Spacious Sonoma Gated Retreat with Pool, Tennis and Pickleball

Gorgeous house with plenty of space. We stayed for a laid back bachelorette party. It was a beautiful property and plenty of space for our whole group. Everyone had a bed which was important to us. We really enjoyed ourselves and wish we could have stayed longer

Great property with lots of activities for families to partake in from tennis, pickleball to foosball. The pool was the prefect temperature for swimming in the evening as the sun went down, as the temp outside was in the 90s for us during the day. We didn't use the tennis/basketball due to heat with sun coming down. The main house kitchen is large enough to accommodate multiple prepping/cooking and the large dining table could site everyone easily with comfort. BBQ outside worked great. The beds were super comfortable in every room. The casita it nice away from main house by a few yards. Didn't use the casita kitchen so can't comment on that. Any communication with owners was excellent with quick responses.

Wonderful home with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to spend time together as a family. We enjoyed the hot tub, pickleball, bocce ball, and pool tables. Great location - not far from Sonoma plaza, wineries, Sonoma market, and an easy drive to Napa. Great kitchen for preparing meals for a crowd! And a great supply of dishes, serving dishes, spices, etc. recommend walking thru the place with the caretaker when you arrive to learn how everything works! (He was very helpful).

We are a group of college friends who take an annual trop to somewhere wonderful and this was no exception. The home was well equipped, especially the kitchen which had EVERYTHING. We did a lot of cooking. The weather was unseasonably warm but we enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as all the games and property. This place would be great for a large family gathering.

A wonderfully designed and curated property with something for everyone! This was a great location for a multi-generational family gathering with plenty of spaces to congregate and get away. Being in the middle of wine country was definitely a bonus. The owner was very responsive and sensitive to the needs of our group. Highly recommend!

The property is private, woodsy, and has very enjoyable outside sitting areas, including a fire pit which we enjoyed every evening. The kitchen is very well stocked, better than any VRBO we've ever visited. For a large house, the AC works very well.
The living quarters certainly need some repairs and improvements, e.g., an inoperative microwave, a mattress replacement, a screen door off its tracks, etc.

We returned to Paul's fabulous, spacious home after two years where we enjoyed the additional amenities. Both kids and adults spent hours in the heated pool and played basketball, tennis, and pickle ball. The well-supplied and expansive kitchen delighted our resident and outside chefs. The bedroom and bathroom layout perfectly met the needs of 12 people.

This is without a doubt a delightful property - there are many options for fun with sports and hobbies. The home was well designed and furnished in the past. The maintenance man is a good person. What is required is time between rentals for maintenance and tidying to occur. The first night and day that we were there, the home and guest house were not heated (in the 50s) on a 30something degree night, there was an odor that permeated the entire house that originated in a bathroom shower. We reached out to all, and succeeded at contacting the kind handyman by the next evening. He made improvements. Perhaps a credit for the day should be considered.

Family Retreat
Lots of amenities for families. Our grandkids loved the pool, pool table, arcade games. The reason for the 4 star was the cleaner was still cleaning when we got there, then the guy started mowing the lawn around the pool when we were about to hop in, and we did not know the property manager would be around working on the property. So we would highly recommend the property, but it would be helpful to know who else will be around during your stay.

Simply Devine
Everyone was super stoked when we arrived here as the place is beyond belief! Jason and the cleaning team were just finishing up so we were afforded a detailed tour of the property to include instructions and tips for everything the house had to offer. The beds were comfortable, the space ample, amenities abounded, with lots of options for our group of 8 ladies to gather comfortably together OR if desiring a break or some down time solo. The house is situated close to plenty of stuff to do locally, though not far at all from Napa (about a 30-40 minute drive), and surrounded by lots of land, feeling secluded and private when at home relaxing. Lots of laughs were had around the kitchen table while we caught up with one another and played games. Then around the MASSIVE dining table when we hired a private chef to come prepare and serve us "dinner in" one night. Worth mentioning that he and his team were more than pleased with the kitchen and grill! There were a couple very small needs during our stay that were expressed by call to Jason, and he answered and assisted immediately. My only real complaints are that we could not stay longer and it was too cold to fully enjoy the outdoor areas...which were exceptional! We tried out the hot tub but it never got to a comfortable temp, likely because it was in the 20's and 30's most nights of our stay! Fortunately we did not need it for our group but the office/workout/daybed house key would not work and we could see from the windows it would not have been suitable to sleep in anyway as it had not been cleaned. I feel strongly had this been brought up to the property manager it would have been addressed but again, wasn't necessary for our group. I would stay here again, most definitely!!!

Happy Grandparents, grandchildren and their parents!
The spacious house and property was a delightful setting to host our daughter, son and their spouses, each with 2 toddler children (with new baby). All 6 adults and 4 children each had a bed to sleep in and a bathroom to share. The open design of the living room, kitchen area and dining nook offered a continuous connection amongst us, so the children were always within sight. The play structure and expansive grounds kept the kids moving. The spa heated up quickly and was a happy place for adults on cold November evenings. There was ample parking for 3 large vehicles. Grandparents had their own quieter space in the guest house that was separated a few feet away from the main house. Most importantly the host was very responsive, quick to answer questions and respond.

Paul’s home and property are beyond beautiful! It was the perfect place to spend Thanksgiving, reuniting with family. There’s tons of space inside the home and around the property. The furnishings and design of the home and guest house are nicely done. Everything was also very clean. Amazing kitchen and the dining room was fabulous, able to seat 15 people!

Beautiful Property
The property is beautiful both inside and out. The landscaping is gorgeous! Unfortunately for us (but fortunate for the CA drought), it rained much of our stay. We weren't able to take advantage of the fire pit, batting cages, etc. The inside of the house boasts open rooms with plenty of seating so that we were able to socialize inside and watch the rain fall.

Our first trip since Covid and we were really looking forward to spending time with our whole family. This home was the perfect place to gather. It accommodated us all so comfortably with plenty of space to be together and spaces to slip off and be alone.

According to the 8 out-of state guests in our party, this home is "very California" - the ranch-style layout, great light, grapevine trellises, large pool, & humming birds all added to the fact that it was the perfect size for 10 to spread out, make great use of the kitchen, various sitting areas, pool/foosball/ping pong and corn hole games. We had a wonderful time. It is also super close to Sonoma square for shopping ease, going to dinner, or grabbing groceries. Our group had a lovely visit to Kunde and Imagery wineries. Highly recommend!

We had a family reunion with 9 adults 2 kids (youngest was 9) and it was even better than we expected. The listing is accurate but it doesn’t capture just how much room you have in both the houses and the large property. We had ample room to congregate together but also plenty of spaces to retreat to for quieter time. We highly recommend this gorgeous, but still casual and delightful, rental for any large group stay. The pool and hot tub were amazing for hot days cooler evenings. We hope to stay here again!
