Thanks to Covid, remote work is a thing. So we were able to stay 3 weeks...work a little, play a lot! We skied, we snowshoed, we hot tubbed, we apres skied, we ate great food. Fantastic location, well stocked kitchen for cooking, comfortable space for the 4 of us (2 couples). Shuttle comes about every 15 minutes. We did walk to the base a couple of times...feels a bit long carrying skis and wearing ski boots, but it is absolutely doable. Much better if you wear regular boots and rent a locker at the base. The hot tub is kept HOT and the pool is actually really comfortable. Absolutely amazing time-would

Even with receiving over 6" of snow, the walk from the condo to the slopes was easy. Highly recommend a storage locker at the base of the ski slopes.

An adult family ski week trip. The property is exactly as described and shown in the listing. Clean and comfortable with a great location. 5 minute walk to the gondola. Condo owners manage your stay and they were friendly, informative and attentive. Will absolutely stay there again!

The location is close to the ski resort. The kitchen has all of the necessities. The owners have a locker for you to store your ski gear in so the walk is very pleasant.

We chose this place because of how close it was to ski town square and the market. The bus system in steamboat is great but to be able to walk everywhere is even better.
The place was perfect for us. It was clean and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the fireplace, the great cable package to enjoy movies and cooking in the kitchen. The humidifiers were also appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our 2nd time staying here and everything was great again. Great value considering the unit, parking, and location. Also opted for optional ski locker in the base village (Steamboat Ski Lockers next to waffle shop) which was super convenient (was tight but fit 4 skis and poles).

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was great - just as described. The proximity to the base was great. Linda was very communicative and provided very detailed (and appreciated) instructions for accessing the building and the condo. Would be happy to stay here again!

Linda and Michael were great hosts! Their communication was super! Their condo was clean and comfortable, within a short walk to the mountain, the wild plum grocery store, town transit and ski rental shop.
The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens. The humidifiers for the bedrooms were great! As other renters mentioned, the dryer takes a long time, and needs to be checked, as it had to be restarted a couple of times to fully dry everything.
The hot tub and pool were a welcome respite after a day of skiing.
We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at this condo! We loved the location for an easy walking distance from the base and shops and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped (we used it every night!) and also enjoyed access to the hot tub and pool which were great after a day of skiing. There was plenty of space for 4 of us to relax, and having a second bathroom was super convenient. Linda was a lovely host who gave us recommendations and was easy to communicate with! All in all a wonderful experience and would stay again! Thanks Linda and Michael!

We stayed at the condo for five nights for a family ski trip. Condo is located close to the gondola base, bus stop and numerous shops and restaurants. Linda was awesome with providing recommendations for travel arrangements. Condo is well equipped and clean. We really enjoyed our stay in Steamboat.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was conveniently located in easy walking distance to the gondola and base area, and is well-appointed. It was perfect for our group of 3.
The only suggestion is to NOT take the shuttle to the base, unless you have some sort of physical limitation. Adds an easy 20 min to the process as the other stop takes you further from the base, and normally includes a small army of people. Did that once, never again.

Really nice condo. Very clean and well maintained. Small issue with smoke alarm but owner was very attentive and got it resolved very quickly. Unit is on the outside edge of what I would say is a walkable distance to the Gondola but doable. There is a shuttle but it's sometimes just faster to walk. Hot tub was nice and there is very nice indoor parking (but we didn't use). Overall the owner was very communicative and made the check in process very easy and straightforward. I would highly recommend and will try to rent from Linda again.

We had a wonderful stay in steamboat. The property was clean and just as advertised. We thought the ski locker was closer to the ski base but we figured it out regardless. The shuttle was very convenient but occasionally not there when expected. Overall, we loved our stay!

We had a great stay at Steamboat. Fantastic skiing conditions and time with friends and family. Accommodation in Unit N12 at The Terraces was a decent, economic option for us, given how weak the Australian Dollar is right now. It’s neat, tidy and had all we needed as a family of 4. Linda was helpful to any of our queries. It is well set out, and has good bedding configuration options. The Terraces building is tired, some construction going on and the communal spaces (including the pool and hot tub) are getting very old. Access to the pool area only through the garage at the moment which is kinda unappealing. Definitely not the owners fault, but important to be aware of. The undercover car space is a great option, though it’s a very tight spot!
It’s an easy enough walk from the gondola, though we paid to have our skis and boots stored as it was just that bit too far at the end of the day to carry everything.
If you are looking for a clean, economic option close to the mountain, then this property would most definitely suite.

Summertime in Steamboat is gorgeous! We had a wonderful time 4-wheeling, tubing down the Yampa, and enjoying the local restaurants. We brought our Jeep so it fit nicely in the garage parking spot. The property was very clean and spacious. It was perfect for our family of 4. The pool and hot tub was an added bonus to the property.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway
Summertime in Steamboat is gorgeous! We had a wonderful time 4-wheeling, tubing down the Yampa, and enjoying the local restaurants. We brought our Jeep so it fit nicely in the garage parking spot. Additional info...
The inside of the condo was clean and neatly organized but no a/c and the mattress led to sleepless nights in July heat. Fans were not enough and whoever prepared the room left the windows open during the day so when we checked in it was 85 in the unit. There also felt like some hot air was coming through the vents in the bathroom.
If you do need the parking garage, we would not recommend bringing a large vehicle as the spot is the smallest in the garage with utility equipment making it difficult to get out on the drivers side with a larger vehicle. Street parking was plentiful and easier to enter the condo anyhow!
We suggest the fact that a credit card number will be given directly to owners (not through VRBO) for any damages be made clear on the damage section of the listing on VRBO rather than a separate contract sent after booking. (Owners assure us no one else has been bothered by sharing their cc information with them via personal email.)

Escape to the mountains
Enjoyed our stay! Great location. We walked as a family to the restaurants at the base of the mountain. The unit is also very quiet, didn’t even hear any of the neighbors.

Very convenient location and setup. A short walk or a free shuttle to Steamboat Gondola, several restaurants and groceries within blocks and the ski locker at the mountain base made this easy. Add in the heated garage and the pool and hot tub on the property and you have a relaxing and enjoyable vacation!

Small 2 bedroom needs a facelift
Smaller than pictures indicated. Lights out in both bedrooms. Fans didn't work. Hot tub not very clean. Furniture old, scratched. Needs a facelift. So does the exterior property.

Steamboat Ski Trip
Overall a great place to stay. It took exactly 6 minutes to walk to the Gondola from this condo. Owner/manager was responsive and easy to communicate with. It was a little tight for 4 but certainly manageable.
