ski slopes.

The home was perfect for our family. It provided adequate living spaces for all. John, our host, was very communicative and was available and very helpful with any questions we had before and during our stay. The house had everything we needed to make for a fun ski trip for our family.

Perfect !!
We are a large family from California to florida that likes to meet somewhere for vacation together. We are of all ages. This house was absolutely perfect. It checked all the boxes for us. Creek in the back yard , hot tub , fireplaces. Plenty of sleeping space, Game room if you want to cook, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We haven’t even left yet and we were planning on coming back!! The whole group is 100% in !! Thank you for opening up your families home to allow our family to come together

Very spacious house - perfect for a two family ski trip. Property management was excellent and very responsive, including the driveway being plowed early morning. Great stay!

ALWAYS the best!
We’ve been guests at this home for many years and have always had THE. best. time. We’ve made wonderful family memories, and enjoyed this beautiful well appointed and oh so comfy home! Our family has grown over these years and yet there is still room, privacy, and special space for all of us. The dining room is amazing for shared meals and game nights! Shuffleboard and billiards contests are a favorite, too….And the hot tub…a very roomy spot to enjoy a glass of wine and look at the gorgeous sky! The owners are amazing and the property managers, top notch!! We will keep coming back…

Great for two families
A beautiful house in a lovely quiet location about 15 mins to Beaver Creek and maybe 25 mins to Vail. The house met all our needs and the deer visiting each day was a bonus. The driveway is a little treacherous so have an SUV. The garage is full of owners golf carts and their car which was not ideal, however the owner was very friendly and allowed us to move his car to the driveway thereby giving us access to the garage.
Hot tub and pool table were well used and the house had everything you need for a holiday. 5 stars from me

Beautiful house
This is a luxury accommodation in a gated neighborhood. The house has everything you’d expect and was comfortable and peaceful for our guys ski trip. There is an elk herd that visited daily, which was a nice touch. It is hard to tell, but I get the sense that the owners are from Texas ;-). Be aware, and this has nothing to do with the rental, parking at Beaver Creek fills up fast on peak days, so consider car service / uber / taxis if you are not an early riser. I would recommend this place as a great getaway for your family or group.

Wonderful house
Our group was 4 adults and 6 kids ranging from 11 years old to 17 years old and we stayed for 7 nights during spring break of 2021. Nobody wanted to leave!!! We loved this house! Very private with security gate at the entrance of the subdivision which has a security guard 24/7. Neighbors are spread out so we had a lot of privacy. Kids were sledding in the back yard on the golf course. We saw a herd of about 50 elk. The house was very nice and very clean. Kids stayed downstairs and used the game room while the adults hung out upstairs. Drive to Beaver Creek was only about 7 minutes. Beds were very comfortable and everyone slept great. The owner and his property manager were very nice and responsive. I would definitely go back.

Great family house!
Our group consisted of two sets of grandparents, two sets of parents and four children aged 2 to 7, celebrating multiple birthdays. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was by far the most well-stocked of any rental I’ve ever stayed in and had everything you could want. Some of party skied both Vail and Beaver Creek and others passed the time lounging around the house and taking in the scenery. The dining room and family room were excellent for gathering and there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their own space. Would definitely stay again when in the area!

an EPIC stay!!! again!
Our family of ten stayed here for a week in mid January and had THE BEST time ever!! We have visited this property a few times before and it never disappoints! Our adult son, wife, and their two children, our adult daughter, husband and their two children and my husband and I all have beautiful and comfortable "space" for togetherness or time apart. The large dining table with both fireplaces is our favorite spot for meals and games and the separate play/gaming area downstairs is a family favorite! the views are spectacular and the property managers are THE most accomodating and responsive! We didnt wnat to leave but will be back...hopefully soon!!!

Wonderful Winter in Cordillera
This is a fabulous spacious home with lots of areas for multiple families or big family gathering. Games for all to enjoy. The most beautiful setting with postcard views! Manager and owner very responsive. Will definitely visit again!

Amazing Father Son trip - 4 Dads with 5 college Boys
It was nothing short of Perfect! The house was incredible in every way. It handle a large group with no problem. The location was convenient to great skiing at both Vail and Beaver Creek each day. Most importantly, we all couldn’t wait to get back to the house after a long day on the slopes. The game room was perfect for the boys and the hot tub great for the Dads’ celebration of a great day! Both John, the owner and Sylvan, the Property Manager, were extremely hospitable and eager to make sure our stay was a memorable one. Thank you to you both! We have already blocked our calendars off for a trip to John’s beautiful home next year. Thank you again!

Great home for families visiting the BC or Vail ski areas
We had an excellent time at this Cordillera Valley home.
John was very responsive and our ski week was a huge success.
We had some minor issues with a fireplace not turning on and a pilot light going out, but Eddie, the maintenance man was there within 15 minutes to get it taken care of.
The loaner car for local driving was a huge benefit for us and I'd recommend this home to families seeking a cozy home near Vail or Beaver Creek.

This beautiful home was perfect spot for 10 people and 3 generations of our family on recent ski tri
Hot tub, sledding on the golf course, easy access to Beaver Creek, plenty of baby accessories for our 10 month old grand daughter made this the perfect setting for family ski trip. The spacious living areas and comfy furnishings allowed us to spread out for quiet times when needed or come together for some great family times. We would return here without hesitation.

perfect house for large families
Getting harder and harder to find houses big enough to fit my expanding family of 14 but this house worked out great. All the kids enjoyed the playroom and the adults enjoyed the large well-appointed bedrooms and 2 dens. The house was fully equipped and everything was in working order, plus Eddie the manager was very responsive on questions and small details/questions. A quick 15-20 minute drive to Beaver creek for skiing and easy access to I-70 made it a great spot. Even had items for babies and kids like plastic dishes, cribs, and pool table/shuffleboard they used daily. adults loved the hot tub and views.

Majestic Setting
This lovely home is situated with the most beautiful views in all of Colorado. The floor plan of the home makes it conducive to smaller more intimate group visits or for large family vacations. It has all of the comforts of home! The fabulous kitchen made mealtimes an event to look forward to. Grilling out on the upstairs deck and finding fresh cuisine from the local grocery, all helped complete the perfect stay.

Ski vacation
Excellent home we were there with our adult children and our grand children 13 of us in total. The 5 grandchildren all stayed in the bunk bed room which gave us 4 bedrooms for the 4 adult couples. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was well laid out. Could not have asked for more. We all had a great time.

Just spent the last 5 days enjoying our perfect vacation in this beautiful home. We will definitely be booking again and recommending this rental to any friends or family that travel here!
The home is spacious, clean, and decorated with all the rustic touches you would expect in a mountain house.
The beds are super comfortable. The game room was amazing for the kids and the adults. We loved having coffee in the morning room watching the elk.
One day we laid low and spent some time in the hot tub, sledding in the side yard, and taking naps.
The kitchen is well equipped.
We skiied in Beaver Creek almost every day. About a 10 minute drive.
We have been on ski vacations before with 2 families of 5. This was our favorite property and I am certain we will be back.

I visited Colorado for a week with a couple of girlfriends for a girls outing. Although my friends are huge outdoor lovers, I am more of home body. I spent my days cooking and baking in this beautiful and well equipped kitchen, reading in front of the huge stone fireplace that graced the gorgeous living room and soaking in the hot tub with a glass of wine. The views from the living room were like no other. The well manicured golf course was right in front with an outstanding mountain backdrop off in the distance. This place was picture perfect. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for that true home away from home experience. I look forward to visiting again in the near future. Family Ski Trip
This was perfect for our family Holiday vacation. There were 13 of us and we all slept comfortably and soundly in this beautiful home. Some of the group skied while others stayed by one of the four gorgeous fireplaces. We had 3 teenage boys that loved the game room. The kids had fun in the hot tub and the well-equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking family meals. We saw many elk and deer every morning. One day, there were more than 30 elk very close to the home. It was breathtaking. It was absolutely a dream. The kids are already planning another trip!

Truly a vacation of a lifetime!
Spending a week here with y girlfriends was the best idea we ever had! This palatial home was so much fun to hang out in that we were reluctant to leave every day for our adventures and it was a pleasure to return every evening. The owners have truly thought of everything here! The beds are crazy comfortable and each bedroom has its own theme. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and the brochures on the areas dining options and things to do was very helpful. We skied, rode horses, did the hot springs, and had some fabulous meals (do not miss Spendido!). I am not usually a morning person but watching the sun rise and anticipating seeing the Elk right in the back yard was one of my highlights! The mornings it snowed the driveway was shoveled for us early. Having the transport arranged to and from the airport was a great help as well. I can't wait to return!

Ultimate Girls Vacation House
This house has a wonderful view, four cozy fireplaces, and other perfect amenities that fit all of our tastes and flavors. Some stayed by the fireside and cooked in the well equipped kitchen, while others went skiing or horseback riding. There are many activities in close proximity and the owner provides a large 4wheel drive vehicle to make the side trips easier.

Highly recommend this house - it was perfect for our girls' trip
This house was the perfect spot for our girls' trip to Colorado! The house is EXTREMELY nice - beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds, very nice kitchen and bathrooms, amazing views, and it's in a gorgeous gated community right on a golf course. There are plenty of bedrooms for everyone to retreat for a little privacy, but when we all wanted to be together, the common areas were perfect - we could drink coffee on the deck in the morning, relax in the hot tub at night, huddle around one of the fireplaces, play pool and shuffle board in the game room, cook a big dinner in the gourmet kitchen then eat together in the spacious dining room. Everyone in my group agreed that it was the most perfect long weekend spent in beautiful Colorado. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to visit the Vail/Beaver Creek area, and I will definitely be returning myself!

Family trip out West!
Our family of 6 enjoyed this wonderful home for 5 days. We hated to leave the house as much as we hated to see vacation end in general! The views from everywhere in the house were incredible. Watching the sun rise from the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in was priceless! We saw a herd of elk (unable to count how many) cross the back yard 1 morning...amazing! The location was great. So close to Beaver Creek & Vail. We also drove to Breckenridge & through Glenwood Canyon. We took a snowmobile tour that was awesome! We all totally enjoyed our "down" time at the house playing pool & shuffle board & watching the stars from the hot tub! One of the best vacations we have ever had! Thank you!

White Christmas
We were a group of 7 that wanted to experience a White Christmas in a nice house in Colorado. We couldn't have chosen a better house and location. It was so spacious and well appointed. The size of the house allows for everyone to have their own privacy and then come together in communal areas like the main room or the downstairs game area. It had everything that we could have needed. It is obvious that there has been a lot of thought put into the décor and furnishings. Having the car for local use was so helpful and really made our stay so much easier. The views were spectacular, the location of the house was perfect for skiing. It really was a dream come true. We hope to return as soon as we can!!! We would highly recommend this property. Do not hesitate!

February 2012 Stay at "Luxury Home - Beaver Creek Area" #197941
We just returned from a great ski week at Vail/Beaver Creek. The home was perfect for our family with 3 young kids and another family also with young ones. Its secluded location in an upscale community was perfect to get the great Colorado mountain experience. The house is far superior to the expectations imagined from the photos. The home was clean and well prepared to receive incoming vacationers. The hot tub was a cathartic end to a great skiing day. The owner was very helpful with answering questions and concerns. We typically have stayed at ski-in ski-out locations in the past and found this experience new and refreshing. The drive to the resort(s) is relatively short and getting away to a true "mountain retreat" was great. Having the car at our disposal was an added bonus.
Just a few final recommendations for anyone staying at this location, visit "The Kind", a ski/snowboard/cycling shop in Edwards for your ski equipment needs. Their prices were better than the resort(s) and it was nice to not have to deal with the ski rental rush in the mornings. As for pizza try JP's Old Forge pizza. Their pepperoni pizza is excellent.

Wonderful accomodations for two families - highly recommended
The photos just don't do this place justice. It is much nicer than than it looks online. The owners have done a great job decorating this home and have maintained it well. Our group stayed here for a Spring Brask trip in mid-March 2010. We had 6 college students between our two families. The downstairs game room and outdoor spa were perfect for keeping the younger crowd entertained while we visited with friends from Denver, upstairs. We had several large dinners of 14+ people that we prepared in the gourmet kitchen and grill on the deck (just outside the kitchen). The view was great and we were away from the crowds! Beaver Creek is about 10 minutes away and Vail about 20. The property manager Eddie was very helpful and easy to contact. We hope to return soon.
