Just one night in thunderstorm headed home. Was cool and wonderful

Traveling to our daughter in Colorado so spent only one night. All was good. Our only problem was getting dinner as closest restaurant was closed the day we were there. Otherwise all good.

Location was good. Located somewhat in between our trip objectives. The small cabin was comfortable. Perfect for a couple get away. The cabin has some age and needed a little TLC. Plywood decking needed to be replaced as well as some lumber on the bench outside. Painting and caulking indoors could help with the wear on the inside. The time of year was perfect for leaving windows open at night. Cabin never got over 73 inside during day and down to 63 at night. They are pet friendly which is hard to find sometimes. Host was great.

We wanted a nice weekend getaway, someplace quiet, but not too far from the city. This fit the bill. The cabin was cozy, with a sweet little porch, plenty of towels, and luggage racks, which were very helpful. We enjoyed ambling around the property, and the city was only about 20 minutes away. Our host put a light on for us, and was responsive and helpful. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations, and went to Harry's twice, because PIE! Definitely recommend.

Property was perfectly described, easy check in and out. Met Michael who could not have been any nicer. Spacious area around house where I was able to play with my dog and throw the ball. There’s even a small little gated area for your dog off the front porch. Hiking trail was beautiful. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything!

A simple cabin that made for a nice, quiet stay. We spent most of our time exploring the Santa Fe area, hiking, or riding bikes, but the Bishop's Hermitage was a great place to return each night. The grounds were fun to explore, especially with our dog, and the stars at night were amazing. We appreciated Christopher's recommendations prior to our stay (especially Harry's Roadhouse, only a 10 minute drive away).

Cute place with all the amenities. Christopher was great and easy to get in touch with. Stayed 2 nights and it was a perfect place to relax after hiking and sightseeing. I really loved driving the windy road to the property! Made me feel like a race car driver!

Unfortunately, we could not stay at this property and the property manager was kind enough to understand our dilemma. It is good to know that this person put customer service first. This was appreciated!

This was a gem of a surprise. The location was close enough to town, but with a remote feeling. The cabin was absolutely perfect - updated, clean, and cozy. We hiked every morning and evening around the property and loved the peacefulness all around. Chris was a great property manager. We would definitely recommend it!

The property was beautiful and nestled in a remote but still proximal location. It offered mountain views, absolute silence, and only 20 minutes to downtown. The host is extremely accomodating and responsive. Overall excelment value! I hope to stay here again on my next trip through Santa Fe.

The cabin was a perfect space to spend the weekend. It was a short beautiful drive outside of Sant Fe. Beautifully decorated and a full kitchen to cook our meals. In a quiet and peaceful area!

This was our second stay at this property; enjoyed a snowy New Year's retreat away from the city. Very clean property and is only about 10 miles from downtown Santa Fe for museums, restaurants and shopping. Kitchen is generally well supplied with dishes and cabin has adequate towels, sheets and blankets. Enjoyed Netflix and walks on the camp grounds. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We stayed three nights in the Bishop's Hermitage at Bishop's Ridge/Camp Stoney. Wish we could have stayed longer! Just what we wanted. Just close enough to Santa Fe and well located in proximity to our favorite places to visit. Away from the noise, traffic and congestion. The cabin is cozy, clean, comfortable and quiet. Check in was easy, our host was welcoming and easy to reach. Will stay again and recommend!

The Bishop's Hermitage is a great getaway. I've stayed here twice and will definitely come back again. Christopher is the perfect host - easily available. I enjoy hiking and the 200+ acres the cabin sits on are easily accessible, whether on or off trail. The cabin includes most necessities but is not overdone. The Wi-Fi worked well and was adequate for WFH endeavors.

This was exactly what we needed - a place to work (remote), relax and reconnect with the great outdoors. You will LOVE this cottage, complete with comfy home features, strong internet, and a peaceful setting. And only a 15 minute drive from the Santa Fe plaza. Even better, you can cruise the Old Santa Fe trail to get into town, a wonderful drive!
Christopher, the host and director of the property is helpful kind, and just a super human! We felt welcome and cared for during our time, and still had the privacy we needed when we needed it. Thank you Christopher for opening your beautiful space to us, we hope to be back very soon!

We had a great stay - Christopher's directions very clear & easy to follow, check in was contactless & instant. The setting in the Episcopal camp was restful & in the midst of the woods - yet 15 minutes from Santa Fe Our dogs loved walking the paths & trails. The stars were spectacular at night
Thank you for a wonderful stay

Beautiful place, perfect for us, right on the Old Santa Fe Trail, when we would go to town we would just stay on the OSFT and it would take us right to the plaza in Santa Fe.

If you’ve ever stayed at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah, this will remind you of it. Off the beaten path, this little cottage had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, big clean bathroom, and a kitchen we could cook in. It was quiet and my daughter and I both felt safe staying here. A fun stay for a stop over night!

We stayed here one year ago and found the surroundings in the mountains so peaceful we decided to stay again. Only a short 20-25 minute drive to the center of Santa Fe, and you'd never guess. It feels like you're in the wilderness. Quiet nights with lots of great star viewing, clean accommodations, and a full kitchen that's easy to cook in. Great outdoor porch with rocking chairs, and even a small fenced area for the canine friends. Lot's of great trails for hiking. Highly recommend!

Very cozy bungalow close enough to town in a beautiful setting.

It was a beautiful location right out of Santa Fe. There were some pros and cons to the stay.
Pros:
Beautiful and remote, place was clean, Christopher was easy to get ahold of.
Cons:
The place was hard to find because they don’t give you any idea where the cabin is on the grounds. There were also ants in the kitchen when we got there. The AC unit also kept falling out of the window and we kept having to fix it.
Overall not a bad place to stay but it’s very small, hot in the summer, and kind of hard to find.

The location of this cozy and comfortable cabin is ideal for feeling away from it all, yet easily accessible to all the city conveniences. Check-in and check-out was easy, efficient and contactless. Christopher, our host, was responsive and easy to reach when we had questions. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Santa Fe area.

We loved this little house in the mountains! It even has a small dog run, but ours preferred to be on leash exploring the grounds. Very quiet and peaceful, and well-appointed house.

Christopher is the perfect host. Although the cabin was not as secluded in the Santa Fe National Forrest as we thought it might be, it was perfect for our getaway. Due to earlier wildfires some of the closest hiking trails were closed but there were plenty of trails in Santa Fe, so we didn't do without. I will definitely book it again.
