Really enjoyed our stay at Lover's Key resort. Staff were very friendly and the unit was fantastic. Would definitely be back!

TL: DR version: It's exactly as advertised, the condo is pristine, the pool is full of children, and the beach is gorgeous but a decent walk to get there. Details below: You'll be emailed a code that unlocks the door to the condo. That's it. No real check-in, but you'll have to stop at the desk for a parking pass if you have a car. The condo is a corner unit on the 13th floor (which they call the Penthouse floor because 13 is scary). The condo is just like it looks in the photos. The view is breathtaking out all of the windows and off the deck, which has a small table with 4 chairs. The kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook. The bathroom is huge and spotless. Towels and beach towels provided. The bed is comfy with plenty of pillows. It would be a tight fit if you brought more than 2 people and wanted to use the pull-out couch, but if you like your extra guests a lot, it might be okay. The pool is good size and also spotlessly clean. There is a small hot tub, and both overlook the bay where dolphin and manatee are frequent guests. There are plenty of chairs and tables with umbrellas, and we never had an issue getting a spot with some shade. This is a popular place for families with young kids, so the pool isn't quiet or relaxing, but this probably changes with the seasons. We traveled in July. Flipper's restaurant is right next door, and great for lunch or dinner. We ate there several times, and took carryout up to the room to eat on the deck. Highly recommend. They sometimes come around the pool and take drink orders, but that was spotty during our visit. But you're here for the beach, and it's worth the trip. This hotel does NOT sit beachfront. The beach you see from the deck view photos is across the parking lot and driveway, down a gravel path, and across the road. Maybe 1/8 mile walk to get to the edge of the beach. But this is the BAY beach, not the oceanfront part. It's lovely white sand, but it's right in a channel, so there's a dangerous rip current and you can't swim there (which doesn't stop people from doing it, but I guess they have kids to spare when some are swept out to sea). To get to the spectacular front beach is a half mile walk down the bay beach, or you can drive 1/4 mile, pay $8, and ride the tram to the front beach. So if you're looking for a place right on a swimmable beach, look elsewhere. But if you love a view and don't mind some walking, book right now and have fun!

The penthouse was nice but sleeping in with construction noise next door was impossible. We had to leave to escape the noise. The day and a half spent waiting out the tropical storm was inescapable and stressful.

Very nice, enjoyed the long views of the ocean and bays. Easy location for accessing great beaches, restaurants, etc.

I loved how we didn’t have to check in or out. We had a code setup during a certain time to gain entry and no keys to worry about losing. This PH8 condo was so clean, beautiful had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, the views from all our windows was breathtaking. The pool and hot tub is amazing and they keep them very clean. Flippers is a restaurant you walk to next door and their staff was outstanding and food out of this world but can be pricy but it’s Florida and top notch food. It takes about 10 to 20 mins to get to a store or attractions to do something but the private beach across the street is breathtaking this place is so worth the stay and we can’t wait to come back.

My wife & I enjoyed this condo very much. It was clean and had everything we needed. The view from the lanei is awesome. We were there 3rd week in May, and, unfortunately wasn't able to view a sunset from the lanei. We still very much enjoyed the stay and the condo. If you decide to book it, I'm certain you will love it too !!!

Perfect for our small girl trip.

We loved the location of Lovers Key Resort. It offered us a beautiful view of the gulf, state park mangroves and part of Estero Bay. We were conveniently located walking distance from the Lovers Key State Park beach and a short drive from multiple parks/beaches on Fort Myers Beach (just over the bridge). We also had daily sightings of dolphins!

We had a wonderful getaway after being at home for a year because of the pandemic. What a beautiful spot to unwind. Only superlatives can I report about everything. We enjoyed every second.

We had a great week at PH08 in Lovers Key Resort. The easy access in and out along with spectacular views made for an amazing week away. As the unit was fully equipped, we made more meals in than expected as it was easy, the views splendid and we didn’t have to leave. Our biggest issue was hot water but not for the shower (which was great). The tub couldn’t be filled at a temperature to enjoy. We also didn’t get sunset views as expected but walked to the beach a few nights to enjoy there with a blanket, food and drinks. We left refreshed and happy and renewed after a long year at home!

Gorgeous view from the balcony! This PH has everything you need, full kitchen, convenient laundry facilities, the workout room was excellent, and a clean outdoor pool. Location was perfect for us. We would definitely stay again.

This property is perfect for for a getaway from the cold! The unit is very clean and wonderfully appointed with everything you may need. Views from the balcony are fantastic! The pool area is perfect for lazing in the sun. The adjacentrestaurant is wonderful. It's a short walk to the beach. A rental car is suggested if you want to get around at all. Perfect escape from the Minnesota cold!

Fantastic condo with breathtaking views and everything you would want, we just didn't love the location as its a little far from most of the things we were doing for this particular trip. Other than location, 5/5 rental.

Our honeymoon stay couldn't have been any more relaxing. Everything we needed was provided with top quality luxury. Loved the ease of check-in along with the peace of the suite. Very beautiful views from the top level, and our property manager Jenny was communicative with us throughout the whole process of booking! We enjoyed too how there was always wildlife to be viewed Loved it, would highly recommend for any couple to get away for a while.

The condo is very neat and clean and has everything you need. We loved being on the penthouse floor with the tall ceilings and no one above us! We sat on the balcony every day to watch the sunrise and sunset. Great location! State Park is in walking distance. Enjoyed the hiking trails and beaches. We can't wait to return!

This is a great place to unwind. The condo is well equipped with just about everything you would need. The staff at the resort was very accommodating. The pool was beautiful. Flippers on the Bay (the restaurant adjacent to the resort) had delicious food and drinks. Even the other guest were very friendly. I would highly recommend. We plan to return next time.

Lovely condo. Exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable, larger luxury unit. We really enjoyed staying on the top floor with the higher ceilings and exceptional views of the Gulf and Estero Bay from the lanai. All amenities present you could wish for were available for use. A trolley stop point is located on the road in front of the complex. The Wifi (signal and speed) was excellent during our stay. Would recommend highly.

This is a very beautiful penthouse condo. Very quiet compared to so many other places, but yet close enough to the busy areas. Fantastic views from the top floor and amazing sunsets. Well appointed condo with everything you need. Very clean. Laundry on site if needed, workout room too. Restaurant next door was delicious. The pool area was spacious and beautiful complete with waterfall and hot-tub. I definitely would stay here again! We will be back!

My wife and I spent our birthday week together at this great location. The penthouse was clean, comfortable and had great views. It was very quiet and private. Not really a beach at the resort but a nice pool (although we spent all our time across the street on Lovers Key Beach). The on site restaurant was great as well. The resort property is well maintained. Great fishing, great place to run, nice on site gym. The owner Jenny was great at following up to make sure we had everything we needed. We'll be back in the future!

We enjoyed everything about our 2 weeks at Lovers Key Resort. From location, beautiful condo with incredible views, to on site restaurant. A great place for a real retreat with a beautiful park across the street waiting to be explored. The traffic heading south is a lot better than heading north so for shopping, dinner, etc we tended to go to Bonita. Give this unit a try. You will love it.

The condo rental was very well equipped. It had all the amenities. Very clean and nicely furnished, the only complaints were the WiFi did not work. Too limited as we had the correct password and supposedly good signal strength. Luckily the condo below had a good signal strength and the owners shared their password. The surround sound was nice but the main tv you could not change the channels but manually. My biggest complaint was the shower pressure, I have had more water pressure at a Holiday Inn. We mentioned to the rental company but they said it was normal. We checked with other condo owners and they said their h2o pressure was good. The water didn't make it to the end of the shower. Wonder how the clean it?

My husband and I stayed a week at this condo and enjoyed the location. It is close to the State Park (Lover's Key). We were glad to have our own car because there isn't anything within walking distance so we needed to drive everywhere. There is a trolley available for a small fee. This unit is situated in a quiet place. We rarely heard anyone around us (or on top of us!). We did not visit the pool - however, it looked nice. Also, the views of the bay and state park were absolutely amazing! We would stay here again!

Get experience from beginning to end. Booking was a breeze. Jenny was great to deal with. She responded immediately with answers to our questions. When we arrived there were no surprises. Everything was as advertised. When we discovered the blender was broken, we called Jenny and 2 days later a great new blender arrived. Thanks Jenny! We liked it so much we came home and ordered one. The kitchen was fully equipped, the only thing we needed was food. The location is ideal. Everything you need is within 3 miles. And the front desk people were very helpful and friendly.

The condo was just as pictured. We were very happy with the condo and location and would stay here again. Jenny, the property manager, was very prompt in answering phone calls and emails with any questions.

Great view and accommodations we really enjoyed our week. Located across from Lovers State Park provided nice walks and the view from all points within the condominium were epic. Flippers restaurant located on the property is perhaps the best within the Fort Meyers Beach area. We will be back next year.
